~P: up for a date tonight? -P
She is seated on her bed reading a book she took from her Dad’s shelf, he always tells her reading gives you knowledge in some ways. Most successful people read lots and lots of books and he encourages her to do so.
Earlier, when she came out of the bathroom she heard her phone beeped and went to check who it was. She rubbed her hands against her towel to dry them a little and picked up her phone, she pressed the switch button and put her finger on the fingerprint sensor and it unlocked.
She tapped the message icon and saw at the top chat was a text from Philip, wondering why he texted at this time, just like the last time, she tapped the message and saw he sent three texts.

Up for a date tonight? -P
She looked at the screen of her phone again, oh GOD this is messed up… a lot has happened she totally forgot about Philip… she places the phone beside her on the bed and takes it up again then looks at the message again.
What will she tell him? She did start to take a liking to him, he is funny, smart, courteous, can be a bit… he is inquisitive and not an arrogant fool like someone.
Remembering him just made her blood boil, she never in a million years imagined she would do something like this, it’s absurd and to think she will have to end up with an asshole, a complete jerk...it would have been easier if it was someone else but her Dad was right ‘at least he isn’t a stranger’ she’d rather stay with a known jerk than a complete stranger. C’mon like what could possibly go wrong? They are not going to be a real couple, she is just doing it for the company and since what is presently affecting the company was mostly her fault.
She can’t let many hardworking people go jobless because of a bad decision.
Yeah, Dimitri might have an irritating attitude but he is quite an eye-catcher, he is good-looking, which even she can’t deny. If it was under a different circumstance, and he was caring and loving… loving? Doesn’t look good on him, the only people he seems to love are his parents and friends… that’s if got any, who would want to be friends with such a person?
Many thoughts ran through her mind. She didn’t realize she got another text from him, so she looked at her screen again and was about to read the text when a call came in. it was Philip.
She cleared her throat and slid the screen to pick it up.
“Hi”
“Hey Audri,” he said in his cheerful voice “How are you doing? I sent you a message, did you see it?”
She cleared her throat again “Yes, I just did. Your text came in when I just came out of the bathroom,”
“Right timing I guess,” he said with a laugh.
“Yeah, about th-”
“I really enjoyed our date last week and I am sure you did, right?” he cuts her off.
“Yes, I did Philip… bu-”
“So you would love to go on another one?”
“About that Philip…”
“You are busy?”
“No… kinda… I don’t know” she sighs and puts her head on her palm “I… I need to tell you something Philip” she finally said.
It will be for the best she told him on time rather than let him hear it outside.
“I am all ears”
“No… not on the phone… let us meet up so we can talk”
“Okay, that would be great… tomorrow?” he asks
“Uh, okay… tomorrow will be fine, I will let you know the address and time,” she tells him.
“Okay see you when I see you next” he hung up
She let out a deep breath when he disconnected the line, she can’t explain how she is currently feeling, she began thinking about the what if and what if nots of marrying Dimitri.
Maybe just maybe she could actually change him but… no man can change except he truly and willingly wants to change, can she make him a better man? Her Dad told her he wasn’t like that; it just results from his current not pleasant behavior since his brother’s passing.
His brother, speaking of him she thinks she remembers him Cade used to come over with his parents and sometimes Dimitri, they both were cute little boys… although she can’t remember all their times as children Dimitri seem to be a handful and she wondered why they believe she can put him in place and make him a better man. Like come on there are other girls out there wishing to be in her shoes and would agree to anything so far they marry the billionaire.
But why her? And coming to a conclusion that marriage will change him might not be a good decision, she thinks. ‘What if he becomes worse or doesn’t fall in love with me and likes me for m-’ she snapped from her thoughts. What in the world is she thinking? They both agreed this was going to be based on papers, but have to show the world and their parents they are in love.
‘Can I let that man touch me?’ she asks herself and shuddered, ‘he probably have a sweaty hand but they were large an--’
“Audriana what are you thinking about?” she asked aloud “He is an arrogant man, so full of himself” her lips twisted in an unpleasant manner “‘i am a good kisser’, eww what a jerk”
“Who is arrogant and so full of himself and who is that jerk?” she turned to her door to see it open and walking towards her was her friend Sofia who had her sleepover bag with her. “Who made my cheerful friend all worked up and I would want to think of Philip, but he isn’t a jerk… or is he?” Sofia asks when she sits on her friend's bed.
“Oh Sofia, you're just the person I need right now,” Audriana said and gives her friend a hug.
Sofia hugs her back and gives her back a little tap “I know you need me girl” she jokes “What’s the problem?” she asked when they part.
“I am getting married”
