Dickinson hits his phone in bed after trying my number in vain “Why the hell isn't she picking up her phone when she knows well that we’re travelling tomorrow morning!” he gets up from the bed and undresses.
He takes a quick shower with all his morning, routines and he runs to his office. He usually doesn't work n Sunday but “this Sunday is a special one.” He told himself happily and impatiently waiting for tomorrow to finally leave this damn country with his baby mama.
He also hopes to find me in the office parking a few stuff. That might help me.
As soon as he gets in the building, he stops at the reception “Is Emily Kiddie in?” he recklessly ask. “No sir, s je hasn't shown up since morning and I'm not sure she will!” she retorts as she checks her records.
He barely frown, yet he battles with himself to act normal as he walks into his private life which immediately opens back at his floor. He stroll to his office and he doesn't see Noami on his way ten, he recalls that it's Sunday and neither I nor Noami works on Sundays.
He seats on his desk and he begins to round up with work before parking the files that he will travail with.
He picks his phone to call, Noami to bring some documents and call some host “Shit!” he hits back the phone on its base when had remembers that no one is around. He makes the phone call himself “I confirm my presence for the seminary!” then he offs the call.
As soon as he drops the office phone, it begins to ring. He immediately picks it up.
“Sir, a woman here is insists to see you. She says that it's urgent” the receptionist on the line. “What here name?” he wonders aloud, he's expecting anyone. “She refuses to say her name and she seems very pissed” the receptionist insists. “Let her in!” he immediately offs the call.
The security men, inspection the woman and let her in, indicating the floor on which I am. The woman is practically running to the lofter.
As soon as the lifter opens, she rushes out of the lifter screaming “Dickinson, I want you here now!” she stood in front of the lifter screaming so loud that Dickinson had no choice than to get out of his office and he's so annoyed.
“Who the hell are you? And why are you shouting?” he hurries out of his office yelling.
“I'm happy to find you here today, I thought I won't meet you. I can see that you're a hard working man, this is good. But why do you impede young hard-working, girls to achieve their goals by fooling them with chicken change?. I hope you can recognise me?” she speaks so fast that she runs out of air and she stops to takes a deep breath.
Dickinson lowers his tone and food steps once he glances on her “Sorry, Madam but your daughter isn't here, she doesn't work on Sundays!” he turns to leave but her words stop him.
“I know that she‘s at your house right now, she moved out of home last night to follow you. We had a fight because of you” she affirms with so much confidence that this gets Dickinson worried but she giveshim no chance to offer a word.
“I'm here to plead on you, to warn, urge you to leave my daughter in peace, please. Concentrate on your family and leave my daughter alone. She doesn't deserve all this!” she points at him in disgust.
“I understand you madam but worry not, I have no bad intentions for your daughter. I love and she loves me!” he tries to explain but mum jumps up and slaps him on the face “Don't you dare say this again, my daughter has nothing to do with married men like you!” she scolds in fury his words her taboo.
Dickinson is so mad, no one had ever slapped him this hard, not even his late mother. He retains himself not to act or say something stupid that he might later regret.
“I don't care about what you claim to feel, just count my family out of this. If you don't stay away from my daughter I will make your life a misery” With this said, she immediately leaves.
“Shit!” he hits his fist in his palms then walks to his office banging the the door behind him. “Emile, where the hell are you!” murmurs. Then he keeps up his phone, checking her location on a GPS app found in his phone which is linked to the new phone he gave me.
He reads my present location while walking out of his office without parking his stuff, then he enters while giving the location to Jim.
While in the car, his phone rings, he quickly takes the phone out of his pocket hoping to see my name on his screen in vain he reads “Dr Jobe!” he rolls his eyes and declines the call. As soon as he declines the call messages start popping.

He plugs back the phone in his pocket without reading the messages, he already knows what he wants, so needless picking.

Erick rushes and picks up his phone hoping to see Doc’s call. “Who is it?” I murmur, I'm still laying in bed while Erick was getting to go and prepare us lunch. “I have no idea, it shows the unknown number!” Erick retorts with a shocked glance on his face. “If it's Dickinson, don't tell him that am here!” I roll in bed as if I, careless. “Okay...” Erick pulls his word as we walk out of the room.
“Hello, please who is on the line!” Erick gets apprehensive. “Emile’s Mum, I hope that she is with you?” her voice is gently and polite something which she has never shown trick before. A cold chill goes down his spine at the sound of her voice. “Yes, Ma’am she is here with me!” he seriously nods as if mum could see it.
“Don't tell her that I called. Please, take good care of her!” she murmurs in pain. “Of course!” he keeps nodding. “Thank you!” she immediately offs the call.
“Who was it?” I stop out of the room, I couldn't wait for him to tell me that it's Dickinson. “Nobody!” Erick lies. “I think I should call Dickinson to tell him that I won't be working with him anymore. I've been declining his calls since morning and I don't think it's fair!” I seat on the slap found in the kitchen. It's a little piece of furniture; two chairs and a small table.
“No beb, you aren't calling anyone, he might not be innocent as you think. I guess he will sort out himself with the first Lady that will come his way!” Erick affirms. “Fine!” I won't. “Good girl!” he kisses me on the forehead then begins to cook.
A few minutes later, he here knocks on the door which is just close to the kitchen’s entrance.
“I will open the door!” I hurry but Erick stops me as soon. “No, it's fine. Just stay here!” he pauses me back on the slap then he leaves.
“What do you want?” he gets hazardous once he sees his face. “Is Emile here?” he acts like he didn't get Erick's question. “She isn't here, sorry!” Erick tries to close the door but Dickinson stops him. “What's wrong with you?” Erick speaks in a low tone do that I won't heed them. “She's not here, and even if she was I don't think she would want to speak with you when your wife warned her with a gun!” words honestly escapes Ericks mouth
“What?” Dickinson gets bitter, “I need to talk to her. I had no the idea about this!” Dickinson insists. “I'm sorry !” Erick locks the door finally and he came back to the kitchen.
“I know Dickinson, I heard his voice!” “Whatever, he's gone now. Forget about him, please!”
“Emile, I know you are here and I win leave without talking to you. Please we need to talk,” he yells from outside.
“No, no Emile, you ain't going no whether you stay here with me!”. “I'm sorry Erick my heart is telling me something else!” I walk out of the kitchen.
“Thank you!” Dickinson clenches my jaws with his hands and he kisses me as soon as I open the door. I flinch.
“Whatever my wife told you is a lie. If it wasn't she won't have bothered her to be threatened you. The divorce papers were sent since and trust me she will sign them.” Dickinson follows into the house.
I don't talk much since I don't know what to ask or say.
“Let's leave the country together?” he insist “are you serious do you want your wife to kill me. “If you are far from the country she can't kill you. The seminary is for a month I'm sure by then the divorce papers will be signed”
“You aren't serious!”
