Hunter POV
We did what Aiden thought of the plan. I just hope Linnea doesn't get angry because it might be the reason why she will not accept my proposal. What Aiden said was that it was necessary to pretend to have had an accident. At first I was hesitant because Linnea might still be able to get shocked but Aiden just insisted that we do it.
We still have plenty of time to make the plan, thankfully I was able to pay a few participants in the plan here at the hospital. Later, the nurse said that she had called Linnea and that she was coming here so we got ready.
"You alright?" Aiden asked laughingly.
"What do you think? When it doesn't turn out to be successful I’m going to kill you bastard remember that.” I said.
"I've already helped you think, it depends on Linnea if she will say yes or no.”
I just shook my head and then he said goodbye because Linnea might be coming and we'll be caught talking.
Linnea POV
We got to the hospital quickly so I immediately got out of the car and went inside. A nurse greeted me, it looks like she is the one who called me earlier.
I saw Aiden leaning against the side of a door, I quickly approached him and tapped him on the arm.
"What happened Aiden? Where's Hunter?" I ask.
He looked at me sadly so I was very nervous.
"Linnea ..." he said softly.
"Where is Hunter?" I repeat my question. My heart started to beat faster than normal.
But I saw him shake his head many times, I don’t know what to think but I feel like it’s not good news.
"Aiden! Why can't you answer me?" I said angrily.
"He's gone Linnea, he just left us."
"W-what? Don't fool me Aiden, it's not funny." I said.
I heard no words from him so my tears started dripping. "N-no way, he can't leave me!"
Aiden immediately hugged me, I was just crying. Soon the doctor came out of the room where we were close.
I quickly let go of Aiden's hug. "Doc. Where is Hunter? C-can I see him?"
He nodded. "He is inside, soon we will take her body to be placed in the morgue."
When we got inside every step I took seemed to make me lose strength. I see Hunter lying on the bed.
When I got close to him I couldn't help but be upset, I could see his gentle face. If you look at it, it looks like he is just sleeping but you know that he will never wake up again.
I held his hand and I couldn’t help but cry.
"You are really a bastard Hunter, you never fail to hurt me! You told me you wouldn't leave me no matter what happens but what is this now? You've left me without even saying a word." I said in the middle of a sob.
"I hate you, I hate you for leaving me. You don't know how to keep your promise, you don't have a word." I added.
"I thought when everything was fine and back to normal you would still be there beside me. I thought you loved me but it was like you were just playing with me and my feelings. After I accept to myself that I love you then will you leave me like this? Fuck you and your promises!" I can't stop crying.
"I'm wishing to marry a man who can fight me and take care of me but when I saw you , it was taken back immediately. I thought you were going to marry me, I would agree if you ask me. I don't know how to start again now without you Hunter, so please if I'm just dreaming I want to wake up. "
"Will you really agree to marry me?" I looked at the voice that suddenly spoke
"Hunter ..." I said his name despite my tears.
He got up from lying down and approached me, until now I am still silent on what is happening.
He took something behind him and then knelt down. "Linnea, I know I've committed many mistakes against you. I know I disturbed your peaceful life, but it's all because of your stubbornness but I have no regrets about it. We already face many challenges in life including that jerk Aiden. I don't want to lose you in my life. Linnea Georgia Villareal will you be Mrs. Silvestre? Will you marry me? "
I covered my mouth because of what Hunter said, I didn’t know this day was coming in my life.
I nodded in response. "Y-yes I will marry you." there is no doubt that I answer.
He quickly put the ring on me and hugged me tightly.
But before that I hit him in his shoulder using my hands.
"Ouch! What was that for?"
"You bastard! You're just going to propose why you did this thing? Do you know that I almost got crazy when I heard that you are here in the hospital? You don't know how scared and hurt I was because of that! You don't really think about it, you really want to propose in a painful way. You're so stupid! " I shouted at him.
He laughed. "I'll remind you I'm Hunter Silvestre and romantic style proposals are not trendy to me and another thing is Aiden's suggestions," he replied.
I turned to Aiden and the idiot just signed peace with me. Although these two are really a headache when they are together.
"You two not thinking about the doctor and nurse you put their jobs in danger. “ I said.
"They are willing to help, they know that we need it for the proposal. And I also paid them even though they didn't want to accept it, as a thank you." Hunter explained.
I was confused by my senses. "You two are really my headache."
