Sam p.o.v;
"Why does he missing classes these days?", I asked Luna.
"When will you stop asking about him to everyone?" Clara asked from behind me and continued, "if you want to know just go to his house. And stop nagging us!"
I shrugged my shoulders saying, "I just wanted to know."
Clara patted my head, "I can understand. You're just lovesick." and smiled.
Clara used to tease me with Wil when I liked him in the first place. So she continues it even after you know what happened. I didn't tell her about me and senior yet.
"I'm just worried and... He's only a friend."
"Okay. Lovebird." smirked and went back looking into her phone.
Luna showed her phone, "Take a Look at this! Your prince charming is finally here!"
I saw a picture where Wil was near the Basketball court in Fanclub Gc.
I rushed to the Basketball court. I saw Wil talking with someone in front of the club.
"Hey! Wil!", I waved to him as I was running towards him.
I got a call from Senior but I didn't attend.
Wil saw me when I called out his name but return the gaze to the person he was talking with before.
"Wil! Stop! Can't you hear me?"
Senior Called me again and I refused.
He stopped.
I stood in front of him.
"Why didn't you come to class these days? Are you sick?"
"Give me a break!" and walked.
Senior called me again. I don't know what's with him now? I got tensed.
"Hold it!", I stopped Wil and, "Can't you understand that I'm busy if I didn't answer the call!", yelled to Senior and hung up the call.
"if you got an important thing...carry on... I'm not in the mood to talk right now."
I shouted as he was walking faster than me, "What happened?"
"Go and ask your friend!" and left just like that.
I gotta admit this one.
He has long legs. Ugh!
Friend?...what friend is he talking about?...is it Blair? Did they get into a fight?
I went straight to Blair's house. Her mom said she isn't back from college.
I remember yelling to Senior. I felt bad about it, I wanted to apologise to him. I went to his home. Their restaurant wasn't open yet. Mom wasn't there too. I walked around and found Ace.
"Isn't mom home?", I asked Ace.
"She went out!", he said.
"What about Senior? Is the home?"
"He's not."
I called him on the phone.
Ace ran upstairs and came in a moment.
"He left his phone behind."
"Ok. Tell him to call me...", I left the place.
I came home.
I jumped into bed. Damn! I'm so tired of running behind people.
Someone licked me.
"Corey!..." I lifted him. "Can I ask you something?"
He barked.
"Friends?... I know... we're rivals but... Can we be friends from now?"
He jumped from my hands and licked all over my face.
"Can I take that as a yes?"
He barked and licked me again.
At least for now someone is beside me.
Next day,
I went to Senior's class in the morning, "Is Senior Calix here?"
"No!...but I think he'll be on the basketball court because There's a game coming on Wednesday.", his friend said.
I nodded.
"Can I inform him?"
"No! It's okay. And... thanks, Senior."
I came to class. Wil was there. Looking into his phone.
I sat beside him.
"Hey! I heard you quit the team. Why did you do that?"
He kept silent and looked into his phone.
I took his phone out of his hands. I know that makes him mad. Because he doesn't like others grabbing things from him.
I thought I shouldn't have done this.... he'll be mad for sure but instead he said subtly, "What do you want?"
Thank god. I'm escaped.
"What happened?"
He stood from his place, grabbed my hands and dragged me out of the class and stopped when we reach the empty hallway.
"You wanna know the truth. Okay. Did you heard about the party in Blair's house a week ago?"
"Yes, I do..."
He continued, "I saw your friend, Blair. In a bed. With another guy."
"What!?!?"
"Can I go now?" he started to walk.
I stopped him, "She'll never do that!"
"I'm just saying what I saw", he shrugged off his shoulders.
"No! It can't be!", I fought back.
"You said you're my friend. But you're defending her."
"I have to! Because she won't..."I don't know what to say and stood there.
"I'm heading to class. Are you coming?", He asked.
He left after I remained silent.
I stood there for a moment and went to Blair's department. When I entered her class. She wasn't there. I asked one of her classmates. Her classmate said she's been on leave for almost three days.
In Blair's house,
"Blair! Open the door!", I yelled.
"I know you're in there." I banged on the door.
After some time of banging her door, I heard sobbing. I bet she's crying behind the door.
Finally, she spoke from the other side of the door, "You believe him right!"
"If I believed him, I wouldn't be here! Idiot!" And continued, "Open this goddamn door!"
She opened the door finally.
I hugged her and swiped her tears away.
She started, "Jack drugged me since I rejected his proposal on that day. And Wil saw me with Jack."
She continued, "I got my senses and pushed jack away and ran back to Wil after that....All he said was breaking up with me..." continues sobbing, "Moreover... I don't wanna show this ugly face to others. I'm embarrassed. That's why I didn't come to college."
"I know we're not close as we were in high school. Don't forget that I'm still your friend. I'm here for you." And continued, "Then why did you cry in front of me?", I mocked her.
Blair said, "Because your my friend." and hugged me again.
I patted her and said, "Blair, you shouldn't feel embarrassed in front of your friends. They won't leave you for being a crybaby. We're not with you because of your good looks. It's because we're buddies by heart."
She hugged me tightly.
"I missed this!", she said.
I asked, "Can I talk with him?"
"No! If he loved me truly he should have trusted in me. No reason should be proof to believe. If we try to prove things in love then we'll be proving till the end. I'm fed up with proving Sam. You still can be his friend. But don't talk for me."
"Blair you're scaring me. Are you ok with this?"
She smiled and asked, "Hey! Wanna be my girlfriend?"
"I'm sorry. Because I already have one."
"Girlfriend?", she teased me.
"Boyfriend!"
Blair laughed and hugged me again.
"Hey! This is a friendly hug right?"
We two broke into laughter.
I said, "It's good to laugh with you again. It's been months."
"Yeah!", she said with a smile on her face.
I went home straight after that. Even though she laughed I can see her pain.
Misunderstanding is one hella problematic issue ever. Because most of the couples break up by this.
I wonder why I didn't get any calls from him yet. Maybe he's busy because of the game. I shouldn't nag him. Good luck with the game Senior.
