TAKEN twenty six.
Flora roll on Allen's chair in the office waiting patiently for him to come. After he had dropped her yesterday, sleeping alone was hell, she kept rolling on the bed and even had to drink alcohol for her to take a sleep. She didn't drink half a glass before she got drunk and slept off, but she woke up very early with a bad hangover and just rushed to work instead. She met just the security and the receptionist at the time she came and had sent message to her boss that she was at work because she couldn't sleep. She hoped he would come early ,but if he didn't, it was fine.
She saw Allen open the door and gave a nice smile.She had not expected him so early but she was happy he came.
"How was your night" Allen asked Flora who was sitting on his chair. He could see her night was not that good, her eyes was a bit swollen and he understands what it meant to sleep alone after not being use to it
"Terrible. I wish night wouldn't come again" she replied and stood up from the seat. She suddenly paused and choke on her words.
"Are you okay?" Allen ask her in a rush.
"Yea..I.." she stammered. She couldn't take her eyes off his trouser and she didn't know how she would tell him. Wouldn't he be so embarrassed if she did, Guys are fond of psyching up their manhood and being told by a lady how it rose in public seemed pretty embarrassing. Did his girlfriend like give him a quick hand job this morning or what?
"Your trouser" she spill. She couldn't hold it, it was not like she was attracted to him. He was her boss and if someone else had seen it. It would be very bad. What if someone had?
Allen looked down at his trouser, his zip was down and his hard on was obvious in the boxer he wore. Thank God he drove here, how could he not notice. Grr. Stella. How could she leave a sign that they had something. What if Marcus had entered just when he left his room. What would have happened.
"Oh my God" he quickly zip up. "I'm so sorry" he hurriedly apologized dropping his bag in the desk and zipping his trouser well.
"What are you apologizing. Its fine" she chuckled awkwardly
He raised his head to her "Ain't you like underage or something? You weren't meant to see this"
She gave a slight chuckle and an embarrassed laugh. "That's not true" she tried to say.
Well, maybe it was!
"Anyways. I would love to have late dinner with my boss tonight. Is that okay?" she asked with a smile. His countenance changed and he gave a deep frown.
"You're not entitled to that Flora. Keep your distance" he spat.
She least expected that reaction. She paused and bit her lips. "I'm sorry" she quickly apologized. Allen's friendliness starts getting in her head. She missed Yvonne. That was the main thing, she couldn't bare staying alone from now, she didn't know how she would handle it. Maybe making friends with Allen was the next step. But it might not work. Her boss would always be her boss. She also didn't want any form if disrespect later in the future. But she craved company oresehtkt. Uvinne was leaving a big space.
"I will go now" she said, she walked to the door but she stopped when Allen talked
"Let's make it a real date Flora, but you wouldn't be wearing this" Allen said and she turned and smile. "Yes boss!" she gave a funny salute and walk out.

Marcus cuddled Jenifer more, she was so heartbroken about Jane's death he didn't know how to console her. She wouldn't stop crying, they've gone through several processing on how to bury Jane and he has been there with full support. But Jenifer needed him more. He didn't know how to go home too. He had called Stella in the morning and informed about Jane's death, but for how long would he stay with Jenifer. According to Stella, he's in no position to do that. How would he shift his attention. He wanted to start over his marriage and his friend is in need of him too.
Jenifer was speechless, she wished she had seen Jane before she died, she wished she could support her friend,hold her hands, assure her that it would be okay. Jane has been through a lot, it was too much for her to handle, she just wished a lot of things. But she was not going to relent in sending Jane's boyfriend to jail, after so many abortion she had for him, the last one was her death sentence. She wished Jane had informed her earlier before coming to her office to tell her about the abortion that day. She cursed herself for having a nice time with Marcus when her friend was in trouble. If Marcus wasnt waiting outside her office, maybe she would have helped Jane by now. It sucks. Its really sucks

Allen couldn't believe his eyes when Flora walked into the eatery, she was not that Flora at work, she really looked beautiful and different with such feminine etiquette from a distance, she looked around and he was proud to wave at her to come over to the seat he was.
"Damn Flora!" he laughed as she sit
"Well what's wrong this time around boss?" she chuckled sitting appropriately.
"Where's the Flora I know. This is not you!" They both laughed at his hysteric compliment. Was he just noticing how pretty she looked.
"Its been long I went for an official date. Can we start boss?" she click the glass with the fancy ring she wore.
