As Mo Jun spoke, he tilted his head to the side.
In the next moment, Mo Jun suddenly took a leap. Ella dodged to the side and with a straight kick, the man who was holding Ella’s wrists was sent flying.
"Smart move, fatty~ You actually got my clue," Mo Jun had the leisure to reply before he swung his fists at most of the guys who approached him.
In less than ten moves, all those guys were taken down.
’’You... You.. You..." Bloodied and bruised, they laid on the ground and glared viciously at Mo Jun.
"What? Did you expect me to lose my limbs after my gang was destroyed?"
The guys trembled by his laid-back appearance, "Th-That day, w-why..." One of them asked.
’’That day, I was in a terrible mood, you see. I got my gang destroyed and plebs like you thought you could lay a finger on me. I needed some mental space so I could vent my frustration. I was taking my own sweet time before I could play with you..."
The guys of the small gang looked at each other, seemingly shaken, "And you thought I was gullible. It’s a pity that I couldn’t have my share of fun breaking you into human sticks, huh?"
"But for that, you should thank the kind lady over there who dropped by to rescue me."
The men looked on blankly.
’’Thank her already!" When they did not move, Mo Jun looked behind him, only to realize that the girl had disappeared.
Was she an eel? So slippery!
Clicking his tongue, he turned to the guys.
"B-Boss. We will acknowledge you as our boss!" The guys trembled.
"There is an unspoken rule between the gangs. There is no shame in switching to the one in power. It is our failure that we could not defeat you despite ganging up on you so..."
"What makes you think I will take failures like you as my subordinates? Go improve yourself and I still might consider it!"
Standing on the other side of the road, Ella watched how the scene unfolded with distaste curling in her stomach.
These university studies sure were idle, hah!
Weren’t they at the age where they should be focusing on their studies and chasing their careers?

In the distance, Esther stood beside a man. Their position looked rather intimate from where Ella and Mo Jun stood.
Ricky. This name struck a chord in Ella’s mind. If she was not wrong, this guy came to be known as one of the top tech experts in her past life.
Other than that, she had heard Esther mentioning him a couple of times, praising him for his efficiency in solving her scandals.
After his brief moment of inaction, Mo Jun strode in Esther’s direction.
Ella glanced at his back and a coldness seeped into her eyes.

When Ella got ready and made it to the classes, students were scattered along the way in groups.
They seemed super focused on their phones. And for some reason, even when Ella passed by, they did not look at her.
The voice halted Ella in tracks.
As Ruby approached her, the crowd’s attention shifted from their phones.
"Didn’t they say that she had harmed the goddess?"
"Why would she approach her?"
"Is this fatso threatening her?"
Some of the words fell in Ruby’s ears and her cold gaze swept over the bunch of people who had just spoken.
The people immediately shut their mouths.
Ruby and Ella entered the class together. Ruby took her seat on the first bench and Ella was about to go to her seat when suddenly—
’Clang’ Jenny slammed the duster on the desk.
"Ella Yu, get out of the class!"
Ella turned to the woman, ’’Professor, what..."
"Get out, right this instant!"
"You can’t just kick her out without an explanation, can you?" Kade pushed himself to his feet.
"Are you threatening me now?" Jenny turned to Ella, "Inciting your fellow classmate to disrespect your professor, do you know that adds more to your history of misconduct?"
Ella turned to look at him and gave him a small nod, "Professor, I can’t control my classmate’s actions. If you want me outside, I can stand outside."
Just as Ella had reached the entrance, Jenny’s voice rang again, "After class, meet me in my office!"
"You can be frank with me now," Ella calmly said the moment she stepped inside Jenny’s office.
"Are you going to pretend you don’t know about this?" Jenny shoved her phone across the desk.
The headlines of university forum had blasted up:
[Jenny Mo is allegedly a mistress of some rich old man!]
"Interesting," Ella’s gaze scanned through the headlines before she looked at Jenny, "But it’s not my doing."
"Do you think I believe that?"
Ella sighed, "What do you want me to do to make you believe?"
"Leave the city!" Jenny pushed herself to her feet, "The country. As long as you get out of here, things will be fair between us. I won’t pursue this matter anymore."
