"Serena, wake up. We're infront of your apartment."
Serena groaned as she moved a little. She doesn't want to wake up because she wanted to feel Gale's warmth and relish on his sweet smell...
"Do you want me to throw you out from the cab?"
Serena instantly wakes up after Gale's warning. She doesn't want to be kicked out from the taxi and she doesn't want to annoy him any further...
She quietly step down from the car, and because she drank too much, she lost her balance. Gale was quick enough to catch her before she can fall unto the ground.
"It was unintentional! I really felt dizzy!" she quickly reasoned out.
And just like a miracle, Gale gave her a small smile. It was so brief and he went back to his usual stone-cold expression again.
Gale accompanied her up until the entrance of their apartment building.
"Goodnight, Serena."
"Would you like to have a nightcap?" Serena invited him because she wanted to talk to him more and she wants to ask him some questions.
Gale suddenly frowned and his stare felt colder than before.
"Why are you doing this?" he suddenly asked.
"What? What am I doing?" Serena asked back. Why did Gale suddenly went ice cold on her?
"Why are you staring to get clingy with me? Why are you flirting me eventhough you knew that I'm dating Chelsea now?"
"And that's one of the million questions I wanted to ask to you! When did you and Chelsea started dating? And why did you start dating her?" Serena bombarded him with more questions.
Gale raised his hands in the air as if surrendering.
"You know what, you're drunk and this conversation is meaningless. Talk to me again once you're sober. Now, go inside and let's call it a night."
Serena is furious, but Gale has a point. She can't control her mouth from saying stupid things because of the champagne. She can't think logically, so she won't be able to have a proper conversation with this man.
"Fine. But we need to have a serious talk next time." she curtly answered back. Afterwards she hurriedly went inside the apartment building and slammed the door right into Gale's face...
"You and your stupid mouth, Serena!" she angrily lectured herself once she's inside her unit.
She flopped herself into the couch and she instantly saw a note on the table.
"I'm out of town with my boyfriend and I'll be gone for three days. Once I get back, you need to tell me everything that happened at the after party. And you need to tell me your encounter with Gale after the break up..." - Brit.
After reading the note, her mind made a mental flashback on her conversation with Gale a while ago...
"Why are you doing this?" he suddenly asked.
"Why are you staring to get clingy with me? Why are you flirting me eventhough you knew that I'm dating Chelsea now?"
Oh my my my! So does it mean that they became a couple and they just broke up recently?
