Juliana's pov:
I could hear some noises outside, opening my eyes, I noticed that I was back in my old slave room.
I quickly sat upright on the cold floor where I was lying, confusion clouded my vision.
How did I get here? The last time that I remembered, I was in Ryan's room.
"Ryan!" I said in a hurry.
I wonder how he is doing by now, I stood up and hurried down the hallway toward his room.
On reaching his room, I noticed that his door was locked. I glanced around thoughtfully before rushing to his office but still, it was locked.
I decided to go ask Queen Rebecca if she might have seen Ryan.
I could feel a nagging pain in my heart, the pain was much but I paid no attention to it.
My mind was screaming for me to go back and not to go near Queen Rebecca's chamber but I ignored the feelings and shook off the restlessness.
Almost to her chamber, I could hear her laugh and that of Ryan.
Joy sneaked into my face as I heard his voice, so he is fine.
I hurried to the door and suddenly pulled it open when grinning ear to ear. I noticed him sitting at the extreme end of the room with Liam and Bianca beside him.
Entering inside, they all snap their heads in my direction. I watched as Queen Rebecca's face crushed in disgust with Bianca giving me the same look.
Liam stared at me with nothing but pity. I wonder what the issue could be about.
I suddenly felt the nagging pain again but I ignored it and walked over to Ryan who kept studying my every move.
"Ryan!" I squealed and tried hugging him but he stopped me before I could move forward to him confusing me.
"Who are you," He yelled.
My legs went weak at his outburst, and before I knew it tears started spurning from my eyes.
"Ryan…….. What are you talking about?" My lips trembled as I asked him.
What is happening? Someone should talk to me before I lose it.
"Is it that you are deaf or what……… I asked you who you are because you looked familiar,"
"Mom!" He turned to Queen Rebecca who had a devilish smile on her face.
"Who is she?"
His question breaks me, did he not remember me?
"Why are you a nuisance?" I shot my eyes at Bianca who had her hands placed on Ryan's shoulder.
My throat burned at the sight, she had a triumphant smile on her lips. My heart breaks as I glanced at every one of them.
"Ryan, remember me…… Ashley, please," I cried out as I noticed his gaze on me.
"That name is also familiar but I couldn't place a finger where I have heard it before," he said thoughtfully.
"She is a nobody, just ignore her," I stared at Queen Rebecca with tears in my eyes.
How could they be so cruel? How can Ryan not remember me?
"The only Ashley that I know is," I watched with horror as Queen Rebecca pointed his finger at Bianca.
I wiggled my head as I stared at him, tears rushing down my face.
What is she talking about? This is Bianca that she is pointing at.
My heart hurts as I look at her.
We had a great time, was that nothing for him!
He called me his heartbeat and said that he will always protect me but now he is contributing to my pain.
He said that he loved me but right now he has another girl in his arms.
I shook my head with my hand half covering my mouth as I staggered back in pain.
"Mom! Why is she crying?" He seemed confused
"Don't worry about what I will do with her," she assured him with a small smile, earning a sigh from him.
My body shivered as my lips trembled in pain, I almost lost balance but before Liam could save me from falling. I sped out of the room, I noticed someone running after me but I ignored the presence and kept running through the hallway.
"Ashley," I felt someone yank me back.
Looking with tears in my eyes, I noticed that it was Liam.
"I am sorry for what happened in there,"
I opened my mouth to talk but instead, a sob escaped my throat pulling me to my feet.
I felt him swallow before he looked at me, "Ryan lost his memory after waking up," he blurted, causing me to snap my head at him.
"Ryan lost his memory so please I beg you understand," he said.
"I am sure that you guys bond are strong for it to help him recover his memory fast,"
"He just needs some time to recover the memories,"
"I know that it will be hard for you but……..
"He lost his memory," he nodded at me.
"He lost his memory but he remembered every one of you!" I yelled with pain.
I watched as his Adam's apple bobbed up and down before he tilted his neck to the other side.
"You stand here to tell me that he lost his memory when he could vividly remember you all," I shook my head in doubt as more tears rolled out of my eyes.
"He called you the first time that he woke up but Bianca claimed that it was her name and……
"Is she not your sister?" I cut him in.
"She is but I know what you two feel for each other,"
"We feel nothing because all these things mattered less to him," I said before turning around to leave.
"Ashley, he loves you, just give him a chance!!"
I ignored his words and kept walking with pain and grief, I felt numb as everything around me doesn't make sense to me.
He forgot about us within a twinkle of an eye!
I thought that he loved me but he lost memories of us.
