Sonya ignore her and move closer to Blair instead.
"i will give you just five minutes to delete that post" she said firmly, Blair was intimidated by her and hurriedly bring out her phone. Ariana snatch the phone from her hand.
"what are you afraid of? she is the one who should be afraid" she said facing Blair. while she was still talking, Sonya grab her hair all of a sudden and draw her close to herself. Ariana screamed and struggle to push her but Sonya was stronger.
"you bastard" she said
"if you don’t want to walk out of here with a battered face then shut your mouth" Sonya threatened and release her hair. immediately her hair was released, she made an attempt to slap Sonya. but Sonya held her hand mid-way and slapped her. everyone was startled. Sonya face Blair and signal for her to delete the post and tell her to post another one to apologize to her. with trembling hands Blair quickly delete it and immediately start to type a new post. Ariana was held by Sonya, restraining her from doing anything. after Blair finish posting, Sonya release her.
"if you ever try what you did today ever again, i will rip out your skin" she said to the both of them and walk back to her seat. Ariana was fuming with anger but there was nothing she could do. she knew that in team of strength, she is no match for her. but she was still happy because she already sent the post to Micheal and she knows for sure that Maxwell is going to see it. everyone quickly went back to their business. they were surprised at Sonya's outburst. ever since she joined them, she always does whatever she is instructed to do without complaining. even if its not her work and she never once complain about the way Ariana has been treating her. seeing as Ariana was defeated by her, they were happy because there is someone who can handle the great Ariana. Sonya continue her work and join her work with Charles’s, after working hours was over she stood up immediately and left.
she got home and headed straight to the kitchen. she saw Evelyn and loveth in the living room and walk pass them. she drop the groceries she bought and enter her room.
"don’t you think we should apologize to her about yesterday, she seems really angry" loveth whispered to Evelyn. Evelyn shrugged as if she does not care at all.
"you know you are the one at fault about this and the owner of that post already deleted it and post another one to clarify it." she said again.
"whose friend are you between the two of us?" she said upset. loveth wanted to reply her but Sonya entered again and she shut up. Sonya start to prepare dinner and after she finished, she serve the food and start to eat. loveth walk to her side and stood at a distance away from her.
"Sonya" she gently called. Sonya lift her head up to look at her.
"ahem, about yesterday, am really sorry, i mean we are sorry. its actually none of our business if you are dating anyone. you have the right to date whoever you want, we just overreacted and we don’t mean for it to come out that way" she apologized and hope she will accept her apology. Sonya did not say anything for sometime, then she finally answer her.
"your food is in the kitchen" she said and continue her food. loveth smiled and she knew that she has forgiven her. she went to meet Evelyn and ask her to go talk to Sonya. she stand up reluctantly and went over to her side. she wanted to say something to her but her pride wont let her. when loveth saw that she just there saying nothing and it was beginning to feel awkward, she decide to step in and push Evelyn a little forward to Sonya.
"she is also sorry, but you know her and her ego" she said on her behalf.
"am not angry" Sonya simply reply. loveth smile and make Evelyn sit down next to Sonya she bought the remaining food out and serve it for Evelyn and herself. they eat in silence and then, Sonya stood up to leave after she was done and loveth stop her.
"since you are both not in a great mood, why don’t we play some games before going to sleep" she suggested. they both protest against it because whenever she suggest playing a game, it is always true or dare. but she gave them no chance to rejectLoveth quickly bought out some drinks from the fridge and pack the table and they begin. Sonya has never drank anything alcoholic before. But because she was feeling down she decide to try it just that night. they played a lot of game and they keep drinking. at first the drink taste weird in her mouth but after drinking a whole bottle she couldn’t stop. Then they get to the truth and dare game. She answered every single thing they ask her. Sonya try to keep her eyes open but it seems difficult. “Sonya, why did you cry yesterday? something bad happen?” loveth asked.
“that’s not a dare question" Evelyn said.
“it doesn’t matter" she said and lean in to her.
"Don't you want to find out if she is actually having a thing with Charles or not?"
"You said to forget about it"
"Exactly she is drunk now and will say everything. No one will be displeased that way" she replied.
"Are you...” before Evelyn finish her statement, as if she was possessed Sonya start to tell them everything. Loveth bought out her phone and start recording her.
“actually I wasn’t sure if I really like your brother or I just like his beautiful face but I started feeling like seeing him more and like him” she continues.
“this is like the first time I will be involve with another guy except from my cousin. And Simon is a playboy. I don’t want to be like him at all. Having someone online and dating with some else feels like cheating to me. Ah! I remember now, there is also one pervert I met five years ago. He is also handsome and your brother too is handsome, also my online friend username is handsome man. Don’t you think I have a thing with handsome guys” she rant on and on and finally slept off.
.…Sonya woke up and felt a heavy bang on her head, she tried getting up but couldn’t. she look around remember that she fell asleep yesterday after drinking too much. Evelyn was laying down next to her. she tap her to wake her but she continue sleeping.
"you are awake" she heard loveth voice.
"am preparing something for you guys to take care of your hangovers. it will soon be ready" she said and continue with what she was doing. Sonya head was not clear yet so she just stood up and enter her room to continue her sleep.
"wakie, wakie sleeping head, its time to eat" Sonya open her eyes and saw Evelyn beside her.
"how do you come in?" she asked.
"the door was wide open" she answered and open the windows.
"loveth prepared something for us to eat. come out soon or you will be late for school" she said again and went out.
Sonya try to remember what happened last night but she could not, it as if every memory about it has been wipe away from her memory. she enter the bathroom to take a bath and change her clothes. she felt very sick in her tummy but still managed to dress up and pack her stuff for school. she came out of the room and saw loveth and Evelyn at the dinning, she walk over to join them. she sat down and noticed that they keep giving her a funny look.
"okay, what is it? did l do something wrong last night?'' she asked them.
"are you saying you don’t remember anything about last night ?'' loveth asked not believing her.
''l don’t think l do at all" she replied.
“okay, let refresh your memory then, so when do you start to fall in love with my brother'' Evelyn said playful. Sonya was surprised and choke on her food
"I don't understand what both of you are talking about" she answered.
"Oh really, will you like us to refresh your memory then" loveth said with a mischievous smile.
