I took a scroll through Facebook and was amused to discover that 90% of my newsfeed was dominated by Guy proposing a girl while I'm searching for a 'Girl proposing a Guy'.
I thought, 'is Girl proposing a guy is that rare?'
It is more complicated now... so it means that... I have to figure it out on my own. But I have no idea and I'm scared too. I lost Wil because of my fear of proposing. After seeing Senior being in all lovey-dovey with me I didn't think I would land up here again.
"Ughhhh!!!", I shouted forgetting that I'm still in class.
Everyone laughed.
"Keep silence!", mam shouted at me and continued with her class.
Clara poked me from beside me and asked, "Hey!"
I said quietly, "Nothing."
She nodded and went back to listening to class.
After college got over, I stopped Clara before parting in our ways, "Do you have some time? I...I need to say something."
"Shoot it!"
We started walking while I began to speak.
I started, "The thing is..."
Before she started speaking her phone rang but she didn't take the call instead she stared at her phone.
"What happened?", I asked.
She said, "It's Dave. He asked me whether I want a ride. I already said I'll go with you but I don't know why is he calling again."
"Take it. Maybe it's important."
"Nah. He's always like that. You said you wanted to say something. What is it?"
"I don't like Wil anymore."
She looked surprised.
I continued, "Yeah. Because I like someone else now."
"Wait! Don't say me that person is...", she startled for a moment.
I smiled and nodded, "Yes. I like Senior."
She acted like she's fainting, "So it's reel to real couple?"
I laughed, "Yeah !... And I planned to propose to him. I'm not gonna sit back holding onto my fears like before anymore."
"That's grown-up talking!"
She patted on my shoulder.
She continued and looked curious, "But some days ago... he made a post like...saying that he broke up with you. What about that?"
How can I tell her even I don't know the truth too?
"Yeah... Unfortunately, before confessing he rejected me." said with pouty lips.
Clara suddenly hugged me, "Sorry Sam! Sorry for not being there for you. Are you okay now?"
"Yeah. I'm totally fine. And...I wasn't alone. I had help."
"Who's that?", she asked.
"I'm sure You won't believe me."
She got curious, "Who?"
"Ace!"
"What!?"
"Even I didn't thought he would have this kind of side. I never thought I would say this but He's good!" and smiled.
"That's weird. So what about the proposal?
"That's where I'm struck. I have no idea about that."
I sighed.
"Babe! You can do this!... And I forgot to say this. Some days ago, Senior asked me about you."
I'm surprised.
I got excited, "What did he say?"
"Calm down!... He asked how are you doing and stuff like that."
"Awwww! He cares!", I was so happy that he asked about me.
"Ewww! It's weird to see you like this. But it's fine. Finally, my girl is in love."
I laughed and shouted, "I'M GONNA DO MY BEST!"
She waved to me saying, "Back to earth!"
We broke into laughter again.
I bid her goodbye and parted in our ways.
I'm so happy after knowing he cares for me.
I shouted, "HERE I COME!"
"Where?", someone said from behind me.
I turned to take a look at who that is.
Wil waved, "Hi! Ready for the hotpot?"
What is he saying?
"Forgot?... I thought so. Come let's go", he grabbed my hand and started walking.
I didn't felt this before but after hearing them telling about Wil's behaviour. It does hit me now.
"Didn't you go home?", I asked.
"I waited for you." He gave a sweet smile.
That's weird. All the things I wished to happen is happening right in front of my eyes but... Omg! I don't wanna go over through this again.
Finally, we came to the restaurant. I had a chance to deny it but I felt hungry though. I dig into the meal once it arrived. The spicy braised meat was well cooked in broth tasted so good that made me forget everything.
"Are you free this Saturday?", he asked while dipping his shrimp warp in chilli sauce.
I swallowed my delicious meat, "yeah" and continued with my meat.
"I have something to say."
Don't he know talking is prohibited during eating?
"What?", I asked.
He looked nervous. I gotta talk before whatever he's gonna say next.
"Uhm...Before that... Don't get mad at me. But don't you miss Blair? She said not to talk about this to you but I couldn't hold it. Don't you miss her?"
"I do but I like someone else now."
Omg! He likes me now! What the hell! All the things I wanted... I can't bear this anymore. Why are you doing this to me Wil?
"I like Calix."
"What?!... But he said he broke up with you."
"Does that mean I should stop loving him?... Fights do occur but that doesn't mean we should stop loving each other right... Blair may seem happy but deep down she misses you a lot. And I can see that you do too. Just call her. I bet you two will get back together once you talk with each other. You two are my favourite couple Wil! Please..."
The whole talking stuff wasn't me at all! I think it comes from the delicious meal that went into my tummy.
Even though I got a chance to say that I was in love with him before but I didn't... sobs... sobs... I'm not gonna regret though. Some things are better left unsaid.
He remained silent.
I asked, "What are you thinking?"
"About what you said."
"Call her!", I insisted on him.
"Right now?", he asked.
"Yeah! You shouldn't delay for these things."
I gave a thumbs while eating my juicy meat.
He took his phone and gave a bright smile and went out to talk.
Now it's my turn Senior!
Before that! I should finish this meal.
