Lin Wen Xin took his temperature and it showed 39 degrees Celsius?!
Wang Shen Ze is running a very high fever. She asked the servants if they could bring her some small towels and a bucket of cool water.
In the meantime, she tapped on him to wake him up. “Shen Ze... wake up... Shen...?”
He frowned slightly but still did not open his eyes. Just at this moment, his phone started ringing.
Lin Wen Xin looked over and saw that it was Yi Fan who is calling him. She reached out for it and answered, “Hello, Yi Fan...”
She then went on to explain about the situation and informed him that both of them could not come for work today.
Just as she put down the phone, the servants quickly came in with the things that she has requested for.
Lin Wen Xin placed the towels into the bucket and squeezed them dry before putting it on his forehead, neck and some parts of his body.
She had to try to bring down his body’s temperature as much as possible while waiting for the doctor to arrive.
Lin Wen Xin replaced his towels very frequently and the servants were also very proactive in changing the water and getting new towels for her.
Very soon, Nanny Liang led the doctor up to the room. The lead doctor from Yue He Hospital had personally come down since he is the Wang family’s personal doctor.
Wang Shen Ze’s temperature has reduced by quite a bit, all thanks to Lin Wen Xin’s help.
The lead doctor then administered some medication and also advised her on some ways to care for him.
While waiting for Wang Shen Ze to wake up, Lin Wen Xin quickly went to prepare some shredded chicken congee for him.
Just as she entered the bedroom, she saw that he was trying to get up from his bed.
Lin Wen Xin rushed over, placed the bowl of congee down on his bedside table, before helping him to sit up. She then poured some water for him to drink.
“Shen Ze, how are you feeling??” She took a dry towel to dap lightly on his face and neck as she asked him worriedly.
“Mmm... I’m... going to take a bath.” Wang Shen Ze replied weakly. It seems like he really felt uncomfortable being drenched in perspiration.
However, Lin Wen Xin refused to let him do that, “The doctor just came by earlier. He said that you can’t take a bath yet. Why don’t you rest first, I’ll get some towels and help you clean up later?”
She continued to coax him, “Here, take some congee... I will get you your medication after this.”
Wang Shen Ze watched Lin Wen Xin as she blew on each scoop of congee gently before feeding it to him.
She is very pleased that he was so cooperative throughout the meal and had finished the entire bowl of food very quickly.
“I want to eat more.”
Lin Wen Xin was surprised at Wang Shen Ze’s sudden request.
“You want more congee? Give me a moment, I will take it for you now.” She happily agreed to it.
She was initially so worried that he might not have any appetite for the food but seeing that he has asked for more, of course she is overjoyed. This means that he could recover faster right?
Meanwhile, Wang Shen Ze did not know the reason for his big appetite.
Was it because the congee tasted great, or because he enjoyed her attentiveness and yearns for more of it?

The next few days went by like this, with Lin Wen Xin taking care of Wang Shen Ze round the clock.
She has also been sleeping on his sofa for the past few nights so she could easily be alerted whenever he requires any help.
But each time she wakes up, there would always be a thick blanket that would cover her completely so she wouldn’t catch a cold.
Even though she is very touched by his small gesture, she could not help but wonder, “Now who is taking care of who?”
Wang Shen Ze has also speedily recovered but he still demands for her to feed him. And he would eat several portions of food each time she does that!
Apart from taking care of each other, they have also started to chat more and became much closer than before.
Under Lin Wen Xin’s meticulous care, Wang Shen Ze had also fully recovered and was able to return back to work.

It is the day of the next meeting with Lin Corporation and the final design pieces were displayed in front of Wang Shen Ze and Yi Fan.
The works have met their expectations and they are finally ready to start filming the advertisement next week.
Since this is a collaborative project, both Sister Fei Yi and Lin Wen Xin are representing the Lin Corporation to assist in filming the advertisement.
Their main role is to oversee the team of stylists who would be styling the two main artists involved.
On the actual day of filming, Sister Fei Yi and Lin Wen Xin had reached the location much earlier than expected.
However, the filming set is in a huge mess, with the director and staffs moving frantically around the place.
“Director, is there something wrong?” Sister Fei Yi went over to check with him.
“Hais... the female artist suddenly backed out this morning. She injured her leg and won’t be able to film the advertisement anymore. Look at the time now, where are we going to find a...“
The director suddenly got distracted when he saw Lin Wen Xin standing nearby.
“... REPLACEMENT!!! We found a replacement!!” He shouted loudly and everyone turned to look at him with hopeful eyes.
The director quickly ran towards Lin Wen Xin who was still startled by his sudden loud roar, “Miss, will you be able to help us out and take over the female artist’s role?”
Seeing that she did not respond to him, he pleaded with her, “We are really going to be in deep trouble if we cannot start filming today. Will you please be able to do me this favour?”
