The stage room was set in an Oran company, fans were crowded in the hall and the world was waiting for this show that had long been announced, this music show that would change many lives and dreams, a piece of music that would be sung by the most popular female musician in the world.
I looked over at Russeli who was standing by my side with a black jacket and a black trouser, his hair was curled up bringing out the beautiful shape of his face and his straight nose, his eyes glitter with glint and like the stars the shines in the sky as he stares back at me.

I came over to see him since my deal was done, this should probably be the last time I get to see this despicable man.
I walked into his office and with a smile on his face he welcomed me to a seat, I just can't imagine how the evil ones are always to ones that feel happy while those who are innocent cry and feel pain.
"Are you happy now?" I asked him and his smiles seem to broaden even more. "Now that your greed has reached its apex, you must be very happy."
"Yes, I am." He sips his wine joyfully and fills in another glass.
I scoffed. "Like I had told you earlier, your success would lead you to your downfall."
"Is that a threat?" His lips curled up but his expression was still with that joyful smile of bad intent.
"No." I shook my head. "It is my last wish and I feel very sorry for you because you do not know how much you make the people around you feel, you created enemies for yourself when you crumble down, don't expect help from those you turn your back against."
He was silent and I was done talking to him, this was all I have to say, he was not a person that could change, no, time doesn't change these kinds of people, only failure does and at that moment of their downfall, they will end up regretting what they had done but there would be no redemption for them.

I walked into my father's office and watched him merry alone, dancing to classical music while drowning in champagne.
"It is great you have finally achieved what you want," I told him and he turned to look at me with a smile on his face, turning down his music and settling down on a chair he sipped his wine like a royal.
"Russeli you are here, come join me..." He raised his glass and scoffed.
"The thing is, there is no joy when others are not happy with you because you pushed them away with your greed, just to be the first." I shrugged. "I discovered you have turned Mr Malcolm down by terminating the contract you both have and also disbanding his team."
I walked close to him and sat down on the sofa, my eyes staring at my father whose heart was as black as his eyeballs. "I can see through your soul how evil and dark it is, but what I want from you is to let Malinda out of your plans and out of your wicked acts."
He had tried to kill her once, how sure was I that he wouldn't do that again, she was not safe and I only hope he could assure me that he would never hurt her, even if devils change but a promise should be a promise.
"Do you think I would?" My father sipped his wine slowly and clenched my fist.
"She has made your company succeed, she helped you rank first even after you hurt her, what more do you want from her?!" I barked in anger flipping the glass on the table but my dad didn't flinch even when the glass shattered on the floor.
Were the beast scared of anything? I doubt it!
"I want her to be deleted from your life, I want her completely erased from your memories, or else, I would send her to her early grave." His words send a cold shudder to my spine and his eyes blackened as he stares right into my dilated pupils.
"Let her disappear from your life completely because she would always be a threat to me, remember I am capable of taking her life." He sips his drink and I was so scared, so scared that these words from my father weren't an empty threat.
"You won't do that terrible thing..." My lips quiver and warm tears rolled down my cheek, I was terrified to the bones of what would happen to Malinda if she keeps staying here.
He laughed coldly. "Her life is in your hands Russeli, send her away or she will die." His voice was like a sharp sword piercing through my soul, hitting the deep part of my heart that seems to be filled with thorns now.
I remembered what had happened in the past, if I had stayed away from Malinda then, we wouldn't have had that accident and she wouldn't have passed through all these, was this fate trying to play with them, was this how cruel things have to turn out.
I remembered the words Gavin told me 'You can never protect Malinda so let her go' I blink tears away, my heart was in confusion and the eyes of this man I had once called my father stared at me like that of a beast.
"If anything should happen to Malinda, I would kill myself..." It was unnecessary to say this because my father would be ready to kill me together with her and he won't feel anything about it.
"Let her be, I would send her away, please let her live, I would make her disappear from my heart completely." I turned around and walked out of the door. If this was the only way to save Malinda, then that was the only thing I had to do.
