Juliana's pov:
Having finished with my duty, I strode toward Ryan's room to see him.
I pushed his door open and walked in, I stared around but I couldn't see him. I stride toward the direction that leads to his bathroom.
I peeped inside but I couldn't see anybody. I walked around his room but I couldn't see any trace of him.
If he is not around then why should he leave his room door open?
I glazed my eyes thoughtfully but I couldn't get my finger on what exactly it was. I shook my head and sighed before plopping myself onto his king-size bed.
But something slid on my head before I could even make it to the bed.
"Maybe he is in his office," I thought.
I smiled, anyway, a little surprise won't hurt. I started striding to his office despite the aching pain in my heart, and the feeling that something bad might happen.
I sighed and shove away the negative feelings aside and proceeded to where I was going, which was no other than Ryan's office.
On my way I noticed someone calling me from behind, turning around, I suddenly felt choked.
I noticed the air around me was stifled.
"Li…..Liam," I stammered.
"Calm down, dear," I was stunned by his words.
"How have you been?"
"Gee……Gr…… I mean
" Hmmm….. Just calm down," he gestured for me to release my breath and feel relaxed.
"I don't bite, dear," he assured with a genuine smile.
I was aghast at him, like seriously is he smiling at me, like a genuine smile?
"Come on, stop looking at me like that," he laughed.
"I know that you must have seen a lot of Ryan smiles," he arched his eyes with a teasing smile.
"Gosh!....." I laughed.
"Better to see that smile than those scary eyes you were hurling at me," he teased.
"Hmmm," I smiled.
He is not bad after all, just a bit scary if you haven't had a word with him.
"It seems like you are in a hurry to go somewhere," I nod at him.
"Fine! I will get straight to the point," he straight himself when clearing his voice, his facial expression turned serious.
I shrink back at his facial expression earning a chuckle from him.
"As I said, I don't bite," he chuckled.
"So where are you going?"
"I'm looking for the king," I mumbled.
"The king!"
"Yes," I wonder why he seemed shocked or if there was something that he was not telling me.
"Come on, which one is king, I know you do address him by his name,"
"Come on, be free around me, I don't bite," he repeats the last word severally till he is assured that it has sunk in my brain.
"Yeah," I smiled, "I do call him his name,"
"I know, so you are looking for him?"
"Yeah,"
"So let me not held you back then,"
"I just wanted to appreciate you for Ryan," he said.
"What about him…… what do you mean?"
"I can see your handwork on him,"
"You are making him a better person, and I want to show my appreciation," he smiled.
"Am glad to hear that, thanks," I mumbled.
We stood there for a couple of hours without saying any words, it was a comfortable one but I wanted to go and see Ryan. I have the urge to go and see him.
"Hmmm……" he cleared his throat.
"I think that you have to go now," he dismissed.
"Yeah, I think so," I mumbled in one go.
Turning around we parted ways, I started striding toward Ryan's office.
Oh! I forget to ask Liam if Ryan was at his office but anyway where could he be apart from his office?
Nowhere! I chipped in with joy and started walking.
Stopping in front of his office, I told the guards that he requested my presence. He didn't ask me different questions because they already heard about our relationship, probably from someone or somewhere.
I pushed open the door and walked in, I glanced around the office and couldn't see any trace of him except hand-roughed papers tossed around.
A load of files stocked in the center of his desk, and the chairs are scattered around.
"Doesn't he allow omegas to clean here?"
" Or is it that no one was assigned to work here?"
I sighed not that I will even be happy to see another she-wolf having here as her duty.
If she starts working here then that means that only she gets to be seeing my Ryan steadily and I don't want another eye seeing what was mine.
I inched closer and started arranging every single thing there, I started by dusting off the couch. I arranged the throw pillow and moved to his desk and started arranging the files.
I bent down and picked up the tossed papers and moved them to the trash can before moving again to the desk to get it arranged.
Amidst the arrangement, I noticed something like a picture stuck almost in between a book as I pulled the side drawer open.
It looks like the person was doing fast and didn't remember to put it very well.
I placed it back but with the act of curiosity, I pulled the drawer open and slid out the book.
I suddenly felt a nagging pain in my heart as I tried to bring out the picture, my heart started pacing so fast that I could feel my pulse.
Part of me was yelling for me to stand up and leave but I needed to see what had made me this worked up.
My eyes rolled back in my head as I stared at the picture. It was a picture of a woman, smiling brightly with pink long flowy hair.
The woman was no other but my real self.
Me........!
My hand vibrates as my eye glances at the write-up.

Tears roll down my eyes, what does it mean?
What is this? My leg felt shaky as my whole body went rigid at the chair that I was sitting on.
So that means that Ryan was the person behind those posters in the woods. He wanted me dead!
Tears were sliding freely down my cheeks, I started hearing footsteps and some voices outside and I already knew who they were.
It is Ryan and Liam, and they are coming inside here. I quickly put the picture inside the book and slid it inside.
I wiped my tears and stood up immediately but before I could open the door, it was yanked open by them.
Their eyes went wide as they stared at me.
