Jackson’s P.O.V
I parked my car up and started to walk towards the club, when I noticed some other bodyguards entering the club, but this time they were mine.
I rolled my eyes at the thought of them, I asked them not to follow me, but they were dogs and secretly followed me. I knew they would not come inside and so I just ignored them, but as soon as i got close to the club a girl came out and upon seeing her in this place, I knew who she was.
I kept looking at her, but my mind had gone completely blank, she looked really familiar and then I remembered that Jacob had showed me a picture of Sara with her friends, I had memorized their faces straight away, but the one girls face made me shudder, she looked exactly like someone I hated the most.
Jacob had told me that the girl's name was Mia and I never expected to meet her so soon, especially not like this. I did not enter the club straight away and instead took four steps back to let her come out. I was blankly staring at her, she was wearing high heels and was tripping all over the place, it was obvious she was drunk. She was carrying a hip flask in one hand and her phone in the other hand, it was continuously ringing, but she did not answer it. She looked absolutely miserable and she was that drunk she was going to end up falling over soon.
It was peaceful outside the club, but she was looking down at her phone completely lost that she did not even see me standing in front of her. I stepped out of her path so that she would not bump into me and hurt herself, she slowly walked into the parking lot, still looking at her phone.
Her phone was still ringing, but she still did not answer it and instead carried on drinking out of her hip flask and looking at her phone. Her phone went silent and then started ringing again, but she suddenly stopped, looked at the screen and started laughing like a crazy person.
She threw the phone to the ground and looked at the now broken screen. I have no idea why she did it or what she was planning to do next, when suddenly she started crushing it under the heel of her shoe. I was shocked to see how ruthless she was with her phone, she looked so angry and I had no idea why, but when I looked back at her face, tears were streaming down her cheeks.
She was sad and upset, but she was trying not to let it show and immediately wiped the tears from her face. She started jumping up and down on her phone and after completely destroying it she started walking, but it looked like she was about to collapse. I quickly ran over to her and caught her just as she was about to fall. She closed her eyes and it was obvious that she wasn't unconscious, she was just extremely tired, fatigue was visible all over her face.
“Are you okay?” I asked her, but as soon as she heard me speak she opened her eyes and looked up to me. It was obvious that everything was blurry because of how much she had drunk and she started to quickly blink to try and focus her vision. I held onto her tightly when she began to stagger, but she seemed to get angry about this.
“How dare you grab me and touch me.” Mia said and tried to push me away from her, but she was too weak from all the alcohol she had consumed. She tried to pull away from me, but her legs were wobbly and it was obvious she was going to fall the second I let her go, so I did not budge an inch. It felt strange holding her like this, especially since we haven't even met each other properly yet.
“You were about to fall so i caught you.” I replied and tried to convince her that I would not hurt her. I looked down at her feet and she could barely stand up straight, let a lone walk. It was obvious that she had too much to drink and from the way she stomped on her phone, it looked like she was to forget something or someone.
“Did not I give you everything you wanted? Why you come now? Why you harassing me and calling me over and over and over again? Go away and leave me the hell alone!” Mia shouted at me, slurring her words to the point that they were barely understandable.
It made sense now, she was mistaking me for someone else, the person on that kept ringing her. She was so angry with the person who was calling her that she crushed her own phone to make it stop. There were quite a few people coming out of the club now and they were all staring at Mia and listening to how drunk she was.
“Hey, look how drunk that girl is.” One of the men said to his friend and pointed at mia. As soon as I heard them I moved closer to Mia, trying in a way to protect her.
“Where is your house? Where do you live? I will give you a lift home.” I asked her, but soon wondered why I was asking her this. I knew I should go inside to meet Daniel and my friends, after all we had not seen each other in years, but I could not leave her here, not like this, anything could happen to her.
“I told you not to touch me and don't you dare follow me.” Mia shouted at me and it made me angry at how stubborn she was. I already hated her after seeing her picture and I do not even know why I was talking to her or why I wanted to help this unknown girl.
“FINE! GO! I DON'T CARE!” I shouted back and left her. I started to walk towards the club and just as I got near the door I looked back at her. She was still standing there and looking straight at me, I turned back to the club again and Mia turned towards the exit.
