She first went to report to Mrs Katherine about Charles and took a leave for him then she called Blair out and talk to her and ask her to delete her post.
“why don’t you want everyone to know you are together with him” she asked.
“my affair is none of your business. And you have no right to post anything about me without my permission” she restored getting upset.
“delete it immediately or you wont find it funny at all” then she walk away from her in anger. she got to the CEO's floor and met Amy. she walk up to her.
“good afternoon" she greeted. Amy replied and smile back at her.
"is the boss in?" she ask feeling nervous. Amy remember what Micheal ask her to tell Sonya in case she comes to look for Maxwell and replied her instead.
"he ask me to stop you from coming to his office and you also should not contact him for a while” she said reluctantly. Sonya felt a lump in her tummy.
"no wonder he didn’t read her text at all" she thought and turn to leave. she walk out of the company feeling dejected. she continue walking without waiting to take a cab.
"is not like they were in any kind of relationship at all. they just spend a few time together" she thought to console herself and back the tears in her eyes. she continue walking till she got to her apartment. then she bent down and cry. she wanted to stop crying but the tears wouldn’t stop. She cried for a while, then she wipe her face so Evelyn and loveth wont suspect anything then she went inside. she entered and saw the both of them in the living room but the atmosphere was not good at all. she greeted both of them but they didn’t reply her. she ignore them and went to get herself some water.
"are you really dating Charles?" loveth ask her. Sonya face her not sure of what she heard.
"sorry i don’t understand" she replied.
"are you really dating Charles?" she asked again. Sonya was stressed up and she remembered she already told Blair to delete her post and post another one to clarify it.
"check again on the school page" she simply said and walk pass her. then Evelyn block her way.
"when we asked you you said you guys were just friends"she yelled at her.
"yes, i did, so what's the problem." she replied her.
"so why is there news about you guys dating?" she ask again. "i don’t think i owe you any explanation, whether am in a relationship or not is none of your business" she restored her and folded her hands.
"so are you saying you are in love with him" loveth chip in. she turn to face her
"what the heck is wrong with both of you, i don’t love him and i don’t plan on doing that" she shouted at them.
"since you don’t love him then why don’t you leave him?" Evelyn also shouted back at her.
"and why should i do that? do you love him or what? she stare at her in anger. loveth quickly step in between them when she saw that the situation was getting out of control.
"you guys should calm down and talk this out" she said to make them calm down.
"there is nothing to talk about. you can think whatever you like i don’t care" she said and storm into her room and jam the door after her.Sonya felt so angry and pissed off. she actually wanted to confide in them and talk to them about Maxwell. she open her phone to check if Blair has deleted the post, but she has not. she fume with anger and check if Maxwell has seen her message but he still haven’t read it yet. she sat down on the floor. she actually came to this country to find her father, she didn’t expect that she will also have to face relationship issues. she was very tired to cry, she didn’t even go to visit Charles today. she thought. she drag her tired body to the bathroom and slept off immediately her body touch the bed.
Sonya decide to skip her morning class to visit Charles in the hospital. since it was just an appendix operation he should be discharge in about a week. she entered the hospital and met Amy with him. she greeted her and Charles was sleeping so she decide not to disturb him and step out with Amy.
“so when will he be discharged?" Sonya asked immediately they were out of the room.
"on Friday" she replied.
“Today is Tuesday, so he will use five days altogether" she thought. she drop the things she bought for him.
"i just pick some daily necessaries that he might need" she said.
"okay thanks" Sonya hesitated but still decide to ask her. "Amy, why don’t you want to tell me the reason for you and my cousin break up? i asked him but he refuse to talk too. i mean you guys have been dating for long, so why break up now?" Sonya asked hoping to receive an answer from Amy. Amy keep quiet without saying anything.
"wait, did he cheat on you?" she asked because she knows Simon too well. Amy laugh at her words.
"i cant say he actually cheat...but just forget about it. am sure you won’t want to know what the reason is" she answered.
"and i really don’t hope that you will know what it is. and also i broke up with your dear cousin about four years ago" she added. Sonya was confused by her meaning.
"so did he cheat or not? and also they broke about four years ago, when she was coming to country x, she remember that she ask him about Amy and he has answered as if they were still together" she thought and decide to mind her business.
"since its about them and they are not willing to tell her any details about it then she should leave it that way" she thought and finally bade Amy bye and went to school. the news about her and Charles as reduced its still been discussed by people. she went to find Blair in her faculty but she was not around. she decide to leave it for now. during her class she keep checking for Maxwell's message but there was none. she was upset and unsettle and couldn’t concentrate in class. after she finished her last class, she went to report about Charles condition to the professor in charge, then she went to the company. she entered but Blair was not yet on seat. she continue with her work as she waited for her to arrive. few minute later, Blair enter the office and Sonya excepted her to sit next to her in her seat but instead she took a seat near Ariana. Sonya was confused but she still went over to her side.
"lets talk" she said. Blair ignore her and pretended she didn’t hear. Sonya waited for some second but Blair continue to ignore her.
"i said lets talk, right now" she yelled and everyone attention was drawn to them. Blair was stunned and stood up immediately.
"sit down" Ariana said commanding her. Blair look at the both of them and does not know who to listen to among them.
"who do you think you are? just because you became the CEO's toy, you think you can do as you like. since you are dating Charles already are you also trying to two time with the boss?” Ariana said loud and clear enough for everyone to hear. Sonya look at her in anger and wonder what nonsense she is saying. then its all came to her. she had thought that Blair just posted the news about her and Charles just because of her assumptions, but it looks like it not as simple as she thinks. Ariana was behind it.
