“Oh, look at how you are glowing” Audriana gushed and sat on the bed close to Emily.
Emily has her bathrobe on with her hair wrapped in a towel, her cheeks were pink. Probably a blush Audriana thought.
Sofia was standing by the door with her hand crossed, she had a bored look on. She didn't want to come if Audriana had made her too.
"She is your cousin and my friend's fiancee, so it would be okay if we help get her ready for their engagement ceremony." When Sofia didn't look impressed she leaned in and whispered in her ear "Caleb could give you that new car he just purchased" upon saying that Sofia's mood had changed to be cheerful and she was grinning.
"I would take it to Florida and show that old hag what I'm made of" Sofia hugged Audriana and went to grab her coat "you're the best"
"Yeah, I know"
That's how she managed to get Sofia here.
"Is she fine?" Emily asked, looking at Sofia who was texting on her phone not bothered about who is in the room.
"Yeah, she's fine" Audriana waved it off "Probably texting her boyfriend"
"Oh okay, I thought it was because she didn't want to be here. '' Emily answered and picked up her phone to check the time.
Audriana frowned at that "Why would you think that?" She asked.
"I am guessing it's because of what happened" Emily dropped her phone and looked at Audriana.
Audriana paused from applying the nail paint on her toe then raised her head to look at her.
"What hap-" she was interrupted by the ringing of Emily's phone.
She picked it up and a smile formed on her lips.
"Sorry, it's Caleb," she said and slid the screen then put it on her ear.
Audriana nodded and continued what she was doing.
"Yes, baby," Emily said while playing with the ends of her bathrobe. "Sofia and Audriana are here also…okay" she took the phone from her ear and put it on loudspeaker "Caleb wants to say 'hi'" she tells them.
Upon hearing that Sofia raised her head and walked up to them.
"I'll call you later," she said to the phone before disconnecting the call and sitting on the bed close to Emily.
"How are you girls doing?" He asked.
"We are doing awesome" answered Audriana. "How about you? Can't wait to see your queen?" She asked teasingly.
"I am doing great and yes. I can't wait to see my Emily" they could hear some shuffling in the background "finally I could have her in my hands and not just that we would be spending the rest of our lives together" he sounded excited.
Emily blushed at that and covered her face with her free hand.
"Aww your bride is blushing, don't worry you'll see her soon...prepare for what is coming, okay?"
"Sure, what of Sofia? I haven't heard her voice yet"
Sofia looked at them both before looking at the phone.
"I am right here, Eli," she said, collecting the phone from Emily.
"How are you girl? Gotten into any trouble yet?" He asked with a laugh.
"Haha very funny, how are you? I can see that getting married is making you slightly matured" she comments
"Ha! Well your observations are not quite correct my dear, I was always matured, even before Cade left us, I was the second most responsible and matured one here" Caleb said and a snicker could be heard in the background.
"Are they with you?" Sofia already asked knowing the answer
"Yup they are...Aiden is sending kisses."
"Tell him to shove them in his nose"
"Sure I would tell him, let me leave you, girls, to do your thing, I will see you later in the evening"
"Hold up" she removed it from the loudspeaker and went towards the door as she spoke to him lightly. "Yay! That's why you remain my favorite...yeah bye see ya later"
By her reaction and the smile on her face. Mission was accomplished.
"Here you go Emily" she handed the phone over "so why don't we rush up and go to the venue," she said with a smile
Audriana just shook her head and continued what she was doing.

“Husbandman” Aiden commented when Caleb came out of the bathroom as he fixed his tie.
“How do I look?” he made a spin and adjusted his jacket
“Fantastic, Hermano,” Aiden said and walked up to him giving him a hug “I can’t believe you’ve grown so much and now soon to be married, I am glad for you man,” he said when they parted from the hug.
“Thank you, I am glad also...and please don’t make it seem like you’re way older than I am, you’re still a kid you know,” Caleb said walking towards the floor-to-ceiling mirror place beside his wardrobe.
“Whatever man, but I would be giving Emily out to you since she literally has no family” Aiden stood beside him adjusting his tie.
“Point of correction she does, but it would be better if that family didn’t come,” Caleb said matter of factly.
Aiden looked down I thought “Yeah, you are right man...but at least she has us” he smiled
“Yeah, I am glad.” he went to pick up his Rolex watch from his bedside table to wear it. “By the way, where is Dimitri, tell me he isn’t getting his ass drunk? Because if he is, I wouldn't care if it's my engagement party and beat him up” Cale said in anger.
“Chill man, I am sure he won’t be that stupid to drink now, it would be a disaster. I will go check on him, just get ready for the night and don’t bother too much about him...he is in my care okay?” Aiden walked out of Caleb’s room to look for Dimitri.
“Dude, where are you? Dimitri?” he called out when he left Caleb’s room.
He stood in the small hallway and looked to his left then to his right, before heading in the right direction. He made a turn to his left and walked past the balcony. He was a few steps away when he paused in his tracks and turned with furrowed brows walking back to the open balcony.
The dark-haired man was sitting on one of the chairs in the balcony with his legs folded on the table. His palm was under his chin and he looked as if he was in thoughts like he had so many worries and couldn't find a way to overcome them.
“Dimitri man, we’ve been looking for you,” Aiden said and walked further into the balcony and took the seat in front of Dimitri.
He patted Dimitri’s leg a bit when he didn’t acknowledge his presence and as if he was brought out of a trace, Dimitri sat up properly and looked in front of him at Aiden who had a worried look on his face.
“What’s up, man?” Aiden asked him.
Dimitri shook his head and forced a smile before handing him a brown paper envelope. Confused, Aiden collected it and opened the envelope, he brought out the files that were inside it and his eyes scanned through the documents and his eyes widened in shock.
“Thi-”
“Yes” Dimitri cuts him off.
“Oh, shit”
