The following day, Lanceil and Vincent left the house.
Lanceil went to work. As for Vincent, Agatha wasn’t interested at all.
She spent another day cleaning around. There was another work because Lanceil asked her to clean the other room so his brother could stay with them.
“That dirty sh*t. Why does he have to stay here?!”
She angrily put the crab-marinated sauce in the Tupperware while thinking of Vincent.
“This is torture.”
Agatha was anxious about Vincent. Although Vincent has no clue to prove that Agatha approached Lanceil purposely, she is still bothered.
She looked at the crab-marinated sauce in front of her.
Lanceil loves this dish. Brett told her that.
“What’s the point of cooking his favorite food? He never eats when he’s at home,” Agatha said.
Lanceil purposely doesn’t stay home.
“I don’t know if he is being a gentleman or just purely cold.”
She clicked her tongue.
“He doesn’t even remember my name.”
Agatha wanted to give up on her mission. And just when she thought about it, her phone rang.
She removed her gloves and picked up her phone from her apron. Her eyes widened when she saw Brett calling her!
She’s been trying to contact Brett since yesterday. But Brett said he would call her again because he was busy.
“Speaking of the devil,” Agatha uttered before she picked it up.
[“Did you cook crab marinated sauce? Give me~”]
Agatha rolled her eyes.
“I didn’t contact you for that,” she said.
[“I know. But I like to eat that. Make sure to pack me one.”]
Ever since Brett told Agatha to cook Lanceil’s favorite foods, Brett never forgot to ask for separate food for himself.
‘I think he was the one who wanted to eat them, not Lanceil,’ Agatha thought.
[“I am outside the condominium right now.”]
Agatha’s eyes widened. “W-What?”
[“Pack me one. And meet me now.”]
Tut tut tut~
The unconnected line irritated Agatha so badly.
She looked at the clock.
It is not the time for Lanceil to go back home yet.
“Damn it.”
Cursing, Agatha packed food for her master and hastily walked out of the condominium.
She waited for the elevator to open. When it opened with a clang, Agatha saw a woman inside.
The woman was wearing all black from head to toe, from her cap to her shoes. The creepy lady met her gaze.
Agatha felt creepy, so she avoided her gaze as she walked in.
The lady went out, and the elevator closed.
“Haaa,” Agatha sighed, caressing her chest. “That woman looks really creepy,” she uttered.
On the other side, Brett was waiting for Agatha inside her car.
Outside the condominium building are other big houses in a residential area. Several streetlamps are making the night a little bit bright.
"What's taking her so long?" he grumbled while his hands were on the wheel. He placed his chin above the back of his hand and gawked at the building's main entrance.
After a few minutes of waiting, a smile drew on his lips when he saw her walking out from the automatic glass door. It took her seconds before she located his car. She took a deep breath as she receded closer to him.
Agatha opened the door and hopped inside the passenger seat.
Without looking at Brett, she put the container of Crab marinated sauce on the side.
This is how they meet secretly during the days Agatha works for Lanceil.
“Can’t you at least smile while giving the food?” Brett asked.
Agatha crossed her arms and sighed.
“You didn’t tell me that Lanceil married once, and he’s a widower now.”
Brett opened the Tupperware and smelled the food. He smiled widely, “Thanks to that, Vincent let go of you.”
Scowling, she looked back at him. “What do you mean?”
“Vincent Grim. Everyone said he’s a worthless bastard. Unlike his brother, Vincent only plays with women and goes on vacation. But that man is a quick-witted guy.”
Brett closed the container and looked at Agatha.
“Since you don’t know Lanceil is a widower, Vincent would not suspect you. Lanceil is the heir to Grim Corporation. Many women tried to woo him as soon as his wife died. It was Vincent who got rid of those women.”
Agatha’s mouth opened.
Now she understood why Vincent was suspicious of her as soon as he saw her.
‘Brett didn’t tell me this on purpose,’ Agatha realized.
“So, he thought I approached Lanceil for money, right?” Agatha asked Brett.
Brett set aside the food and looked at his curious slave.
It’s been months since they started their contract. But he doesn’t see improvement between Agatha and Lanceil.
“Don’t worry. Vincent won’t kick you out.”
And why not?
Brett knew that Vincent would never send a gorgeous woman like Agatha without having fun.
“Is that mean he would not sell me out to Lanceil?” Agatha asked.
“That depends on you. Vincent will try everything to send you away.”
“You just told me that he would not kick me.”
“He would not do it directly. But he might play tricks. Something that will force you to move out on your own.”
“Like what?”
“Like this.”
Brett leaned closer and kissed Agatha’s neck.
“…!”
Agatha was too shocked; she froze while Brett continued nibbling her skin.
Brett licked her neck with the tip of his tongue. He drew a circle on her skin, sending shivers down her spine.
“Hnngg,” Agatha moaned. She wanted to push Brett away, but they had a contract.
[“Agatha doesn’t have the right to say no.”]
That was in the contract.
Whatever Brett does to her, she has to accept it.
‘The crazy part is that whatever he does, it feels so good,’ Agatha thought, biting her lower lip.
“W-Wait, ahhh,” she moaned when Brett’s kisses turned wild. “M-Master!”
Brett pulled back.
The warmth left Agatha’s neck.
When Brett pulled his lips away, Agatha felt empty. And that confused her so much.
Holding her neck with a blush, Agatha glared at Brett.
“That is how Vincent will scare you. He might try to seduce you,” Brett said apathetically.
The breath Agatha held slipped carefully from her mouth. She hates that Brett could act fine even after having skin contact with Agatha.
‘Everything he did was new to me. And yet…’
Feeling sorrowful, Agatha suppressed the complaint in her head.
“Be careful from Vincent. But you can also learn from him,” Brett suggested. “Learn how he seduces you and do it to Lanceil.”
Agatha lowered her head.
Brett stared at his wristwatch.
“Your boss will go home now. Go back. Report it to me if there’s anything unusual. Okie, my slave?”
Without looking back at Brett, Agatha murmured, “Y-Yeah. I will.”
Then she left the car.
Brett watched her silhouette through the side mirror of his car.
When Agatha was gone entirely, Brett held his lips.
Until now, he could still feel Agatha’s soft skin and smell her sweet scent.
“What’s wrong with me? That lady is just a pawn.”
He scowled hard even though he didn’t exactly know why he was annoyed.
