Serena opened the door and her eyes widened in disbelief when she saw Chelsea's companion...
It was Gale!
"Oh,hello there,Serena! Congratulations to the both of us! The play was a huge success!" Chelsea happily greeted her. She suddenly stood up and gave her a a tight hug.
Chelsea looked genuinely sincere, and it puzzled her a lot. Where's that bitchy and annoying Chelsea she knew before?
"Uh, yeah. Congratulations to us." she awkwardly responded.
Her eyes are glued on Gale, who was also staring back at him. But the strange thing is, why is giving her an icy stare?
She was about to talk to Gale but her plan has to be put on hold when someone knocked at the door again.
Chelsea happily opened the door, and there was an old couple standing at the door, and they looked bizarrely familiar...
"Oh,Mr. and Mrs Hamilton! I'm really glad to see you again. Thank you so much for supporting the play, and we really appreciate your presence at the Gala Night." she greeted them.
Serena frowned, while looking more closely at the couple...
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton?
"You were absolutely phenomenal, Chelsea. And oh, you were also outstanding as well, Serena, my dear." Mrs. Hamilton greeted her as well,as she warmly smiled at her.
Uh oh... That smile looks recognizable to her.
"Yes! I really remembered Elizabeth while watching your performances." the old man chimed in.
And this old man reminds her of someone in the past.
"My gramps and Nana knew Elizabeth Montecarlo really well... They were best of friends back in their younger, golden days." Gale joined in the conversation.
Serena felt like she's going to have a migraine. Why did Gale call them "My gramps and Nana?" As far as she can remember, Elizabeth Montecarlo was Gale's grandmother...Right?
"I'm sorry to be rude but can I ask your names again? And what's your relationship with Gale?" she asked in a hurry.
Gale and Chelsea looked at her as if she's getting mad. The elderly couple looked a bit taken back as well, but they both smiled at her after a few seconds.
"I guess we'll have to introduce ourselves again... I'm Liam Hamilton, and this is my lovely wife, Katherine Hamilton... And Gale is our beloved grandson." the old man did the introductions.
Serena drew a sharp breath after hearing the old man... It was Liam, Elizabeth's ex-lover and Katherine, her bestfriend!
And why on earth did Gale become their grandson?!
Is this the result of what she did in the past?
"---You're coming to the after party, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton?" Chelsea suddenly asked them.
"Please, you can just call us Gramps and Nana. You're Gale's girlfriend, afterall." Katherine affectionately stated.
Serena felt like someone punched her in her stomach as she heard Katherine's statement.
Her decision in the past really had a huge effect in the modern time!

Serena did a bottom's up of her champagne while watching Liam, Katherine, Gale and Chelsea from afar.
They were all having fun and it makes her feel more depressed.
