The minute her lips open and I hear her breathlessly sigh, my pants become tighter and threaten to cut off the circulation to my ever-growing member. With this in mind, I can’t let myself go there right now. First, I need to know if she is trying to trick me or if she has really turned the corner and is settling into this awkward situation.
Also, here’s the thing. I want her so bad right now that I could rip her clothes off and make wild, passionate love to her all night. But there is something holding me back. I must be in control and if she is tricking me again, I will never live this down. Not to mention, my ego will be bruised for quite a while.
So, with all this floating around my brain, I take a deep breath and grab a handful of her silky hair. With my right hand, I cup her chin tightly and take her lips in mine before kissing her deeply. My tongue forces its way in and yet she doesn’t fight me. It’s almost as if her mouth is saying, yes please. The best part is that she tastes like honey.
We kiss for only a moment, but it feels like time stands still. When I stare into her eyes, I see the promise of something that I have never experienced before, and it scares me a little. Then she does a funny little thing with her mouth.
I swear it sounds like she moans, but then she cuts it off and closes her eyes tightly before pulling back. Did she just have second thoughts? Or did she realize that if we kept going the way we were, she would have no choice but to let me plunge deep into her as I hover over her body in the heat of the moment?
The scariest part of all of this for me at least, is that I am sure now beyond any reason of doubt, that I love her. Because if anyone else had just did this to me, I would have shoved them down on the bed or tied them up and took what I wanted. After all, I am the king.
Watching her sitting there, I sit back and relax as I lean with my hands behind me, and my arms locked. This way I get a bird’s eye view of her back. I have always admired the gentle curves of a woman’s back, the way it curves where the shoulder blades connect. As I sit there, I imagine running my fingers up her spine and then kissing softly where my fingers left.
Smiling or rather smirking, I can’t help but wonder what she is thinking right now. Is she scared? Or is she as turned on right now as I am? I mean she must know that I am sitting here with a giant erection just begging to be touched by her feminine hands.
After sitting here for a few minutes longer, I clear my throat and sit forward before grabbing her attention. “A penny for your thoughts.” I state just above a whisper.
It must startle her because she jumps up off the bed and rushes into the bathroom. I do note that she doesn’t run, she just walks quickly. That is a start at least. If she were truly afraid of me still, she would have launched herself full force into the bathroom and slammed the door shut before locking it.
So, with heavy heart, I sit there for a minute longer. I run my tongue over my lips where I still taste her. “Mm. Still tastes like honey. So sweet.” I whisper before rising off the bed and walking over to the bathroom to find out what is wrong with her.
When I approach the door, I start to hear something, so I place my ear on the door and it tells me exactly what I suspected. I hear her crying softly. Some how I have hurt her, and the worst part is I don’t have a clue how. All I did was kiss her.
“Arabella, come out right now.” I say like someone trying to coax a small child out of a hiding place. Then I wait to see if she replies or unlocks the door.
She shows no sign of hearing me, so I raise my voice a little. “Arabella, please come out. I won’t hurt you.”
Hearing movement inside, I step back to allow her to open the door. When she doesn’t, I grow disappointed and start to feel like this is hopeless, and I might as well just leave her alone for the rest of the night. I turn to leave and sigh loudly, just before she opens the door and walks out.
As I get the feeling that she is tricking me, I stare at her naked body lustfully. However, I don’t act upon my thoughts, because I know it will have consequences that will haunt me later. She has something up her sleeve and one way or another she will try to leave if I get caught with my pants down willingly like this. I can see it in the way she is looking at me.
And then there it is. I hear a knock at the door and someone yelling for me.
“Knock”
“Knock”
“King Julian, please. We have an emergency.”
Hurrying, I lead her hurriedly to the bathroom and shut it before I answer whoever is at the door. The minute I open it, I recognize the teenage boy. Beta Casper is standing there with his claws out and his eyes aglow.
“King Julian. I am so sorry, but they told me to come fetch you before the man escaped from captivity.”
He sounds kind of scared of me when he says this, but I turn to him and smile before asking, “Who?”
“Someone is here looking for the girl in your room. He said his name was Robert and he is Arabella’s father. He had also said that when he tracked her phone, it led him here to the castle. So, he knows that she was here at least a few days ago if not now.” Sounding even more scared than before, I try to comfort him by patting him on the back and joking around on the way down to the man standing in the courtyard.
As we approach Arabella’s father, I notice something about him. He has an arrogance about him that irritates me. After all, who is he? A man and that is it.
I hear him telling several of my people, “Help me find her. I am very aware that you all know where she is, and if you don’t tell me I will have the cops here in a heartbeat. Just you wait and see.”
Just after I hear him threatening them, I walk up behind him and place my hand on his shoulder before looking down into his eyes. When he looks up at me, I can see the fear in them, and he starts to say something. However, he quickly shuts his mouth and doesn’t say a damn thing. Instead, he just stares back at me. I am guessing that it’s because he fears what I will do to him.
I calmly state, “I have heard that you are looking for Arabella. Is she missing?”
“Yes, my daughter is. Are you Julian? I know she had a date with you and then she has come up missing. She never came home afterwards. When I tracked her phone, it says this was the last known address.” He still stares into my eyes as I can sense that he wants to ask me something else while he is at it.
“I am Julian. We did have a date several days ago, but I lose track of the time around here. As you can see, this is a busy place. The last time I saw here, she was in front of your house after I dropped her back off again. I am sorry that she has come up missing. I know teenagers do that sometimes however.” I pause and take a deep breath before continuing. “Perhaps you should file a police report and see where that leads. Although, I am sure that she has just run off with a Chris, I believe she had mentioned several times to me. A kid at her school I believe. We are just friends, but I think she wanted much more from him. If you find her, do tell her to call me so I know she is alright.”
Shaking my head, I release my tight grip on his shoulder and give him a warning look before turning to leave. When I hear that he isn’t moving, I stop and turn back around. “Were there any other questions before you leave?”
With a curious look on his face, he shakes his head no and then I watch as he walks back out the gate and down to his car. Then and only then, do I make my way back up to Arabella’s room. This time when I unlock her door, she is laying on top of her covers sprawled out naked with a come hither look on her face and her lips open.
