Delilah's POV

The song changed again, and this was Senorita.
‘Why a romantic song?’
This time, we… well, not actually we, he pulled me really close to him, his body against mine, his hands going up and down on my thigh. I felt his torso against my back. He put a hand on my stomach and let me dance against him, keeping us close together.
I recalled all my hunter instinct, but those were miserably failing because of the mate bond. He was definitely not a demon or angel because they could recognize their mate after touching them, and he had his eye on me much before touching me. And he might be a vampire, but then his body was not cold like a vampire, but at the same time, it was not hot like he was running in fever.
God! I would go mad.
Why couldn’t I recognize the creature that was with me?
‘That’s maybe because I still have to learn a lot of things.’
A part of me felt guilty for enjoying his touch, this closeness so much being a hunter, but I didn’t want to stop too. I was not drunk and was fully in my sense, but still, I felt like I was intoxicated. My mind was barely concentrating on the song in the background. I must say that the person with whom was decent, at least for now. Though he was touching me from time to time but not once did his touch makes me feel pissed and angry, or his face and my heels would have kissed by now.
Now, I wanted to take a break from this dancing. I think I danced a lot tonight.
“I need a break.”, I said before I stopped. He thankfully let me go, and I started missing his warmth against my body but quickly recovered from it. I need a soft drink. I was feeling thirsty. When I reached the bar, I ordered a virgin mojito and then looked for Liam so that he could pay.
But the person with whom I was dancing spoke.
“Put it on my tab.” I clenched my thighs. God. Could I feel this way just from his voice?
I looked at him and then averted my eyes and focused my mind on my drink.
“Can we talk?” he said, on which I looked back at him. “I promise, I will behave or your heels and my face.”, he added with a smile.
“Sure. Go Ahead.”, I said.
“Not here to somewhere where only two will be there, just me and you.”, he explained more clearly. Should I trust him?
Of course, I should; he could be my first target if he turned out to be a jerk.
But at the same time, I didn’t have my weapon with me.
But that was the test to handle someone like him in a situation when I didn’t have my weapon with me. I still knew how to use magic, right?
“Where?”
“Here itself! So that I can book a VIP suite for both of us.”
“Okay!!” I agreed, sipping my drink. I looked around and found Liam staring at both of us with a sly smile. He raised his eyebrow, on which I shook my head, and then I found him approaching me.
Reaching to my other side, he whispered, “Don’t mind kicking his ass if he misbehaves, okay?”
Little did he know that the stranger standing in my other direction could hear it. That was why he was angry and frowning when I was close to Liam at first, but when he would have heard Liam’s words, I was sure he would have known that Liam was gay.
“Don’t worry about it.”, I smiled at him.
“Margarita, please.”, Liam ordered, but when he was about to pay, the bartender didn’t take it.
“Already put on his tab, Sir.”, He said, and Liam looked at that stranger who was busy with the Manager for the suite. I didn’t bother to hear their conversation.
“Just this or anything?” Liam asked, grinning like a kid.
“Anything.”
“Annnyyythhinggg,” Liam smirked, on which I rolled my eyes. “I’m planning to…”
“Keep in mind that bt any case, I would end up kicking him, then we will have to pay the bill by watching the floors. So, one should not go beyond his or her capacity.”
“Oh, okay.”, he nodded his head, agreeing with me. “Here. Your phone, in case you need it.” he gave my phone to me before adding. “Now, Bye!!” he winked, looking at someone behind me, and walked toward the dance floor again.
I smiled, looking at him, wondering how much stamina this kid had.
“Come on!”, That stranger’s words rang in my ear, and I felt my stomach getting twisted a little; he suddenly grabbed my hand and took me with him. I followed him behind the VIP suite that he booked recently for us.
Finally, reaching the VIP suite, I realized that everything that surrounded here was MONEY.
How rich would he be?
This was the first time in the VIP suite and maybe the last as well. I examined each and everything curiously. I looked at him to see what he was doing, but he was relaxing on the couch, leaning an arm on the rail. At the same time, a waitress walked in with two glasses. A blueberry mojito for me and some alcohol for him. If he could drink or eat, then he couldn’t be a vampire.
He must be a werewolf. However, I haven’t seen any sign of his wolf yet.
Though I thanked the waitress for the drink, I didn’t touch it. What if he would have asked for something to mix in it.
