Weeks have passed and Camilla have not yet regained consciousness, despite the fact that Miguel made sure to talk to her every morning and evening.
He practically lived there with her as he does almost all his business activities from the room next to the room she is placed in, in her house.
He holds his office meetings online and he even tries his best to see to Camilla’s businesses as well.
He had arranged a room for her in her own house and have moved most of the things he would need to her house, he wanted to be with her when she wakes up, and doctor Hamilton have been the one coming to check her from time to time, and there's also a nurse who is stationed there to tend to her.
Dr. Hamilton have come today as well to check on Camilla.
“How is she doing today?” Miguel asked Dr. Hamilton after he had finished with the check up.
“She’s still the same, but she’s still hanging in there.” Dr. Hamilton said, packing up his equipment.
“How do you mean, she's still the same? It's been two weeks already and she's still the same?” Miguel asked, his face revealing how much sorrow he must have borne since Camilla had the accident.
“Calm down Miguel, she's going to be alright, all you need to do is keep talking to her, talk to her about the things you know she would love to hear, as it is believed that patients like herself can hear whatever we say, the only thing is that they cannot respond to us properly. Dr. Hamilton said to Miguel, who just listened, his eyes moving from Dr. Hamilton to Camilla.
“I have been doing that, morning and evening Doc., and she's still the say, is there nothing else we need to do?” Miguel asked Dr. Hamilton, still looking from the doctor to Camilla who is lying there like someone who is just sleeping, and can wake up at any time.
“I know, you just have to keep doing that, we can only do our best, the rest depends on her, if she is willing to live and the Camilla I know is a fighter, so you don't have to worry. Dr. Hamilton said, patting Miguel’s Shoulder.
“I will be on my way then, just call me when you notice or see her move her body, any part of her body at all.” Dr. Hamilton said and saw himself out of the Mansion.

Miguel sat on a chair facing Camilla as tears gathered in his eyes. He had cried most of the time since the day they brought her to her house.
He just couldn't believe that she would be lying here like this, someone who left full of life to pay her respect to a friend, is lying here almost lifeless.
The pain hit his heart again when he recalled that he wanted to go with her, but she had refused him saying she want to go there alone.
“I should not have let you gone on that journey all by yourself my love, look at the condition you are in right now.” Miguel said looking at Camilla and all the equipment’s connected to her body, almost in tears.
“You have to wake up Camilla, you have to wake up, you said you wanted to fight for your daughter remember?” he continued still tearfully.
“Look my love, I have started making the preparations you asked me to.” He told her holding up some papers, as if she could see and understand him in her state.
“I need you Camilla, to get up and sign these papers so that I can file them, please my love.” He continued.
“Your daughter Lora needs you, I need you Camilla.” Miguel said and started crying this time as he could no longer control himself.
“I and your daughter need you Camilla, please wake up, it's time for you to wake.” Miguel said amid tears and then bent over on Camilla’s bed, weeping bitterly, He could no longer bear the fact that she is lying there like someone who is asleep and not responding to him.
He looked up again after some minutes, wiped some tears away from his eyes, and then ran his fingers through her cheeks.
She is really lying like someone who is sleeping, she is truly a beauty to behold and it broke Miguel’s heart each time he looked at her, knowing he could have prevented this from happening to her, if only he had gone with her.
Suddenly a thought hit him, he needs to get her daughter Lora here, maybe she could be of help, maybe Camilla would wake up once she hears her daughters voice, a voice in his head said to him.
“I need to go and look for Lora, my love, please hang in there.” he said to Camilla, running his hand through some strands of hair on her head, and bent over and kissed her forehead.
With this he got up from the chair and walked out of the room. He needs to find a way to bring Lora here as Camilla would love that. He thought.
