"Wake up, Serena!"
Wait, why can she hear Brittany's voice? Her voice was so loud and clear and it feels like she's just close to her.
She then felt someone shaking her shoulders...
"Serena, wake up or else I'll slap you!"
That's very...Brittany.
She slowly opened her eyes and her vision was blurry at first. She can only make out a certain figure and everything else was not clear, so she decided to blink again. Again. And again.
Her vision became clear, and a sense of relief suddenly dawned on her when she finally saw Brittany's worried face. She then looked around and she's now damn sure that she's back in the year 2019!
She howled in disbelief, but she's delighted to see her bestfriend again.
"I missed you, Brit! It's been ages!" she gushed, while giving her friend a bear hug.
"What the hell are you talking about? We just had a drink last night, and you were complaining about being an understudy and you were bitching about Chelsea being the principal of your stageplay..." Chelsea said, but she still hugged her back, anyway.
Serena frowned after she heard everything. She quickly disengaged herself from Brittany.
"W-What? Chelsea got the principal role for Elizabeth Montecarlo's play? And I'm an understudy?"
"Yeah, you were bawling your eyes because of it! Why are you acting like you've got an amnesia?" Brittany suspiciously asked her.
She closed her eyes shut as she was trying to process this new information. What went wrong? Did she do something and it had a ripple effect in her own timeline?
She then put her attention back to Brittany.
"Do you know what's my schedule today, Brit?"
"Uh... You said this is the Gala Night for the play, and Chelsea's closing the show. You also told me that there's an after party for you, guys."
"Thanks, Brittany! You don't have any idea how much I'm happy to see you again. I'll talk to you later, and I'll tell you everything. But for now, I need to go to the theater and find out what really happened!" Serena said it all in one breath. After that, she jumped out from her bed to get ready to go out.
Brittany just looked at her bestfriend, while looking confused and curious.

The Gala Night show is finally over. As soon as the casts made their final curtain call, and once the show is officially over,she stood up and squeezed herself out from the huge crowd of audience...
Serena can feel her heart beating so fast as she was making her way to the backstage. She needs to go to the dressing room to see the changes with her very own eyes...
She took a deep breath to calm herself then, she knocked at the door.
"Come in!" she heard Chelsea's voice inside.
Serena opened the door and her eyes widened in disbelief when she saw Chelsea's companion...
It was Gale!
"Oh,hello there,Serena! Congratulations to the both of us! The play was a huge success!" Chelsea happily greeted her. She suddenly stood up and gave her a a tight hug.
Chelsea looked genuinely sincere, and it puzzled her a lot. Where's that bitchy and annoying Chelsea she knew before?
"Uh, yeah. Congratulations to us." she awkwardly responded.
