Her eyes was swollen as she had cried countless times in her office after class was over. She struggled with her keys back as she opened the door and ran back into her office. She shivered nervously. She didn't want to see him at the same time wanted to. She felt too weak in front of him and she would break down if he came any closer, but as much as she wanted not to see him, it was a huge lie.
Marcus ran after Jenifer into her office, he saw her standing there rubbing her palms together nervously, she was pacing few steps from her original position and this time, he locked the door himself ,removed the keys and dropped it in the trashcan in her office.
"Why did you do that?" Jenifer managed to ask
"You're not leaving here. Not until you hear what I have to say!"
"I don't appreciate you sneaking up on me. Since when have you been outside my office!"
"Since forever. I would stay longer only to make you hear my own side of the story."
"There's nothing to talk about Marcus."
"-Only I wanna do the talking.." he said. She shuts her mouth and close her eyes. What was he planning to talk about. How he would not he able to do this with her because of how much he loves his wife, how he wants to leave her alone just like the way she asked him to. She wasn't ready to hear it.
"What I said earlier. I meant it Jenifer. I feel the same way you feel. The attraction, connection everything.
