ONE YEAR LATER

Clara has been busy preparing baby Tristan for the morning. It is a cold day outside and she has dressed him in the warmest baby clothes in his closet. I haven't said anything about them being too hot for him, but what can I say? She is the mother so she knows what is best for Tristan.
After dressing him up, she carries him to me and places him in my arms. Tristan has his moments. Sometimes he is very excited to play with daddy, and sometimes he is very furious to see me and he won't let me carry him. I guess today is my lucky day!
Tristan gives me a cute big smile when I hold him in my arms. I can't help the grin that reflects on my face when I realize that I have timed one of his good moods.
Mommy looks so tired. Tristan has been up half of the night giving her a hard time. I was awake all night and so was everyone else in the house but he didn't want anyone to get his fingers on him except his mommy. Now he wants me to carry him. I have to utilize this golden opportunity.
"I am going to take Tristan downstairs. You should have some rest," I tell Clara who is standing in front of me with her arms resting on her hips. I guess she was ready to grab him back incase he screamed out of terror after realizing that he is in my arms.
"Okay," Clara replies with a nod. Oh, she looks so tired. We hardly get a lot of time to spend alone together after Tristan's arrival. He doesn't sleep for long, just like his father, and he wants to be very active during the day, just like his mother. We are trying our best to adapt to his schedule but it is really difficult.
One thing I know is that he likes his grandpa, Fabian. He is never moody when he is around him. I don't know why but the two are like best friends.
If you are still wondering what happened between Fabian and me that day I went to confront him at his house, I am still not aware about what exactly happened to him. He has changed a lot since then. He hardly ever shows up at my house, though. We are not the best of friends but I am still grateful for the far we have reached till now.
Clara and I seriously interrogated Liam about whay he talked to Fabian to change his mind but he just old is that he just told him the truth about the situation. When everything happened between Fabian and I back then, that was the era. An eye for an eye, kiilling each other, stealing land, and all that uncivilized way of living. Now everything has changed. We can't hold onto what happened centuries ago. We need to move on.
I carry the baby downstairs and find Victoria eagerly waiting for him. Victoria is now pregnant and she really loves hanging out with Tristan. Every couple in this house got serious after Clara and I got engaged and had our child.
Orpheus and Amber are handling things. They used to argue over everything like siblings but now they are in love. Such an odd couple, but you can't break a bind once it bonds you. They still don't agree on somethings though, but now they agree on a good number of things.
These days, Amber and Clara talk. Actually, I also talk with Amber. I thought she had hated me when Clara came into my life, but somehow, Orpheus managed to bring back her smile.
Everything here has been going well. The construction of the new house ended but no one wants to leave this house. We are one big family and we belong together. We have enough space in here but I guess we might need the extra space. There is a new generation coming here, I can see.
Just a week ago, Katherine and Raul announced that they are pregnant. I am wondering if Clara is the omen that has brought fertility in this house...
Victoria has taken Tristan away to her room so that the two can bother Luther. Surprisingly, Tristan seems excited to go! I guess he is in his best mood today. I hope it last.
Talking about good moods, my baby girl is going to be free for some time since Victoria has taken the baby. I am going to upstairs and show her a good time.
I climb up the stairs with a wild grin on my face. Reaching the bedroom, I hear shower is still running. I hope I am not too late. I quickly strip off all my clothes and quietly walk into the bathroom.
The shower is filled with her sweet scent. I walk to her and engulf my arms around her from behind. There is no use sneaking on her. I am sure she already knew that I was coming in. She turns in my embrace so that she is facing me.
"Where did you put the baby?" she inquires from me.
"Victoria took him away," I reply and she sighs. I touch her face and caress her cheek. She leans I go my hand wanting more of my touch. I use my other hand to caress her back.
"Baby, I know that you have been going through a lot since Tristan arrived. I am really grateful for your commitment to me and Tristan and my family. You have no idea how lucky you make me feel," I tell her.
"That's so sweet of you," she says with a shy smile. I lean closer and give her a deep passionate kiss on her lips. She throws her hands around my neck and pulls me closer. I grab her ass and give it a squeeze, generating a sweet moan from her. The sound reverberates through my body making me hard on the instant. God! I want her so bad!
I can smell her arousal. She wants me. I have missed this so much. I really want to take her from here but we haven't done this bathroom sex for a while because of the pregnancy and we didn't want to take any risks.
I really want to make love to her and give a proper fuck this time. So I lift her off the floor and she wraps her legs around my waist. To hell with showering! We shall figure that out later. I carry her to the bedroom and put her on the bed.
She has the brightest of smiles on her face right now. Gosh! I am so hard for her. I can't help but kiss her mouth again. I don't think I will ever get enough of these lips. I can't get enough of her.
Tonight, I am going to focus only on her pleasure. I want to make her forget the rest about the world other than me and have a pleasurable time. I always love to have my wife's pleasure in my hands. I am utterly grateful for the fact that I am the only man who has ever held her pleasure and made her reach heights. Sometimes it is not bad to be selfish when it comes to your mate.
Despite the so many things that came out way, fate had our side. We managed to get through all of the hurdles and hurricanes and we are still strong to face some more. Who thought the storm of Fabian just turn out to be a warm drizzle? I guess everything happened to strengthen our relationship.
At this moment, we only look forward to make ourselves happy and those we care about. We can't say that we have won against the world but we don't have to have a lot to feel that we have archived a lot. All that matters is the self-satisfaction and the happiness. You don't need too much.
Now I know the meaning of life. My world rotates around Clara. She is my happiness. Everything she touches comes to life. She's my goddess! She changed my life for good and my family adores her. What more in life could I possibly want? Nothing. I am a contented and happy husband and father. There is nothing that can add to that.
