“Yes!! After all, this pack belongs to us.” Freya said as if she owned the pack. For a while, Arabella thought might be she might be sleeping with the Alpha, that was why she was so confident, and this pack was hers. “Alpha Miller once said, ‘An Alpha’s duty is to his pack members. Without them, he is no Alpha at all.’” Freya repeated the exact word that Wydler had spoken in front of all the pack members when he took control of this pack.
“You’re favoring that Alpha a lot. Did you two.. You know!!” Arabella asked with a smile, but deep down her heart with jealousy and anger.
“What? No… No…” Freya answered, shaking her head. “He is like a big brother to me.” She exclaimed before frowning, “You’re in his room. I should be the one asking you that, but then, that’s not my concern. I believe in minding my own business.” She added.
“I should be leaving now,” Freya said, closing the box that she had brought with her. Arabella observed that she wasn’t giving her a smile anymore. Looked like the question she asked hurt her.
“Hey!! I’m sorry. I don’t know what got into me. I hope you can forgive me.” Arabella spoke softly.
“It’s okay. I’m mad about your question. It’s just that… I don’t like the way you are showing disrespect through our Alpha.” Freya said, furrowing her eyebrow. “Listen… sorry I didn’t catch your name.”
“Ar… Arabella.”
“Listen, Arabella, everyone in the pack treats each other with respect, and we will treat you in the same way, but if you will disrespect our Alpha, then get ready to face the wrath of all the pack members because Alpha Miller might leave you, thinking you as a girl but we won’t.” With that, Freya left from there, widening Arabella’s eyes.
She couldn’t understand how any Alpha could be this good that each and every pack member would adore him so much.
There was nothing called PERFECT in this world.
‘Maybe… maybe he used his magic to trap into his delusion. Yes, the same thing would have happened.’ She thought. ‘I will show it to everyone that this Alpha isn’t as good as they think he is.’
She smiled, knowing that she had the plan to prove this. Since then, she didn’t have had the medicines that Freya gave to her. She had kept it hidden under her tongue and was planning to throw it away because she didn’t want to feel drowsy and fall into some trap. This used to happen with her in that hellhole. They used to keep giving her drugs from time to time because those fucker couldn’t handle an omega without a wolf in her sense. For now, Arabella wanted to take a risk and see what would happen to her.
She finally ate those medicines with the help of some water and went to bed to sleep but failed miserably to sleep in jeans.
She kicked it out of her lower part before sleeping peacefully.
When she woke up, it was already night, and dinner was kept on the table. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she was super duper hungry.
‘Nothing happened again. Maybe because Alpha will be busy with work.’ She freshened up before having her dinner. Once again, she had her medicine after that and slept again, feeling bored.
