CHERRY'S POV
Its just two hours and forty five minutes precisely and I'm already bored.
Switching on the TV, my cell phone vibrates with an incoming call, and without even looking at it, I put the phone in my ears.
"Hello." I say, and Jeanne's voice comes through.
"Hey what's up." She asks me and I reply, "How are you, have you arrived already."
"Yeah, of course, missing me?" She asks and I just laugh, as I reply, "Yes, you don't know how bored I am right now."
"Well, the hotel I am in right now, should be the best, I mean everything here is top notch, the bed I am currently lying on is so comfy, you know." I hear her squeak from the other end, and I chuckle, "Yeah, right enjoy yourself."
"I'm wondering what other rooms look like, but I really like this one, it has my favorite designs and color also." She says so sharply.
"How can you talk so fast, without pausing and yet still not make a mistake." I ask her teasingly.
"Well maybe that's because I'm a rap legend." She says boastfully, and I laugh so hard.
"I can't wait to go around LA for a start, this beautiful city, I'll do a tour before I start my work."
"Yeah right, and not with a car you know, explore the city with your feets, you are surely going to enjoy yourself." I tell her and she hums a yes.
"Make sure you get something for me, maybe a perfume, sexy lingerie, you know, anything you know I'll like."
"Did you get anything for me, when you left too." She asks me and I roll my eyes.
"Well, I'm not like you, trust me I'll get you something even without you telling me. I was just teasing you." She says and I smile.
"Whatever, I think you need to rest, let me leave you, I'll call you later, bye." I tell her, and she gives me a kissing sound and cuts the call.

JEANNE'S POV
I think it's time for meet to meet Jayson so we can discuss whatever he wants to tell me.
I know if Cherry finds out about this, something I pray will never happen, she's going to literally and physically kill me.
I just want her to be happy, and I know despite all the cold attitude and facade she displays, lies a soul desperately yearning for love, I know that even if she refuses to admit it.
I know Jayson made a mistake in the past, but I think helping him fix the problem will be better for the both of them.
Dressing up, I put on an off shouldered green gown, which stops at my knee, wear my wristwatch, pack my hair into a ponytail, apply little makeup and pick my small clutch purse.
I wear purple heels, and come out and my driver is already waiting for me.
"Afternoon ma'am." He greets me, bowing his head slightly and I answer, "Good morning Gideon, how are you today?" I ask with a smile.
"Fine ma'am, going somewhere?" He asks me and I nod a yes.
"Actually take me to the Cortex company." I say and get into the car, he gets in to, turns on the ignition and we hit the road.

JAYSON'S POV
I am in my office, checking some files and other stuffs when I receive a call from my manager, "Hello."
"Hello Sir, I think we'll have to go to Orlando for a business meeting."
'Orlando, Orlando. That's Cherry's city, and if I go there I'll surely find a way to see her. I miss her so much. I just want to see her face even if she's mad at me.
Oh! I have her pictures, but that's not even enough.
Speaking to my manager on the line I ask again, "For what? Which business meeting is that?"
"Well, Jobpull investment services set a meeting at that place with other corporations and share holders just like us." He explains quickly.
"Oh, okay so when is this meeting scheduled to take place?" I ask, "Tomorrow evening." He answers and sighing I reply while rubbing my neck frustratingly, "Oh okay, prepare the necessary things and book the flight early and ahead of time okay."
He mumbles a yes sir and I cut the call.
A knock sounds at my door, "Yes, come in."
Johnson my assistant and one of my trusted confidante comes in and greets me with a slight bow, "Good morning sir."
Going straight to the point, not wanting any stress I ask, "Yes what is it?"
"Someone is here to see you." He says.
I'm not expecting anyone, so I ask, "Who's the person.”
"It's a Miss Jeanne." He says and suddenly I develop goosebumps all over and open my eyes wide.
'She's really here, she really came.' I think to myself, talking to my assistant I say, "Okay, let her in quickly." I say and as he goes out, I go to the office mirror, check appearance, smoothing my hair, I mentally check my self and loosening up, I sit on my chair.
No fewer than a minutes later a beautiful young light skinned lady, walks into my office.
"Morning Jayson." She says politely.
"Um, good morning Jeanne right, how are you?" I ask quite a bit nervously, this is the first time we are speaking face to face, and I'm kind of shy.
"I'm fine, thank you so much." She says and I offer her a seat, while I go to the fridge to get a chilled drink for her along with some snacks.
Placing them on the table before her, I sit opposite her.
"Thank you so much once again, how are you doing now?" She asks and I sigh as I reply, "I'm doing fine physically but I'm not doing so great mentally. You can call me an incomplete guy, because the only thing that completes me, which is Cherry is not by my side. Our friendship is gone, she doesn't wants to have anything to do with me, my mere sight irritates her. i don't even know what to do anymore."
Hearing the pain in my voice and probably having sympathy for me, she places her palm on my hands from across the table and says soothingly, "I know how you feel, but why did you leave her like that in the first place. Do you ever think of the loneliness she felt, or the pain she had to go through after your abrupt leave."
"It's not like I wanted to leave her, it's a long story you won't understand." I say sighing.
"Then make me understand, oh okay even if you think I won't understand, how do you intend to explain everything to her? Do you think she'll just forgive you without you telling her the truth about why you left her back then?" She asks me.
I rub my forehead and start to say something but she interrupts me as she continues, "You gave her so much hope at that time Jayson, she was done with this world, tired, lonely, and heartbroken but you came and she felt strong again. She saw the world in a new light when you guys met, she trusted you but you broke that trust when you left her, shattering her world all over again, why Jayson why?"
"I know, I know and I still regret that decision up till today, it haunts me." I say and she agrees as she continues, “Yes, yes Jayson, it should haunt you. You left a poor girl all by herself."
"Oh Jeanne, I know all this, I don't need a reminder. Can you just be off help to me, please." I say going on my knees to beg her.
"No, what are you doing Jayson, get up." She says but I continue begging while kneeling down, "Please Jeanne help me to restore this friendship that has turned into love in my part, please don't say no." I beg and I don't even know when I start crying but I feel tears dropping down my face.
"Oh, you are such a cry baby." She says chuckling and although I feel embarrassed there's nothing I won't do to get back together with Cherry and this being one of them I overlook it.
"Get up, I'll surely help you, if not why would I come here. I do have a plan though." She says and my face lights up like a kid being given his favorite treat.
Bringing out her phone, she motions me to come nearer and she shows me something.
'Oh, I hope this is definitely going to work out for good. I must get my Cherry back, by all means.'
