Traizle
When we got home, Lyndon and I stayed quiet for a while. Neither of us tried to talk to our home. Layzen fell asleep too.
I broke the silence. "Thank you, Lyndon."
"You deserve to know it after all," Lyndon answered. "When we were still young, I do not have the plan to tell you. When I heard it too, I was so shocked that I could not believe it at first." he added.
He must have been so shocked at that time. Learning secrets you are not allowed to learn is pretty shocking.
"I thought, why should I tell you? You are the only one who cares about us. I was scared that if you learned the truth, you would leave us," he said. "We should be the ones who need to thank you. Without you, we don't know what will happen to us." he added.
I smiled. "I won't dare do that," I answered. "You are still my brothers, and no one can erase that. I don't expect this either, that the person in business with Zarsuelo is my real Dad."
"I don't want to hide the truth when my mother tries to harm you. I can't bear to see you let go of your happiness. You have been working too hard for us, and I can't stand doing nothing to help you as the second oldest person in our family." Lyndon explained.
Both Lyndon and Layzen are so mature, to the point that I can't see any traces of being a child. What we are facing helps them to be more mature and more understanding. I am glad they did not cause trouble besides bickering and teasing each other.
"Your girlfriend will be lucky to have you." I teased.
"Nah, finding one is not right now." he answered.
"You don't like someone in your class or school? Is there no one who can make you like her?" I asked.
Isn't it too impossible?
When I was in high school, my friends and I had each other's crushes. We will wait for them to cross our room. We will leave chocolates if it's valentine's day, etc.
"No one." he answered. He was looking away from me.
Something is fishy.
"You have someone you like, aren't you?" I asked again.
He still keeps looking away from me.
This kid, indeed, likes someone.
"Based on your reaction, I can already say you like someone," I told him. "Pursue her, or else someone may get her from you. You should be brave like you told Mr. Andrade the truth." I added.
"Mr. Andrade is different." Lyndon retorted.
"Ask your friends for help." I suggested.
He shakes his head immediately. "No, asking for your friends' help is far better. They will just ruin things." he firmly replied.
Maybe he tried to ask for their help, but his friends ruined his plan.
"Find a better friend, then." I mocked him.
He glared at me. "They are not just better at dealing with those kinds of things. We are experts at playing online games rather than googling our eyes for girls." he reasoned.
"Now you admitted that you are playing too many online games," I sermon. "You know it yourself, so better minimize it and go after her. I wanna see you have a girlfriend and act like a timid person beside her." I added.
"Why? Does Matthew do that?" He retorted.
I grimaced. "You know who he is. You won't be able to make him shy or anything. He is full of confidence whenever and wherever he is." I answered.
"Yes, he's already called Mr. Andrade, Dad, and asked for your hands. He is too serious. It would help if you did not let go of him." he said.
"I really should not," I answered. "Let's sleep, and we still have work and classes tomorrow." I told him.
Yesterday morning, while on my way to Grand Finance. Tyler called me, saying the news about us had already gone public. I am thankful enough that they did not publicize my name.
I am ready to face them. I am. Although, it may affect Zarsuelo's company.
When I reached Grand Finance, some reporters were waiting outside the company. I walked naturally and entered the company.
"Tyler, is Zarsuelo here?" I asked him.
"Not yet, how about you? Are you ready?" Tyler asked.
I nodded. "I should be. I think my mother did this, but not unless one of you reported it." I said.
Tyler immediately shakes and waves his hands in disagreement with what I have said.
"I won't dare do that. You guys are my friends. How could I do that to you?" Tyler explained.
I laughed. "Thank you," I said. "I did not mean it either, but I know you guys won't do it." I added.
"And also, I did not know the story about your mom. You should tell me about it next time." he said.
I nodded. "Apart from my mother, you guys need to know too. Get ready. I am sure you will be shocked by my announcement too." I replied.
"If it is marrying Mr. Zarsuelo—"
"It is not that one." I interrupted.
"I thought it was." Tyler answered, holding his nape.
"Let's talk later," I told him. "If Zarsuelo is here, if he needs someone to help him, please kindly help my man, okay?" I added.
Tyler's mouth was wide open. "Woah? Bluntly telling me, huh. You are surely ready to face them head-on. That's good." Tyler answered, clapping his hands.
I went to our room office and saw the four circlings.
"What is it?" I asked them.
"Finally, Traizle, you are here! There are reporters outside. Did they ask you?" Claire asked worriedly.
"No, they didn't. How about you guys?" I asked back.
"They asked me about you. Since they did not know your name, they are asking for your name," Sonia replied. "I told them that you guys should be the ones to tell them that, not me." she added.
"Thank you." I said, thanking her.
"Are you ready to face those bashers?" Alessa asked worriedly too.
"I am not scared, and I am ready too, don't worry about it. We can handle it." I told her.
"Hey guys, Mr. Matthew is there." Alex said.
We turned to him and watched it.
"There are rumors about you that you have a girlfriend already. Is that true?" One of the reporters asked him.
"I won't lie to everyone, and yes, it is true. I have a special someone already." Zarsuelo answered, smiling proudly.
"May we know her? Is she from one of the entertainments? We also heard she is working for your company." a girl reporter asked him.
"I am sorry, but as of now, I can't answer it. We have not talked about this thing yet. I can't let you guys know her without her permission. As much as I wanted to boast and introduce them to all of you, we still need to respect her privacy, and I hope you can understand that," Zarsuelo answered. "I won't avoid you guys. All I need to do today is go to my work, talk to her, and give you our reply. Please excuse me. Thank you!" Zarsuelo said before running to his car.
He surely needs to ride in his car today.
"You are lucky to have Mr. Zarsuelo as your boyfriend, Traizle." Alex commented.
"I wanted to have a boyfriend who could do that too. It is romantic." Alessa added.
"Mr. Zarsuelo likes to boast about everything he can boast about." Claire said.
"We have been working for him for years, and doing that no longer makes us wonder." Sonia added.
That's how oddball Zarsuelo is.
