My phone started ringing and I looked at it to see Abhi calling me.
"Talk!" I said still focused on my laptop.
"You're such an asshole man! No greetings for your best friend?" He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Stop with your drama & talk." I said annoyed.
"What are you doing tonight?" He asked.
"The usual. Sleeping." I said bored.
"Too boring. Let's go out for clubbing today. It is been a long time." He said.
"No. I don't want to."
I replied quickly.
"Ohh come on! It was Ayan who called me and asked about it."
He tried to convince me.
"So? I said i am not in the mood of it." I said irritated.
"Ayan & Shanaya is also there. Daksh is out of town. So I need company." He whined.
" Not even because Shanaya is coming?" He teased.
What is it with everyone & teasing me?
"What if she is coming? Am I supposed to follow her everywhere?"
I asked him still focusing on my work.
"Fine!" He huffed and hung up.
When I was done with my patient rounds, I was headed towards my apartment.
Again my phone started ringing and this time it read
Annoying Kid
It bought a smile to my face.
A smile on my face.
Quite rare!
I answered her call and she started yelling
"Aarav, dude come on you can't just sulk in your house. It is a long weekend holiday."
I had to put my phone away from my ear to save my ears from stop functioning.
"Can you just talk in a voice which is in normal human hearing range?" I asked smiling to myself.
"Absolutely not! You better get your ass home fast. I am going to drag you to the club." She said and hung up.
When I reached home my doorbell started ringing continuously and I knew who was this.
I opened the door and asked
"And then you ask me why do I call you—
My words got stuck in my throat when I took in her appearance.
She wore a red dress which hugged her curves perfectly and I would be lying If I say she didn't affect me one bit.
Ohh it is long time you agree on it now!
She just pushed me inside and entered as if she owned the house.
"So, continue what were you saying?" She asked smirking.
"What was I saying?" I asked confused.
I freaking forgot what was I about to say to her.
Help me!
"Okay, fuck it. You are going in there and get down all ready for the club in 5 mins.
This is not a request." She said glaring at me.
Is it wrong If I say that she looks hot right now?
Because she does!
"I said I am not coming." I said moving towards the kitchen but she held my hand and turned me around.
For a girl she sure has nice strength.
"I am just trying to make your life a little bit fun. That's it." She said shrugging.
"Why?" I asked moving closer to her.
"So the next time someone asks you how was your day. You would say your day was great and not just fine." She said looking at me with a smile.
Offffooo!
She is a red danger sign for my heart.
"I don't like these things." I said.
"I'll make sure you like it." She said winking at me.
"I can get ready only if you leave my hand, you know." I said smiling at her.
And she gave me a full blown smile.
"Go fast." She said leaving my hand.
I got down the stairs and she was nowhere to be found.
This trouble of a girl!
A message popped up on my screen.
Annoying Kid : I am in the parking. Don't get your car keys.
I got down and saw a red maserati standing and Shanaya in the driver seat.
Not again!
I knocked on her window and she pulled it down.
"Get down!" I said to her raising my voice.
"No, it is my car and I am driving it." She said being the stubborn one she is.
"I won't get into the car. Stop being stubborn and get down this instant!" I said to her in a stern tone.
She rolled her eyes and shifted to the passenger seat. I got into the driver seat and started the engine.
She huffed looking at me and turned towards the window.
"Are you going to behave like a kid and sit there huffing?" I asked trying to control my laugh.
"You should be awarded for the biggest ass of the century!" She said and then I started laughing.
"It is the first time, I was going to drive my new car! It just arrived today." She huffed and turned her head towards the window again.
Laughing I pinched her cheek with one hand and said "Stop whining like a kid."
We reached and handing the keys to the valet we entered.
A private booth was booked and everyone else was seated over there.
"I thought you were out of the town." I asked Daksh rolling my eyes.
"I lied so that you could come." Abhi said shrugging.
"I thought you loved me enough to not leave me alone with these kids but then you just keep on disappointing me." Abhi said making a sulking face.
"Aarav, it is been years you got laid. Come on dude. Have some fun." Daksh said and again I rolled my eyes at him.
"Let's play something!" Ayan yelled and I just looked at him bored.
"Such a spoilsport you are!" Shanaya said smacking my arm.
"He is going to come up with a weird ass game in which I am not at all interested." I said whispering in her ear as the music started blaring very loudly.
She just laughed at it with her head on my shoulder.
I just sat there admiring her.
When my brain was blaring with red lights denoting the danger she is for my heart, I just ignored all of it and did not miss that single chance of admiring her.
"I've bought shots for all. And for you both it is cold drink." Ayan said gesturing towards us.
"You don't drink?" We both asked each other simultaneously.
"Not in the mood today." She said shrugging.
"I don't drink. I've left it years ago." I said and picked the glass.
"I'll be back." She said standing up with myra and I held her hand.
"Where are you going?" I asked yelling due to the loud music.
She bent towards me and her face was very close to my face.
"Washroom." She whispered and I forgot how to breathe for a second.
She was soo close!
"I thought you found my sister irritating." Daksh asked smirking.
"Well she is, but then I've made amends with that fact." I said smiling.
"And I think you're quite happy that you've made amends, huh." Abhi asked wiggling his eyebrows.
"Shut up. And search for a girl for yourself." I said to him.
"I don't want to. I have eyes for only one now." He said and Ahana came in with a smile on her face.
I hugged her with a smile and asked her
"How are you, my sweetheart?"
"I am fine, baby brother." She teased me.
"Where is my sister-in-law?" She whispered wiggling her brows.
I just rolled my eyes at her.
Why is everyone hell bent on shipping us?
