Marriage Prison Chapter 85

"Are you going back to the hospital again?" Aleta asked Melvin, who was already dressed. They passed each other in front of the living room. Since returning from the hospital, Aleta had prepared some of her belongings not to leave anything behind. "I'm going to the office, I have an impromptu meeting. I'll be back at the hospital after office hours." "Can't you cancel that meeting? Then quickly go to the hospital what about your baby later? What if something happens?" Aleta urged. Melvin thought that there was a Jagad accompanying Danas. "There's that doctor taking care of her for the time being. So, take it easy." Aleta sighed, why did her son seem to not care about his pregnant wife? Melvin then stopped at the doorway. "Are you going to the hospital later?" "Yes, I'll be back there later. I'll pack some clothes for Danas. And some clothes for you, too." "Okay, thank you," Melvin said, and then he continued on his way. Aleta immediately packed, preparing Danas and Melvin's clothes so they could stay overnight at the hospital. Also preparing some of Aleta's own things. Assisted by Winda. Although Winda was still upset because Aleta had yelled at her, even slapped her. However, helping Aleta was an obligation for Winda, there was no other choice. "Put what I've taken from the cupboard," Aleta ordered in a firm tone. "Yes, ma'am," Winda replied, her eyes not speaking, but looking and taking in her surroundings. Like scanning every corner of the room. "Hey, don't daydream!" snapped Aleta, not liking that Winda was paying so much attention. "I-iya, ma'am," Winda stammered in reply. While Aleta went into the bathroom to pee, Winda stared at her back in exasperation. Aleta then turned around, even though she was already in the doorway. "I almost forgot. After this all the luggage, you bring it down. And prepare the car, I want to go straight to the hospital," she ordered directly. "Understood, right?" "Yes, ma'am, I understand," Winda replied. "Good. Come on, don't take too long," Aleta told her again. Meanwhile, during lunch, Jagad returned to visit Danas in the treatment room. " Get in!" shrieked Danas when she heard a knock on the door. Jagad appeared from behind the door, carrying a tray of food for Danas. "Lunch!" exclaimed Jagad as he smiled at Danas who was still a little pale. To be honest, Danas was surprised by Jagad's arrival, while carrying a tray of food as well? But, Danas thought Jagad's attitude was silly and funny. So, Danas chuckled, covering her mouth so that her voice wouldn't sound loud. "Why did you bring the food? Usually there's a nurse who brings the food," Danas said miserably. Jagad walked into the treatment room and just smiled, saying nothing. He just put the tray on the nightstand. Then he pushed the patient's dining table towards Danas' bed. "Please eat!" Jagad said cheerfully. He opened the plastic covering the stainless steel tray. Danas smiled awkwardly, slowly picked up the spoon, and bribed the food. "How is it? Is it delicious?" asked Jagad, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, facing Danas. Danas nodded, it felt like Danas wanted to eat anything right now. Because his stomach was always hungry. "If there's a lack of flavor, that's normal. That's how the chefs in the hospital are. Because of the condition of some patients," said Jagad with a smile. "But this is delicious," Danas said honestly. She continued to eat her lunch. "I think if you keep eating well like this, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow you can go home." "Why not now?" Danas seemed to be threatening or challenging Jagad. Waiting for an answer, Danas took a bite of her food while looking at Jagad. "I need the doctor who examined you to observe the condition of your fetus first. If there is no problem, you can go home as soon as possible." Danas then slowed down her hand movements. She was also not sure if it would be safe for her and her fetus to go home. The remaining food was only stirred by Danas. But then he took another bite of her food. "What's wrong?" asked Jagad, after seeing Danas' slowed down movements. There seemed to be a problem that Danas was harboring. Danas shrugged, "I just... wanna go home," she says lying the truth, she wanted to get away from home. Danas sometimes couldn't stand Melvin and the others in the house. Jagad wanted to strengthen Danas, she held the woman's fingers. Making Danas smile. There was relief in her heart, when she was with Jagad, Danas felt a little calm. "You'll be home soon, trust me," Jagad said later. He then got Danas some mineral water. "Here, drink this," the man handed him a glass filled with mineral water. "I thought you were thirsty after eating so much." Danas downed the mineral water immediately. Since the food tray was empty, Jagad removed the tray from Danas' sight. He put it on the empty table where the dirty tray was. For a moment, Danas winced, holding back his pee. Once again, Jagad worried about Danas who suddenly wanted to get out of bed. The woman reflexively replied when Jagad wanted to help her. "I just want to go to the bathroom." "Okay. I'll help you," Jagad said, his hand swiftly taking the infuse bottle - which Danas tried to grab. Because of her height, her hand didn't reach it. Danas was awkward herself, because it was like she couldn't do anything. He looked down, not wanting to look at Jagad. "You don't have to go into the bathroom," Danas said as she was about to turn the bathroom door knob. Jagad chuckled, holding the infuse bottle. He gave it to Danas. "I can't possibly go inside the bathroom, right? Be careful, just scream if you can't stand being in there. And, don't lock the door, always," warned Jagad lastly. "Yes," Danas replied with a smile, how silly Jagad was. Just going to the bathroom, there are so many messages, Danas thought. She then entered the bathroom. Hanging her bottle close to the water closet. Jagad was still waiting for Danas in front of the bathroom door. Until Danas finished and came out of the bathroom. Jagad then helped him, this time Danas didn't protest or deny much. Jagad's presence really helped Danas. Jagad pulled the blanket close to her body when Danas was on the bed. "Is it comfortable enough?" asked Jagad later. "Yes, thanks," Danas said, smiling at Jagad. Her hand then stretched out to the nightstand, wanting to get a drink. But, what the power didn't reach. "I'll do it," Jagad said later, once again swiftly fetching the mineral water on the nightstand. "You don't have to be reluctant with me. You can ask for help anytime." Jagad calmly handed the water to Danas. After finishing, Jagad took it from Danas and returned it to the nightstand. "You've been here too long, will no one be looking for your patients later?" teased Danas, who was only afraid that Jagad's performance would decline because Jagad was often in her treatment room. "I'm on my lunch break," Jagad glanced at his watch. "And it's still lunchtime. So there's no harm in it, right?" Danas could only smile sincerely for Jagad. "Thank you," the woman said again. Their eyes then turned towards the entrance. It creaked as someone opened it. Jagad's eyes widened as soon as he saw the figure who entered this treatment room. Aleta, who had traveled for thirty minutes from home, and carried a lot of clothes, could only stare at the entrance. Inside her daughter-in-law's treatment room, there was Dr. Jagad. "What, Dr. Jagad? What is he here for?" Aleta's pupils scanned the surroundings. Then her gaze returned to the room, Jagad's behavior seemed to like Danas. No matter what Jagad did, Aleta had never seen Melvin do this. Jagad stroked Danas' hair, then they chuckled. Like they were very happy just like a couple. "Is Danas having an affair?" asked Aleta in her heart. Sooner or later Melvin had to know how his wife was doing outside. Aleta, already burning with emotion, clenched her hands at her sides. " Just watch out, Danas if you have an affair!" exclaimed Dewinta still seeing that Jagad was quick to help. Aleta didn't care, she went straight into the treatment room, carrying her belongings. Jagad's eyes widened, he quickly excused himself. His face was so tense, stuttering, where snagka if it will be caught by Aleta. "I'll take my leave, lunch hour is over." Jagad said awkwardly, Aleta's eyes also made him nervous. "You also have to rest, right," she continued, waving and turning around. Finally Jagad looked down, not wanting to meet Aleta's gaze. The woman's face was so fierce. Like she was ready to pounce on anyone who messed with her.
