Edde stood at the dining room watching the broken table and messed up foods, he totally lost control of himself and yelled at Elizabeth too. He regretted every single act he pulled out, he was out of control and over reacted.
He blankly watched the maids pack up the wasted food and clean the messed up broken glass table, he couldn't stop hissed out of regret as he sat on a chair with both palms on his face.
"I should go check on her quickly" he mumbled as he left the dining room, getting to the room door he sighed in regret and slowly opened the door to avoid the door making noise.
He had never been so nervous and guilty as he was to Elizabeth.
He peeked his head into the room through the slightly opened door just to see Elizabeth packing up her clothes in tears and stuffing them into her luggages.
"Hey Betta, where are you going with your luggages" Edde asked curiously as he quickly locked the door and stood by it.
"I'm packing to another room far from yours, you're too dangerous for me and Grey. I would rather stay far from you till my time is up than leave your house with an injured skin!" Elizabeth yelled as she zipped up her bags, her words hurt Edde so much. She thought of him as a bad person and that was never his intention.
"Elizabeth, don't do this, just give me a chance to explain myself please, you can't just leave me alone in this room Betta".
"You just showed me the dark part of you and what I saw today? I don't think I can ever forget it, you're a monster Edde Loxley!" Elizabeth yelled as she pulled Grey into her arms.
"I was jealous Okay!? Ken's familiarity with you made me feel like I was never that close to you. I'm sorry that I overreacted. I totally regret my actions because Ken will definitely use it against me. He wanted me to react that way" Edde explained frustratedly as he ran his fingers through his hair and hissed. "I want to make it up to you Betta, give me a chance to prove that I'm not a bad guy at all" Edde added as Elizabeth sighed and sat back on the bed.
"You're injured Edde, you should take care of that before anything" She said as Edde quickly sat next to her and took Grey into his arms.
"I will be totally fine if you forgive me, Ken deserved what I did to him though" Edde pouted as Elizabeth shaked her head and stood up.
"I never really wanted to leave, you just came back and all I wanted was peace. I was just surprised to see you acting that wild" She uttered with a slight smile. "I will get the first aid box"
"I'm so sorry for yelling at you Betta, calling you names was my total bad. I regret everything I said, I feel like I was compelled to say them. I never meant any bad word that came out of my mouth" Edde said with his head low in shame.
"It's fine Edde, at least you realized your mistakes" Elizabeth shrugged indifferently as she walked to the closet to get the aid box, she still had the dark scene replaying on her head she tried waving it off but it was quite impossible to forget what she saw a few minutes ago.
The dark anger in Edde's eye's when hitting Ken's head was unfathomable. She couldn't tell if Edde acted out only because Ken was getting too close or he was angry because of something else.
Edde looked so scary and dangerous, when he yelled at her it felt like he was a totally different person, like a demon was inside of him.
She bent down in front of him as she opened the box and took his hand. There was a deep cut on his palm that was still bleeding. She sighed and took out the alcohol-free cleansing wipes to wipe off the blood and clean the surface.
"Wyatt is coming over to see you and the baby today" Edde uttered calmly as Elizabeth shrugged indifferently.
"Is Rue coming with him?" She asked with her eyes focused on his wound as she applied antiseptic cream.
"I don't know, any problem?"
"No no, just that she's crazy. I wonder how she is a mom, a good one, Rue tried to make me smoke one time" Elizabeth said as Edde twisted his lips.
"Rue has Always been like that but she tries her best to take it far from her kids, and she's way too strong for a woman too, she used to do risky things when she was pregnant like backflip and all that" Edde said and chuckled as Elizabeth's lips slacked in awe. "Wyatt would always complain, but she would rather dare him by doing more!" Edde added as Elizabeth cracked out with shock.
"I could never!"
"You were too weak and a stress to my ass" Edde uttered and gently nudged her shoulder.
"You ain't comparing me to Rue right?" Elizabeth asked, tightening her gaze with a fake anger.
"I would never, my love"

Edde had gone down stairs to welcome his best friend and his wife while I was in the room doing what a mom is supposed to do, get Grey dressed up.
It was 4pm already and I was also happy that I and Edde resolved our little misunderstandings before Wyatt and Rue arrived. I hate when people notice my inside life and the little I have known about Rue. She is the type to start giving advice and making me feel like I could never keep a man.
"You've got an important visitor Grey" I said as he smiled as if he understood what I said, I gently carried him out to the sitting room.
"Hey Elizabeth!" I heard as I turned behind me to see Rue coming from Edde's bar with a bottle of whiskey and glass cups. "Oh! This is our little Grey!" She squealed enthusiastically as she poked Grey's nose softly making him coo like a happy baby.
"Hi Rue, hey Wyatt" I greeted as I sat next to Edde with a slight smile on my lips, for some reasons I felt nervous seeing Wyatt. I Always do.
"You look so beautiful Elizabeth, you really changed after birthing your baby" Wyatt uttered as he sipped his drink.
"Hope it's a good change though?" I Muttered chuckling nervously as Rue carried Grey from me.
"Oh yes it is, you added weight and your skin looks flawless. I mean, it has always looked flawless but now, it looks better!" Rue complimented as I nodded.
"Thank you"
The discussion was going quite smooth and fun, Edde didn't seem like he was really in for a fun discussion as he kept dropping words like he was being forced.
I looked down at my lap and his hand was still placed on it. I knew that it was a subconscious reaction as it had been there for over twenty minutes. I didn't want to shake my legs or anything so that he wouldn't realize it and take his hands off.
I loved the feeling…
"Yeah, I heard your marriage with Elizabeth is on a contract. How true is…" Rue's uncontrollable mouth bladed out as Wyatt tapped her. "What!?" She mumbled and sighed, pouting her lips like a toddler.
"Come on Rue! It's a private matter" Wyatt Muttered with his cheeks red with obvious embarrassment.
"It's known to the world already, by the way we are family. Right Edde?" She said turning to Edde as he shrugged.
I really didn't want us to discuss my contract relationship with Edde.
"Well, the news is true" Edde started as I rolled my eyes frustratedly. "Wyatt knows about how I met Elizabeth and how she got pregnant, although I didn't tell him about the contract marriage which I'm sorry about, I and Betta sighed a two years marriage contract which means that once Grey turns one year I and Betta are breaking up" Edde said as Rue stared dumbstruck.
Edde sounded like he couldn't wait for me to leave, or maybe my instinct is confusing me. I really didn't want to get bitter and ruin my mood.
"Oh my goodness! I thought contract marriages only happened in stories and movies but here I am witnessing it!" Rue Muttered still awestrucked as I hissed and rested my back on the couch.
"It's no big deal, it happens everyday" I said with my voice sounding harsh.
"No really it's totally cool, I'm not judging but you both seem to be in love already. It's really obvious, are you both still splitting?" She asked as I curiously turned to Edde who was quiet and staring at space like he didn't hear Rue's question.
I really didn't want to leave Grey nor Edde, I was fully feeling the wife and mother life I found myself in and leaving will only make me feel betrayed and alone.
I really love Edde Loxley…
"Edde?" Rue called snapping Edde out of his thoughts as he sighed and looked up.
"Is Elizabeth still leaving or you guys are fully into the relationship?" Rue repeated as Edde hissed.
"An arrangement is an arrangement" Edde uttered.
