"You bitch!" In a blink of an eye, she managed to slap me.
"I gave my trust to you! I let you step inside my house because I thought you're true! But I was wrong for thinking I let a human insid3, because you're a snake! A snake!"
That was the last straw. I raised my hands to slap her back. She stepped back at the impact.
"You bitch! You're a whore!" she shouted hysterically.
Marcus tried to stop her by holding both her arms. But she didn't budge and fwced the guests.
"Look at this woman! She's my husband's mistress!" She say it louder and clearer.
"You might swallow your words! " I talked back.
"Alessandra, that's enough! Something bad might happen to you" Marcus said.
"I won't stop until I erase this woman's face!" she shouted.
"Is that what you want? I'll tell you the truth. In front of everybody so you'll shut up!" I started to raise my voice.
I saw Marcus froze and unconsciously loosened his grip on Alessandra. Gabriel was looking at me darkly. I couldn't read anything from him while waiting for what I'm about to say.
"The man you own as your husband is my real husband. I'm the legal wife!" I firmly said.
She furrowed her brows and walked towards me. "What did you say?!" she said shakily.
"You heard it right? His real name was Hezekiah Leric Grant! And I am his legal wife!"
Shock registered on her face, lips quivered so bad. Her knees suddenly weakened. Her eyes pooled with tears as she tried to catch her breath while holding her chest.
"No, this can't be true... I am his wife! You're a liar!" she uttered a loud cry.
I froze and immediately felt guilty. She suddenly dropped on the floor.
"Alessandra!" Gabriel shouted.
He quickly went to her while Marcus called for hel.
"lf something bad happens to my daughter, I will blame no one but you!" Cassandra told me angrily.
She also went to Alessandra who was breathing heavily until she passed out.
I stepped back. I didn't expect this to happen. I just want to tell the truth and to take my husband back.
I tried to get closer to her but Gabrip raised his gaze on me, eyes holding total anger.
My heart twisted as tears gathered around my eyes.
"I'm so sorry..." I uttered.
I turned around and walked outside.
I drove the car fast without any direction. My eyes dripped with tears as I pressed my hands against the steering wheel shakily.
"Damn it! I shouldn't have told her the truth!" I hit the steering wheel a few times before leaning against the chair. I don't have an idea about what happened to Alessandra. I never thought that she had a poor health condition.
I glanced at the seat beside me where my phone rings inside my purse. I picked it up and answered the call.
"Meredith, where are you?! Tito Adriano called me... Something happened at the party..."
I shook my head repeatedly as my tears fel.
"Alessandra is..." I said in my trembling voice.
"I'm coming for you..." Ellwood said in a sharp breathe.
I ended the call and went to the Villa. Just a few minutes after I got off the car, I sighted his car nearing.
He was wearing a T-shirt and black walking shorts, his hair was messy that looked like he just woke up. He haven't shave for a day so some hair grew on his face.
I didn't think twice and walked to him and embraced him in a hug. My tears fell once more.
We are sitting at the balcony with a coffee.
"What happened to Alessandra?" he started and sipped his coffee.
I shook my head and dropped my eyes. I really don't have any idea. She's fit and good. How did it happened to her?
"It's all my fault..." I uttered shakily.
He blew out a breath before placing his cup on the table.
"There is nothing wrong in telling the truth. It's her right to know the truth," he said in low tone.
I bit my lip. I'm still not convinced of what he said. What happened to Alessandra was my fault.
"God, she's innocent! It's my fault, I... I shouldn't have let my emotions take place!" My shoulder shook violently as I sobbed.
I felt Ellwood pulled me in and I buried my face to his firm chest.
"Sshh... It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself, you're both a victim here!" he comforted.
I pulled away and lifted my gaze to him.
"Gusto ko siyang makita! I–I need to know that she's okay... Please Ellie..." I pleaded.
He shook his head and cupped my cheeks. "Listen, it won't help if you go there. It will just make everything worse. You need to rest, sweetheart..." he utter softly.
I withdrew from his hold. "No, I need to see Alessandra. Please, Ellwood!"
I saw his shoulder slumped while staring at me. His eyes lingered for a moment before he wiped my tears.
"I'll talk to my friend first. He's a neurologist. Maybe we can get some information about Alessandra."
He stood up and pulled his phone from his pocket. They talked from a distance before dropping the call after a few minutes.
"What did he say?"
"He confirmed that Alessandra was admitted in the hospital. But he doesn't have an idea about her possible sickness. She's under observation right now. She haven't woke up until now." Ellwood says softly.
"Oh, God!" I covered my mouth as I sobbed.
"I need to see her, Ellwood!" I begged.
He sighed once more before nodding.

"Be sure that they won't see you. I'm sure their still mad at you. Just give me a minute to gather some information about her condition, okay?"
I nodded, hands clasped on my lap while looking at the hospital building.
Ellwood got off and entered inside. I bit my lower lip. I was still nervous until now Bumaba si Ellwood sa sasakyan at pumasok sa loob. She maybe had a serious condition. My head is hurting from thinking about what her condition might be.
Because I can't wait any longer, I went outside of Ellwood's car to find out her situation.
My lips were quivering as I walked to words the awards towards the information desk to ask.
"I'm sorry ma'am, the family's not permitting anyone to visit. Only the relatives are allowed." The girl at the desk told me.
I brushed my hair backwards in frustration. "Okay, thank you!"
I turned around and walked inside. I don't know which floor she was confined, so I decided to look around the second floor. But it was difficult.
I tried to come to the ICU and there, U saw Marcus talking to someone over the phone.
Before I could take a step, he noticed me from where I'm standing.
My lips quivered. My knees slowly weakened while he walked to me in big strides.
"What are you doing here, huh?" he whispered firmly.
I couldn't move when he grabbed my arm. His eyes were furious as his jaw clenched.
"I just want to check Alessandra..." I utter lowly.
