Flashback
As time flew by, Tiara started spending all her free time with Wylder. Whenever she felt like crying, alone and empty in her heart, she used to run to his place, into his arms.
Wylder masked his pain, his tears, and his jealousy whenever Tiara cried in his arms, by thinking of and missing Theodore, her ex-mate, but as time passed, Night’s patience started running out of time. He hated how she was ignoring their feelings and was in mourning over someone who had left her.
He hated that she wasn't, how more than one year had passed, and Tiara was still at the place where she was back then. It looked like either she wasn’t planning to fall in love again or was going to love Theodore all her life even though it was hurting her like hell.
A lot of time, he wanted to ask her, ‘Can they become more than friends?' But his stupid human was scared that it would change a lot of things between them, and given that he was hopelessly in love with Tiara, he didn’t want to lose her at any cost.
Night wanted to ask her, ‘After knowing that they love her, will she break their friendship? Or will she still consider him her best friend?’
He wanted to tell her that every time he used to talk about that stupid ex of hers, she used to hurt him a lot without even realizing the part that she was.
‘Please don’t tell anything to her. Please.’ Wylder requested, to which Night gritted his teeth.
‘Until when?’ Night growled at him. ‘You said that we shouldn’t rush. Well, I agree. But at the same time, I never agreed not to move at all. It had been more than a year, and now what? Just friends. And all this time, we didn’t make a single move.’
‘So, what do you want me to do? Claim her forcefully, or kidnap her for 365 days until she falls in love with us? Or caged her at the top of the tower?' Wylder asked in anger, shutting his Lycan’s big mouth. ‘Come on, tell me! What should we do?’
‘Don’t ask me a question like this because I will end up choosing what you have been doing. But at least make some moves. Take a risk without losing her.’
‘Seriously? Now, who is being a pussycat here?' Wylder scoffed. ‘Anyway, I’m planning to make a move tonight.
"Please tell us that we will get a chance to taste her lips."
‘What? Noooo’ Wylder immediately shook his head. ‘I’m going to ask her to move in with us. You know casually.’
‘Moon Goddess, this will be pure torture for me. How in the hell will I resist having her in the room next to mine because, obviously, we won’t be sharing the room?
"Do you want me to do that or not?" Wylder asked.
‘Fine!’ He grumbled. Wylder shook his head, sensing Lycan’s happiness. He knew he wanted him to run at the speed of a rabbit and was getting irritated with his slow approach. But one thing was common between them: neither of them wanted to lose her.
Wylder had a feeling that Tiara would reject him because she just considered him her friend.
For now, all he wished was that Tiara would agree to move in with him. After all, she used to spend all her free time at his home, watching movies, playing games, painting, cooking, and crying.
Well, there was an exception in cooking. It was he who used to cook, and she used to sit on the counter watching him cook. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to help, but he liked it that way. Her eyes were glued to him whenever he cooked for her.
He was in the middle of work when, out of nowhere, he received Tiara’s call.
‘Her schedule isn’t free today, then why is she calling?' He wondered and received her call with tension.
"Come home!!" Her slurred voice came from the other end as if she were drunk.
"But… Ara…"
"Comeeeee."
"Fine! Fine! Yours or mine?"
"Your home." Saying this, Tiara disconnected the call. Wylder looked at Zahir, signaling for him to handle the Alpha meeting in his place.
‘Why couldn't you say no to her?’ He mind-linked her.
‘Because I couldn't.' With that, he left from there. Zahir sighed and prayed to the Moon Goddess to give him the woman he had desired all his life.
"Do something, please."
