CHAPTER 29

So how was the birthday party huh?" Rose asked sarcastically as the class started laughing.
The sound of their voices echoed in her ears as she sniffed.
They continued laughing as Bonnie felt the earth should open up for her to jump in.
She stood up from her seat and walked outside the class as she heaved a sigh.
"She's such a joke" she heard Rose telling their classmates as she frowned.
"I hate her" she muttered to herself as an idea struck in her head.
"Yes!" She said remembering Alex told her Peter would be late to school today.
She brought out her phone from her Jacket pocket and dialed Peters number which she saved as "BOIFY"
He picked at the first ring as they both exchanged pleasantries.
##"Where are you?" Bonnie finally asked.
## "I'm walking to school now, I'm close to the mall" he said as she smiled.
##"Perfect, I need a favour from you please" she said.
## "And what could that be?' He interrogated.
## There's something I want you to get for me at the mall. I can't get it here in school except we are on lunch break and I need it now and urgently" She said after which she narrated what she wanted to him, then ended the call.
Peter wondered what she wanted to do with those and think it was awkward. A idea struck bus head to ask Alex about it but he waved it off his thought. He'd ask Bonnie himself after he get it for her.
She walked back to the class and sat down. Their form teacher still hasn't returned to class.
"Here she comes" Rose said as they started laughing again.
"I guess her birthday was a whack!' A little boy said.
"Yh, me too. I feel like returning this stupid invitation card back to her" another girl said as the class agreed and they started throwing her birthday cards at her.
"You all should stop!' Nicholas yelled at them.
"What would you do if we refuse to huh? Mama's boy" Rose said as Nicholas started crying and the class laughed the more.
(Is he crying just now? He's such a coward then. What a weakling) Bonnie thought as a message popped up in her phone.
She smiled after reading it and walked out of the class to meet Peter.
She hugged him and observed his right arm still tied up to his neck.
"Easy, easy. You don't wanna hurt my arm do you?' He asked her as she smiled.
"Of course not. So did you get my... "
"Yh I did, I got the 150 chocolate candies you asked me to buy. Can you eat all that up? You're gonna have a running stomach and I guess you can't even eat up to four' Peter said handling the paper bag filled with the candies to her.
She took it with a smile, opening the paper bag and observing what was inside, her smile broaden.
"What do you wanna use these for? I hope you're up to nothing mischievous?" He asked.
"Nah, I wanna use it for something. And thanks. I'll be coming to your school today when mine closes. Fay had to do something so she can't pick me up today. Have a nice day Peter" with that, she walked back to her class without allowing him say more.
He stood there watching her till she disappeared to their school building, he shook his head and continued his walk to school.
Their form teacher was in class already and was marking their assignments.
She walked to her seat as the class giggled. She ignored them and dropped the paper bag on her desk. Searching her bag, she brought out her own assignment and walked to the form teacher.
"Question 9 is wrong again ma'am" she told the teacher who removed her spectacle and stared at her worst nightmare. BONNIE
"No offense taken ma'am" Bonnie said and walked back to her seat. She opened the paper bag as she poured the candies on her desk.
"Who wants some candies?!' She yelled as all her classmates screamed out of joy.
"Me!"
"I want some!
"I want one too!"
"Ok guys, you can get as many as you want. I've got more than enough for everyone!' She said as her classmates rushed to her seat to get the candies.
Rose was alone in her seat as she watched them with sad face.
"You want one too?" Bonnie asked Rose who nodded politely.
"Hell No!" She said and giggled as Rose bowed her head in sadness.
"Young lady! What have you turned my class to?" Their form teacher said standing up.
"Relax ma'am! Just giving them my birthday treat" she said still smiling.

The Freaks were at the cafe as they talked about Elena carrying a gun to a date with Edward.
"I was just nervous that was why I asked for her help. She asked me to do it" Elena said as they ate hamburger together.
"You're so funny Lena! How would my 9 years old crazy little sister ask you to do something and you did it? Can't you see Bonnie's crazy?" Alex blurted out as everyone laughed except Elena who didn't find it funny.
"She even asked me to get her 150 chocolate candies today, I wonder what she wanna do with those" Peter added as they all laughed, this time, Elena was included.
"Can that kid be more weird?" Alex said admist laughs.
They stopped laughing when Sarah walked into the cafe with her drawing book and journal. She sat opposite them as she stared at them.
"Why is she staring at us now?" Laura whispered to Elena.
"I dont know, why asking me, how am I expected to know that?" Elena expounded in a whisper.
"Well, you're the closet person to her in this crew and the last I checked, you are her project mate and she showed you her drawing book which she never showed to anyone" Laura said in one breath.
"Well, that doesn't justify the fact!" Elena insisted.
"I think we should go tell her thanks" Alex suggested.
"Yh, and probably ask her to join the crew. You know without her we are blind. We can't know the next target" Peter suggested as they agreed.
They stood up, carrying their seats with them, they settled down around Sarah's table as she flinched, giving them all a horrid look.
"Hi sarah" Elena said stretching her hand to her for a shake which she stared at weirdly without taking the handshake.
"Ok, I think she doesn't like touching people. Besides, I haven't seen her holding hands with anyone before" Laura who was sitting next to Elena whispered to her as she withdrew her hand back.
"We came to thank you for giving us the revelation of that kid that was to be killed" Elena stated as Sarah just stared at them.
"Yh, we were able to save her and that kid is my baby sister. I don't know what might have happened if you didn't reveal it. We are so grateful" Alex added.
Sarah's facial expressions and emotions remained anonymous to them as they tried as much as possible to read it but all to no avail.
"See Sarah, we know you are like, always able to see the next death that would occur even before they happen. Because of you, we were able to stop a death from occuring" Laura stated.
"We were hoping maybe you could be kind enough to help us stop these deaths from occuring. We really wanna help and I believe you wanna help too but can't because no one would believe you" Alex said.
"They all think you are a psycho and a weirdo but we don't. We know you are 100% normal like every other human. Just that you are unique and different and they don't seem to understand your kind of personality. We believe you want to help stop this homicide too but was just waiting on and looking for the right people" Peter said.
There was an awkward silence that lasted for three minutes and The Freaks became tensed.
Sarah stared blankly at them as if they were strange creatures speaking strange languages.
Sophia and her crew were accompanying her to detention as they saw the Freaks gathered at Sarah's table.
"Hey, check those out" Thelma said as Sophia glanced at them and stopped.
"Are those kids normal?" She asked no one in particular and started walking up to them as Rhoda stopped her.
"Sophy, you're almost late" Rhoda told her as she clenched her fist.
"I would be back" she said and continued walking towards the other way.
The silence was still loudly heard as Elena decided to break it up.
"And here we are! Let's be a team, let's stop this serial killer together. What do you say huh?" Elena asked as Sarah just stared at them.
"Seriously? Did you guys tell her I'm also part of the team?" Bonnie asked from their back as she walked up to them.
"What are you doing here?" Alex asked perplexed.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. She said she would come by that Fay can't drop her off because of some reasons and she can't go home by herself alone after their school closure" Peter explained.
"She can't stay! That girl is a pain in the ass!' Alex whispered to his friends.
"I heard that Alex!" Bonnie said as she walked up to them.
She glanced at Sarah and smiled.
"I believe you are Sarah. Nice to finally meet you" Bonnie spoke in latin stretching her tiny hand to Sarah for a shake.
The Freaks wanted to laugh at Bonnie that she was speaking nonsense to Sarah who wouldn't even take the handshake, but to their bewilderment, Sarah took the handshake and smiled at Bonnie.
That was the first time Sarah actually smiled.
"What did she say?"
"What just happened?"
They found themselves ask simultaneously.
