CHAPTER 22

"Hello! Elena, I can't hear you. This place is damn noisy" Peter said as he walked out of the amusement park.
"I said get Bonnie out of there now! She's the next target!' Elena screamed as she rushed out of the room, carrying her bag.
"Ton ton ton" her phone said as she stared at it.
"Did he just end the call on me? You better didn't Peter" she said out of frustration and tried calling him again. But his line was switched off.
"Dang it!" She said half yelling.
She hurried through the mini staircase, as Emily fixiated her eyes on her.
"You're leaving so soon? Elena?" Mrs. Bellos asked sitting erect as Elena swallowed hard and slowed down her pace.
"Yeah, I have something to do" Elena said restless as Mrs. Bellos smiled.
"Why leaving in a hurry? Come over here, let's have tea together" Mrs. Bellos beaconed on her as she shook her head negatively.
"Next time ma'am" Elena said as she rushed out of the room.
"I wonder what Sarah has done to her" she said looking at the staircase she filed from and heaved a sigh.
"Like mother like daughter" Emily said shaking her head sideways.
Elena rushed outside the mansion without waving bye at anyone and Agent Zoe wondered what has gotten into her.
"It's Sarah I guess" Zoe muttered to herself.
Elena got outside and hailed a taxi, but none agreed to stop.
"Hey! Please! Stop!" She said waving her hands but none of the cab agreed stopping.
"Come on! Dang it!" She said looking at the time on her phone as she felt the scorching sun on her skin.
She stayed there waiting for a cab but none came forth and she was getting frustrated already.
She saw a machine bike driving towards her direction as she hailed it down. She was getting so desperate now.
The driver of the machine bike stopped and removed his helmet.
"Elena?" Edward asked as Elena's breath increased.
"What are you doing here?' He asked, surprised to see her coming out from the Bellos mansion.
"Oh, Thank God it's you. Take me to the amusement park now" she said getting on the bike as he chuckled.
"Hey hey hey! Not so fast brunette. What are you going to do there anyway and why so much in a hurry?' He asked reluctant to drive the bike.
"Please" she said with a teary voice as he got the message, this must be really important. He thought it was one of her trick she normally pull with Laura his kid sister.
"Here, put this on" he said handling a helmet to her as he fasten his on too.
"Hold on tight and no matter what happens, don't let go" he said as she nodded then he ignited the engine.
"And plus, note that you owe me one now" he said with a smirk.
"Yh, whatever! Just drive" she said as he drove off.

"What's the matter?" Alex asked Laura who stood up hurriedly.
"It's Bonnie!" She said with teary eyes.
"What happened to my sister?" Alex asked furiously as Fay stood up from her kneeling position in which she was blowing air into some balloons.
"She's the next target. She's at the amusement park with Peter. Elena just called. That's what Sarah wanted to show her... " Laura didn't finish her words as Alex sprung up.
"Let's go there. I'll kill any bastard that'll.."
"Is anything the matter? " Fay asked scared.
"We think Bonnie is in danger" Alex said putting on his shirt because he was wearing a singlet.
"What? How do you know that? Can I tag along?" Fay asked as Alex shook his head.
"No! We've got this, just take care of the house" he said as Laura walked before him and they both went out of the house.
They rushed outside as Alex dialed Peter's number but it was switched off.
He groaned out of frustration as they hailed a cab and got in alongside Laura.
"Amusement park!" Alex said to the driver. Seeing the tense in his voice, the driver sped off without asking questions.
Laura dialed Elena's number as she took the call.
##"Where are you?" Laura asked her.
##"I'm almost there, I'm coming through north" Elena said.
## "Ok, we're heading through East" Laura told her.
## "she's on the carousel, keep your eyes open" Elena said and ended the call.
"Peter's line is switched off!" Alex said out of frustration .
The driver wondered what might be the problem as he stared at them through the mirror.
"Is anything the matter?' He asked driving.
"Nothing! Just shut you damn mouth and do your damn job and speed up this damn slow car!" Alex shouted at him as Laura held his hands and whispered something to him.
"It's ok Alex, don't transfer aggression, everything's gonna be OK. Nothing will happen to Bonnie. You should be happy Sarah was kind enough to reveal to Elena. Which means one thing, we aren't too late. We're gonna save Bonnie, let's just have faith" she encouraged as her heart raced too. She's too much fund of that kid, she doesn't want to loose her.
The driver thought Alex was one cracy saucy kid, but hearing what Laura said, he sped off. Anyone currently in Alex state would do same.

"Damn this phone!" Peter said putting the dead phone in his pocket. He has gotten the message from Elena and he had to act fast now.
He found his way back in a hurry to the amusement park, there were lots of people on the road and he struggled his way through.
"Bonnie!" He shouted her name as he got to the carousel, other kids were driving there's but she was no where to be found.
"Bonnie! Where are you?!" He kept looking for her as he scratched his head.
"Oh no! No! No! No! Please please please! BONNIE!" He screamed as he went about the amusement park, looking for her.
"Think! Think! Think! Peter think!" He said as he slapped his head.
"Where would she go if she was scared? I believe she would not just walk away on her own without me. Something must have happened? Or had she been kidnapped?' He thought as he waved the thought off his head.
He looked about the park, seeing everyone doing things as if nothing was happening.
Then he remembered what Bonnie told him some days ago.
LITTLE BONNIE'S VOICE OVER HIS HEAD.
"When I'm scared of anything, I always move to where there is light. Bad people and demons hates light so they can't come near me there" Bonnie's voice played in his head as he breathed down.
"Ok, where can I... Where.. where.. where.. " he said turning around as his eyes sighted the power house (power house of Mystic Hollow) on a hill a little bit far away from the park.
"Of course" he said as he started running towards there.

It was 4 O'Clock already, the people taking Care of the power supply station were having a drink at one of the rooms, they said stupid things because they were drunk already.
The house was huge and made of fine brown woods, it was actually ugly on the outside but beautiful on the inside.
Peter got to the entrance and stopped when he heard the noises coming out from a particular room, he doesn't know how many men were inside there and does not also know what to tell them that he was doing there. And PS, he doesn't know who they were so he crept slowly to the room and made little noise.
"Do you hear any noise?" One of the old men said as Peter froze at his spot. He thought maybe he had been noticed.
"Yh, I think it was coming from the roof" another man said as Peter knew immediately that the noise wasn't from him.
{But wait! Did he say from the roof? It only means one thing. The killer is here and probably, Bonnie is here too. The last time he saw a man on blue mask on the roof, at the hospital, someone died in ward 15} he thought as he slowed down his breath so it wouldn't be heard.
The men looked up and saw the man, putting on black all through and also wearing a blue mask, holding a gun.
He shot at the 6 of them as they lay on the pool of their blood. Peter hid at the spot he was as the man jumped down from the roof, looking for Bonnie.
One thing he had discovered about the killer, he was very good and perfect with a gun. This is serious.

Elena got down from the machine bike and ran straight to the carousel.
"Seriously? No thanks?" Edward asked stretching his hands as he shrugged while Elena kept running.
"Well, whatever, just know that you owe me a date" he said not minding if she heard him or not as he drove off.(this story is written by Naomi Innocent)
"Bonnie! Bonnie!" Elena screamed her name as she searched around the carousel, the children riding on the horses thought she was insane or something.
She dialed Peter's number but it was switched off as she cursed under her breathe.
Laura and Alex alighted from the cab as she paid without taking the change. The driver was calling them back to take their change but they just ran off.
"It's my lucky day" The driver said as he drove off, chewing his gum.
Laura and Alex ran to the carousel to look for Bonnie as they met Elena.
"She's not here! Neither is Peter" Elena said as she scratched her hair restlessly.
"I'm so stupid, I'm a really bad brother. I'm such a jerk" Alex said cursing under his breath.
"I should have listened to her" he added scratching his already scattered hair out of frustration
