"I'm sorry, but I'm really tired today. I'll take a rest now,so--I'll see you when I see you?" Serena tried changing the subject.
"Alright, I'll call you first thing in the morning. Take all the rest you need."
Then, without a warning, Walter gently grasped her shoulders and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. It was only a brief kiss, but it already sent a tingling sensation in every fibre of her body.
"Rest well, sweetheart." Walter smilingly said and then he gave her a playful wink.
After saying many goodbyes, Walter started walking away... Once he was out of sight, Serena giggled like a high school girl. Maybe she got a little crush on Walter Hayes, but she's sure that it's not that serious.
She decided to focus her attention to her current situation. She's now standing infront of Elizabeth's apartment, and she need the keys to get inside.
"Okay, let's see..." she started rummaging inside Elizabeth's bag. She smiled triumphantly as she found the only key inside the bag.
The door instantly opened once she puts the key into the hole.
She gasped in surprise as she walks inside Elizabeth's apartment. She absolutely love everything about the apartment. Everything looks so classy and elegant. The carpeted floor gave a sophisticated and homely feeling to her. She went outside to check the balcony and she almost forgot how to breathe when she saw the skyscrapers around her apartment building...
It has been a very tiring day for her. She has been mentally and physically exhausted. Getting more and more sleepy, she decided to lay down at the nearest couch and as soon as she closed her eyes, her mind instantly drifted to dreamland...
Serena was walking aimlessy on a semi-dark stage and she doesn't have any idea on why she's standing here.
"What am I doing here?" she whispered.
"---I need your help..."
Serena jumped in fright when she heard a woman's voice somewhere.
"W-Who are you?"
Her mouth went agape when someone suddenly step out from the shadows, and by the help of a small spotlight, she realized that it was--- Elizabeth Montecarlo!
"Holy molly! It's really you!" she gasped in shock.
Elizabeth Montecarlo was obviously unfazed by her shocked reaction.
"You can only go back to your own timeline if you can help me with something. I want you to listen carefully because I don't know when you'll see me again..."
Serena decided to calm herself and gave all of her undivided attention to Elizabeth.
"Don't marry Walter Hayes... And please stay away from Liam Hamilton. I also want you to apologize to them on my behalf. I made ruined their lives and I deeply regret everything..."
"I-I don't understand... How will I do it?" Serena asked, while feeling disoriented.
"My time's up, Serena. Please help me..."
Serena was about to say something but Elizabeth Montecarlo suddenly vanished into thin air. She kept on calling her name, but everything suddenly went dark again.
She never felt so desperate before, and more questions popped into her mind.
And she needs to find all the answer all by herself....
