Charles’s words sent chills down my spine and my lower part cheered and did its job by hearing the two choices he had in his mind. Raised up in an orphanage, there were different kinds of people I was friends with. Some of which were very innocent, some of them were not at all innocent, and the rest of them came somewhere in between the two levels of extremity. Besides, I have had a sexy imagination ever since.
So, it didn’t take me any time to relate what he said with the feelings that I had for him in my mind. I only hoped that the wish of mine would become a reality because it was high time to live like that. But because I wasn’t sure if he really meant to say what I assumed, so I chose to act dumb. Also, I did not want to push him away from that area where he was gradually coming. Hence, I replied, “How will you punish me, and what will the bargain be?”
“Which one would you choose?” He questioned me one more time, that left me in charge of choosing the treatment he should give me for what I did. Even though I had only been considerate for having left his house just for one night because I didn’t want to be a third wheel, but I still played along with him as I was loving the attention that he was giving me at that point by giving me two of such sexy options to choose from.
“Bargains are always attractive, but I’d like to be punished for now because I shouldn’t have assumed,” I answered.
“You want me to punish you?” Charles clarified.
“I just want you to be happy with me,” I responded.
“Punishment you want?”
This was not going to stop until I said what he wanted to hear. That is what made me say, “Yes, please.”
“Perfect. So, get off the car and walk with me back inside the house,” he replied.
As Charles and I walked back together to get inside the house, the watchmen looked at us very differently. I saw there were two servants waiting for us in the hall sitting on the bench. And Charles walked straight to the couch and signalled one of the servants to get him his beer. He looked at me as he sat down and asked me to join him with a big nod.
Walking up there was a little scary because we had one other guy in the room with us, and I didn’t know what punishment he planned to give me for planning to stay with a friend for the night after assuming that he was talking to another girl on the phone when he was actually talking to his cousin’s daughter.
He gave me a taste of being in a relationship with him much before we actually got into one. Anything that he would have asked me to do at that point, I would have done it without any ifs and buts. It was my chance as I was put on the spot that night.
When I sat next to him on the couch that he was sitting on, he looked at me and asked, “Which friend’s house were you going to spend the night at?”
“L-L-Liam,” I answered hesitatingly.
“Why would you spend the night at a male friend’s house?”
“Because I h-have nothing to worry about.”
“How so?”
“I am not in a relationship to put my partner’s feelings first.”
“Why are you not in a relationship?”
“Because you haven’t asked me out yet,” I responded spontaneously without thinking much because I was getting irritated answering so many questions of his.
There was pin-drop silence after I said that. I had instantly stuck my tongue out and felt stupid for telling him that as I had no plans to indirectly let him know what I thought about him and also what my expectations from him were at that point.
In the meantime that the servant got my beer from the refrigerator at the bar, Charles had a smile on his face the entire time. I started hoping very hard that I shouldn’t have gone overboard and behaved like the other chicks that he had been with. As it was evident that the expectation which I lay in front of him wasn’t anything new to him from the way that he was showing all the thirty-two teeth in his mouth.
Till the time that we finished our beers, there was silence and only the sound from the television could be heard. I was impatient to hear something from him, but it was scary to start a conversation with him by disrupting him in the way that he was watching TV. In about twenty to twenty-five minutes, Charles finally said, “Go to your bed, Olive. It is late.”
While I got up to do as he said, it is difficult for me even now to understand, and I don’t know if it was the beer that I had which made me do the talking, but I mentioned, “It is late for you as well, my dear. Come, we will go to our rooms together.”
Switching off the television, he got up from where he was sitting, and as we climbed up the stairs, he put his hand on my waist. Firstly, I stopped as I couldn’t believe what was happening. But then he gently applied a little force to get me to climb another step as he didn’t stop at all.
I was looking at him the whole time until we reached the first floor and had to go separate ways for our bedrooms. Expecting him to either take me to his room with him or to come into mine, I started to walk very slowly in the direction of my room. But he said nothing to me. Instead, he took steps to get to his as I was also doing the same thing and walking to mine.
He stopped in front of the door of his room and turned back to see if I had reached. He waited for me to open the door of my room and step inside. Only then he followed to get inside his room. This was frustrating!
But I changed my clothes and went to bed. I slept with the hope that the sun would shine differently the following day considering the things that happened that night.
