“Gerard.’ he called my name and faced me properly. “Pull yourself together.’

I got up and walked to the window with glowing deep-blue eyes, facing the view of the city.
“Gerard.’ I could sense Carmine getting up from the bed and walking up to me. “You are not the only one worried about Oceania and the realms. I’m also worried too. But I gotta do what I have to do.’

“What is happening?!’ Carmine quickly rushed to me and I held his shoulders and shook my head multiple times.
“Are you having an asthma attack?!’ he shouted and rushed to where I was pointing at and he quickly opened my bag and took it out.
He came up to me and pointed the inhaler at my nose.
I took it from him, and my body relaxed. I felt a little weak and sat down on my bed.
“Why are you having an asthma attack when there is so much air in here?!”
“I don’t know.’ I shrugged, and after a few minutes, I sighed and closed it.
Carmine also sighed and got closer to me. “Dress up and let’s get going.”
“I know.’ I muttered and almost rolled my eyes at him when he mentioned Emily. “What are you going to do with her?!”
“She’s coming with me, but I’m not showing her to Oceana yet.’
“Why?!’
“Oceana can’t find out she’s my mate and I’m telling her I’m getting married. That would be a lot to take in. She has to know about us being fated mates and then…”
“Okay, if you say so. Just prepare for the worst that’s gonna happen.’
I laughed and felt a slight pain in my abdomen.
“Are you okay?!’
“I’m fine.’ I nodded and looked at him. “Thank you for always being there for me, brother.’
“What are siblings for? Of course I will be there for you, scaredy cat,’ he teased, and I got up and threw my pillows at him. He ran away and dodged it.
“Hey! What are you? A kid?!’ he laughed, and I smirked and grabbed more pillows.
“You know, I never lose, brother, when it gets to a pillow fight.’

“Of course, I’m serious, Carmine. Pillow FIGHT.’
“How can an grown ass Alpha like you be playing a pillow fight?!’ he stuck out his tongue at me and I laughed and sneakily threw one pillow at him.
It hit his forehead as he winced. “I’m not doing this with you.’
“Of course you are.’ I laughed so hard at his red face and before I knew what was happening, he threw one at me. I staggered and hit the back of my head on the wall. Wanting to throw another one at him, he was gone.
