TW: betrayal, might trigger your trust issue
Ciara's pov
"Where are we, Hannah?" I asked while she was still driving, the road we were going through was so familiar.
"We're still a bit far," she answered.
"Where are we exactly going?" The way is really familiar, did I once go here?
"Do you remember where we went back then? Where did my parents die? In Santa Rosa, they are there now, I'm sure about it," she replied, my lips parted. Oh, I remember now!
But why would they gather there? In the place where their parents died, seriously?
"I don't know why they even thought of meeting there, I don't know what they're planning." I turned to Hannah when I felt the seriousness in the tone of her voice. I can understand why she suddenly became serious because that was exactly the place where her parents were killed. Who wouldn't get angry?
"We need to hurry, I'm nervous about what they're gonna do to Tyron. I don't have a good feeling," After a while, she became restless and her fingers and legs moved steadily. Obviously anxious, that's why I swallowed because I suddenly got affected by her nervousness.
"Me either," I utter worriedly.
"Wear your seatbelt, hurry! I'll speed up!" She said, I nodded immediately and fastened my seat belt.
"Thank you."
"Thank me later when we get there and we've finally rescued Tyron, we still don't know what's waiting for us there, so keep it. We can't be calm until we get him back to us."
She's right. She said it was their territory, which means we won't just see two people as I encountered earlier. I'm sure many of them will give us a harder time getting him.
Just a few minutes later, we have already arrived in Santa Rosa, right in front of the building.
"Here we go," Hannah said as she let out a heavy sigh. I immediately went down and was about to rush inside, when Hannah stopped me and frowned when she pulled my arm back.
"Where are you going?! Are you crazy? Don't get in that fast! What if they have weapons?! Calm yourself down, okay? We'll go in slowly. They can't know we're here." I nodded in response before we could finally get inside. The building was vast and we didn't know where we were going to turn.
"Where are they?" I asked Hannah, there were so many hallways and we didn't know where we should go first.
"I don't know either, let's just see for it, let's go!" I followed her but then suddenly stopped when I heard a voice.
"Help! Help us!" I heard a woman shout not far away, which made me quickly look back in the direction where I heard it.
"Help!!" The familiar voice of the man shouted which made my eyes widen.
"T-Tyron!" I called out and was about to run to the source of that voice when Hannah stopped me again.
"Why?"
"Shh! I can hear a footstep!" She said. I closed my mouth for a moment and listened to it as well. I was devastated when I heard something.
"Would you both shut your mouths?!" I heard the man shout.
"Both? Wait, all I know is that they only took Tyron..." Who is with him?
"It's a woman, who could it be?" Hannah asked in surprise. That's also what I heard the first time it shouted. Who is she?
"Come on, let's take a quick look!" I said.
"Wait, slow down! Let's wait for him to leave!" I nodded, that's when I realized that it was his older brother.
When we heard nothing anymore, we slowly entered, peeking through the wall to assure no one was there.
"Let's go!" I dragged Hannah.
"Wait!"
My eyes widened when I saw that Tyron wasn't really the only one tied up now.
"Jennifer?!" Shocked drew on my face. How on earth did my best friend in here?! For a moment I looked back and forth between the two of them who were also surprised to see me.
"Ciara! Get out of here! Get away from Hannah!" Tyron shouted with all his might and it was obvious on his face that he was in pain, it was probably because of his stab, but he was still able to flee the fact that his body was tied when he saw me.
But immediately my brows twitched at what he said.
Did he just tell me to stay away from Hannah? What, why?
"Stay away from that hypocrite, Ara! Runaway from here! She's the mastermind of all this! She's the reason why I got dragged in here!" Jennifer screams.
"W-what?" I asked confused.
"Please, Ciara! Please listen to me, go now!" I nervously turned to Hannah when Tyron said that again.
Why would he say that...
I saw Hannah lowered her head and can't look at me which made me even more confused.
"Save yourself, Ara! Don't believe her! Just listen to us please!" Jen shouted again.
"H-Hannah?" I called her, but she just remained bowing.
"Do you believe them, Ciara?" I know her voice was sad when she asked me. It was as if my chest was pounding because I didn't know what to say.
I don't know what to believe, because first of all, it was Hannah who helped me get here to save Tyron, so why are they keeping me away? I'm so confused! Hannah couldn't have anything to do with this, because all she did was save my life. So she can't betray me. She told me last night that she wouldn't let me get hurt, right?
Is this what she says that they're gonna use her as bait? Because if so, I don't know what to do because I don't know what to believe anymore.
"Ciara! Don't believe that woman!" Tyron shouted, my lips parted. That woman? Did he just call Hannah, that woman?
Tyron, that's Hannah. The woman you love...
But Tyron wouldn't say that if he was just lying, wouldn't he? She loves Hannah, I know that.. but now, I see no emotion in Tyron's eyes but pure anger while looking sharply at Hannah.
I'm confused! I don't know who to believe!
"You traitorous woman! Stay away from my best friend!" Jennifer shouted.
"W-what are you saying?"
"CIARA, LISTEN TO US! PLEASE! GO NOW! JUST LISTEN!"
"C-Ciara? D-do you believe them?" I heard Hannah ask me in a very sad tone, I turned my gaze to her. I couldn't answer her question because my chest was already throbbing with nervousness.
Only one of them is wrong and is telling the truth.
"Do you believe them?"
"CIARA! GET OUT OF HERE! Tyron shouted.
"Tell me, do you believe them?" I heard Hannah cry.
"Hannah...
I have known my best friend for a long time and she never lied to me. But at the same time...
"DO YOU BELIEVE IN THEM!!" I automatically stepped back and got shocked when Hannah yelled at me.
"Hannah.." I'm sorry.. but I don't believe you. I don't know what you're planning, but I can't feel myself comfortable with you right now.

"S-sorry, sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to," she apologized and bowed again, I saw something drip tears from her eyes.

"Hannah, just let's be honest." I cried. I want her to tell me that she was just told to do it and she really has no plans of harming me. It's just a set, isn't it?
I probably looked stupid now, because I'm not believing Tyron and Jennifer. But there's a part of me that wants to listen to them because I know Jennifer's honesty, she would never fail me by trusting her.
But what do they know if Hannah was just set doing it? She told me about this last night...
"Be honest?" Hannah's voice cracked.
"Do you want to know the truth?"
"H-Hannah..."
"YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, RIGHT?!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Its demonic laughter made my heart pound in nervousness. I couldn't move my foot because of the horror when I heard her laugh.
"H-Hannah.." I said nervously, as I took a step back. My eyes widened our eyes met, the looks she had on me that were so innocent were all now gone. Everything was replaced by a sharp look as if I had done something to her enormous sin.
What did I do, Hannah?
I was just shaken because I could no longer see in her the Hannah I knew and trusted.
"Where are you going?" Her voice was frightening.
I'm about to run, but I was only two steps away when he pulled my arms.
"LET GO OF MY BEST FRIEND! YOU FUCKING ANIMAL! YOU'RE SUCH A TRAITOR HANNAH! YOU'RE TRAITOR!" Jennifer Shouted, as she tried to flee with the rope wrapped around her.

"Hannah, please! H-have mercy! Let go of me!"
"Hahahahahahaha! What do you mean to have mercy, Ciara?! Why?! Did your parents even have mercy when they mercilessly killed my parents, huh?! Yes, Ciara! You heard it right! YOUR PARENT WAS THE ONE SHO KILLED MY PARENTS!" She blurted out and tightened her grip on my hair even more.
"S-stop it, Hannah! Let me go, please. I have nothing to do with them!"
"Do you still remember, Ciara? Kylie De Mastrano and Azer De Mastrano, huh? They're your parents, dumbass!" She yelled and pushed me away which made me stumbled to the ground. I moaned weakly when I felt my palm scratch.
"CIARA/ARA!
I remember now. It was them. I heard those names from her. The De Mastrano she was referring to was none other than my parents whom I have no idea that those were their real names.
I hope if I remembered, I could realize from the beginning that she was the mastermind of everything!
"Hannah, how could you do this to us?"
"It was just funny how Tyron doesn't have any idea that I'm just using him to get closer to you," my ears rang. I looked at Tyron who is now looking so devastated. I can't help but feel a little sorry for him, because it looks like Hannah just really used him.
If that's the case then, didn't she really love Tyron? But what about the five years they spent together? What's the use of that? It's impossible in those five years that she didn't really love Tyron? I'm still not in their lives at that time, right?

"The case is, you still find out, because of that poor woman," she pointed to Jennifer who glared at her. "Yes, she's right, I'm the reason why she was brought in here, she's such a hindrance, so I keep her quiet," she smirked.
"Heartless!" I heard Jennifer shout at her.
"I know right? Lol, relax, please?"
"And also, do you remember the day that Tyron slept with someone? Well, of course, it's all my fault! Yes, yes. I'm the reason why suddenly someone knocked on Tyron's door. I know he was so drunk that day, that's why I took the chance? Perfect! Well, I mean almost perfect, because you survive." She sounded so disappointed. I can't help but be hurt instead of getting angered.
Because all I thought was that she would be always on my side, but it turns out not, because she's a traitor.
She's a big disappointment. Apart from making me believe in her pretentious trait, she just used Tyron, which I thought she really loved Tyron so she couldn't let go. That's why she can't let go of it because that's her way to get close to me and starts her plan!

I looked in that direction when I heard loud applause. There, I saw a woman who exactly looked like Hannah, causing my brows to frown.
They looked exactly the same. What the hell?
"Nice to see you AGAIN, My dear!" She greets me.
"Everyone, I want you to meet, my twin! Shaira Soriano!" Hannah smiled and pointed at her twin.
