I used a spoon to tap the meat floating in my soup. It felt hard—almost raw.
I glanced at Rose, who was whistling while sharpening a large sword.
"What meat is this?"
She grinned. "You really wanna know?"
"Uh... on second thought, no. If I know, I might lose my appetite."
I just prayed it wasn't human.
Then I stabbed it with my spoon and took a bite.
It tasted... better than I expected. The soup was flavorful, and while the meat was tough to chew, my hunger drove me to swallow some chunks whole.
After eating, Rose finished whatever she was doing and headed to her room.
"Alright, kiddo. Goodnight."
I watched as she walked away, her tail swaying behind her. It made me curious—what would happen if I pulled off her shorts and touched that sharp tail of hers?
Yeah, no. She'd probably kill me. The demon was a violent one.
I sighed and threw myself onto the couch, its spider-like legs twitching under me. I sprawled out on top of it, praying I'd wake up alive.
I barely got any sleep. Maybe it was fear. Or maybe it was the distant howls that echoed through the night, a constant reminder that I wasn't in the human world anymore.
Morning
Rose woke me up early. When I jolted up, I realized—crap—I had a hard-on.
She glanced down at me and chuckled. "Someone woke up excited."
My face burned with blush. "It's just how boys wake up every morning. Don't blame me—it's natural."
"Is that so?" she drawled. "Well, let's get you to training, shall we?"
She opened the door, and that beast—I mean, that puppy, as she called it—leapt at her. I glanced at it, hesitating to go outside.
"Come on, kiddo. You can't stay indoors forever."
I steeled my resolve and stepped outside, glaring at the dog with a silent warning: If you touch me, I'm killing you.
The dog met my glare, growled... then lunged forward and started licking my face. I lost my balance and fell, screaming.
"It's trying to kill me! Rose, help!"
Rose burst into laughter as the beast slobbered all over me.
"Jeez, would you relax? Rex is just a puppy. He loves playing. He won't kill you."
"Yeah, right." I grumbled, shoving the beast away. "What kind of puppy has fangs this big?"
"It's a demon hound. They're born with fangs." She shrugged, then pointed toward the distant mountains. "Anyway, do you see that rabbit over there?"
I squinted. I could see mountains. A rabbit? Not a chance.
"I don't see shit," I muttered.
Rose sighed. "Human eyes are so weak. Well, that's your problem. Go to those mountains and hunt some rabbits."
"Hunting rabbits? Are you serious? I thought you said I'd be training today."
"Yeah, duh. That is your training."
"This is ridiculous. How is hunting rabbits supposed to make me stronger?"
"Just do as I say, human. And don't use magic. Take this instead."
She tossed a short dagger at me. I caught it and raised an eyebrow. "This isn't even a sword."
"Bye now, human." She waved me off and headed back inside.
I clenched my teeth. This is bullshit. The Priestess needs my help, and I'm out here hunting rabbits.
With no choice, I set off toward the mountains. Unlike the forests in my world, these trees looked... alive. Some had eyes. I could even tell which ones were male and female. A chill ran down my spine. Walking through a valley while feeling unseen stares was nerve-wracking.
And then, the system chimed in.

[Run 10km in 15 minutes]
[Do 100 push-ups]
[Punch a tree 100 times]
I groaned. These daily quests are going to kill me. But I had no choice.
I sprinted through the woods, careful not to get lost—or worse, stumble into a place I wouldn't survive.
Push-ups were hell. I barely reached a hundred before my muscles screamed in protest. And then there was the tree-punching quest.
I glanced around. Every single tree here looked alive.
I sighed. No normal trees. Just great.
Taking a deep breath, I walked up to a massive one and punched it. Nothing happened.
Good.
I kept going, landing punch after punch. And then—
A deep, rumbling groan shook the ground.
I froze, glancing up. The tree's eyeballs had widened as it looked down at me.
"A human? What do you think you're doing?"
Oh, shit. It talks! With a DEEP voice even!
I turned and ran. My joints felt weak, but I had to move. The surrounding trees stirred, their branches stretching toward me like grasping hands trying to catch me for the big guy.
I barely dodged them. One hit, and I was done for.
My stamina was running low. I had used most of my strength on my daily quests.
With some leftover PP, I maxed out my speed and shot forward like a bullet, heading straight for Rose's house.
I skidded to a stop at the door, burst inside, and collapsed, panting like a horse that had been running for three days without water.
And then I saw her.
Rose had just finished bathing. She stood naked in the room, drying herself with a cloth.
My rod twitched as l took in the sight before me. She looked even more sexy when naked.
I felt an overwhelming urge to get more PP from her. After all, she was the only female Milf l knew in this world.

Before she could finish her sentence, l lost it. I lunged toward her and crashed my lips against hers.
