Chapter 20 Slandered Her
Doctor?
Bella raised her head in shock.
She just didn't feel well on her period, but the president wanted the doctor to treat her!
Any doctor would think she was wasting his time and energy.
Were these rich people used to doing this?
"President, thank you for caring so much about me. As an ordinary employee, I appreciate it. But there is no need to trouble the doctor because of such a small problem." Bella immediately refused him.
Come on, she couldn't exercise the privilege of the rich as an ordinary person.
Edward didn't like her refusal, "Just lie down and wait for the doctor to come."
Bella saw that the man named Andrew had turned around and walked out.
It meant the president really wanted the doctor to come.
Bella didn't know how she regained her strength. She sat up quickly and stood on the floor.
At this time, she was surprised to find that her lower abdomen
no longer ached.
She said loudly to Andrew, "Don't call the doctor. I'm fine now."
"Really?" Edward didn't believe her.
Bella nodded hard, "Yeah!"
To prove that she didn't lie, she jumped twice like a rabbit, "I'm so energetic now."
"President, do you still want the doctor to come?" Asked Andrew.
Before Edward spoke, Bella had run to the door, "I'm all right. Don't let the doctor come. President, I'll go back to work first."
Saying this, she waved to Edward, turned her head, and went out of the door.
After coming out of the president's office, Bella went to the bathroom first.
After flushing the toilet, Bella opened the door and walked to the washbasin.
She put her hand under the induction faucet, lowered her head, and washed her fair hand with the clear water carefully.
After rinsing the foam, Bella withdrew her hand and turned off the tap. She wiped the water off her hands with a tissue and looked up casually.
She saw a man's face in the mirror.
Before Bella could scream, the man behind her tightly covered her mouth and dragged her into the toilet compartment nearest to the washbasin.
The man was stronger than her. Her body hung in the air, and only her toes touched the ground. The man held her upper body at ease, and she had no way to struggle.
The door was the compartment was locked. Bella couldn't see anything outside the compartment.
"David? Why are you here?" Bella finally saw David's angry face.
She knew she was in danger, so her voice trembled. David blocked the door with his body, and she could only try to step back.
"Are you a prostitute?" David gritted his teeth and questioned her like a mad husband who had been betrayed by his wife.
He stared at Bella's frightened face, "I underestimated you. I didn't expect that you could seduce the president."
Bella leaned against the wall of the compartment. She was afraid and furious.
David came to the women's bathroom and slandered her.
What exactly does he want from her?
"He's my boss, and we work together. Our relationship is not as dirty as you think!" Bella retorted loudly.
David sneered, "Prostitutes also think they are working. How many times did you sleep with him before you worked at Skytel? Ten? Twenty?"
Bella grabbed the tissue next to her and threw it at David, "Watch your mouth! Your heart is dirtier than the toilet!"
She remembered what she had seen in the parking lot that day.
David had cheated on his wife, but he thought she had a love affair with the president and slandered her.
"What did you say?" David gritted his teeth, "You're a prostitute who has sex for money. How dare you scold me?"
He looked at Bella's face and began to untie his trousers, "Anyway, you have sex in exchange for money, don't you? I can pay you right now."
Bella bit her lip helplessly in fear, and her red lips turned pale. As she relaxed her bite, her lips became red again.

She raised her head. The hatred in her eyes frightened David, and he stopped.
"You'd better kill me!" Bella looked straight into David's eyes, "As long as I get out of here alive, I will tell everyone about it, and you'll pay the price!"
David looked at her sarcastically, "I'm a director of the company, but you're just an assistant. Do you know the gap between us?"
Bella was determined to fight a rearguard action. She forgot about her fear and concerns, "I'm a nobody indeed, and you're powerful, rich, and you have a perfect marriage."
Instead of shrinking back like before, she took a step closer to David.
Her heels stepped on the ground and made a clear sound, "I have nothing to lose. What about you? Are you sure you can bear the risk of losing everything? Are you sure you want to lose your job because of a nobody like me?"
Bella clenched her fists and straightened her back, telling herself not to shrink back.
She knew David would rape her without hesitation as long as she showed her weakness.
She was betting that David valued money and status more than anything.
The fact proved that she was the winner.
David stepped back and opened the door behind him.
"You shameless crazy woman!" Although he was unwilling to give up, he glared at Bella and left madly.
After making sure that he had walked far away, Bella lost all her strength and sat back on the toilet.
She looked up at the ceiling. Tears of humiliation ran down her cheeks.
In the office, Lanny sat behind her desk. A young girl stood in front of her with her head lowered.
Lanny smashed the document at her, "How dare you show me such trash? Do you want me to kick you out of the company?"
"I'm so sorry." The girl didn't dare to defend herself. She had to squat down and pick up the documents on the ground while apologizing.
Lanny always lost her temper these days. Every day, employees went out of her office, crying.
The girl sighed softly.
She tried her best to finish this document. However, Lanny scolded her mercilessly.
A piece of paper fell beside Lanny's high heels, and the girl reached for it.
Lanny raised her shiny high-heeled shoe gently. The girl watched helplessly as she stepped on the back of her hand hard.
She burst into tears out of humiliation and pain.
Lanny looked at the humble girl with a sneer, "No men are here. Why are you crying? There's no need to pretend to be weak."
She picked up the pen on the desk and knocked on the girl's forehead, "I want to see a new document before I get off work. If you can't finish it, hand in your resignation letter."
Watching the girl run out of the office, Lanny finally felt better.
Yes, she vented her anger on the girl on purpose.
If this poor girl wanted to blame anyone, she should blame Bella.
Thinking that the president was so kind to Bella, she was pissed off.
What qualifications did Bella have to accept the president's kindness?

Lanny's chest was blazing with the flames of fury. She was out of her mind.
