Right when I was about to fall down, someone who was also walking in the corridor but coming in my direction, took a few steps at a very fast pace and caught me in a jiffy, just in time. I fell on him and my boobs hit his chest, bam!
Our bodies got so close, but that was only because he saved me from falling to the floor, which would have been very embarrassing for me on my first day at work. He smelled amazing, and his body also felt very firm to me. Even though I fell down on him, and I had to get back up on my own feet, I hoped for him to at least be good-looking.
Immediately as this happened, Charles turned around and put his phone in his pocket. The expression on his face told me that he was not very happy. It was dicey if he was furious seeing me fallen and being so close to someone else as I was still in his arms when he turned around, or if it was because I tripped and fell at work.
After I saw him getting infuriated, I stood up instantly and didn’t even look at the man who caught me and saved me from falling. Instead, I looked at Charles and as he started to walk to his office again, I followed him without any delay.
A little embarrassed and felt stupid somewhat after that because I obviously did not do that on purpose. Maybe it was because of the heels which I had worn after a very long time of not going to work, but the very first incident at work with him upset me. I had a different impression of the way that I was expecting my first day to be like; wanting to create an amazing impression of me on him, but that got all fucked up.
But I was the one who got a bigger shock when we walked into his office, which was undoubtedly very well-organized and in an impeccable state. What caught my attention in his office was the three work tables that were outside the main cabin where he used to sit. The three work tables were also in order, but the one thing that I didn’t understand were the smiles of the girls who were sitting there.
Before anything else, seeing such beautiful girls who were dressed very well and had their assets showing very well in the formal attire that they were wearing. Had the skirt been shorter by only a centimeter more, it would have looked slutty. Even if one more button of their shirts had been open, their big bosom would have barged out of that thin fabric shirt, or rather, it would have torn it. Their heels were bigger than I had ever worn.
Seeing them smiling at Charles when we walked into the office brought me back to reality. I felt stupid once again for thinking that Charles had some feelings for me because I stood nowhere close to the girls he even kept around and was surrounded by professionally and personally.
I didn’t wear such a bright lipstick shade, didn’t even have a body like them. The clothes which I wore were very simple which didn’t reveal any part of me. But then I suddenly remembered that he bought me new formal dresses at the Gucci store in the morning before we got to work. In fact, he didn’t comment on my dress at all, which gave me enough of a reason to feel comfortable at work.
It suddenly occurred to me that the kind of new dresses that he got for me were enough to explain to me the reason that he must have chosen them without asking me if I liked them or not. As I understood that he was not expecting anything from me, he knew exactly the things that I did and the way that I was back then in the start.
He accepted me the way that I was since the very beginning and let me stay in his house. But that was one another thing on which a big question mark was put because when he could have gotten any girl who would have happily agreed to stay with him, not only in his house but also get in bed with him, why would he have chosen me?
Above all, he gave me a separate bedroom and also a car of my own. It confused me a lot when I saw every other girl he was surrounded by. And very clearly, the other secretaries of his were interested in him. Their behavior, their smiles, their attitude, and especially the way that they bent on the table was the stamp of their liking.
If Charles used to be sitting and any of those girls had to get him to sign a document or explain some issue that they were told, they would suddenly start defying gravity. They used to bend on the table to reach him which obviously gave Charles an open invitation with their full cleavage being displayed to him and their bazooms seriously coming out of their florescent colored bras which was covered with a thin fabric of white shirt fabric.
The first day of mine at work was pretty much of the sort only where I was observing everyone and everything. It made me form certain opinions of my own. Till lunch I was just settling in and getting used to the new environment that I would be spending a lot of my time in. Every person who saw me with Charles gave a very weird expression on seeing me.
Almost the whole day went by like that, and I didn’t realize how soon it was already time to go back home. While we were in the car, coming back home late in the evening that day, I thought of asking Charles why he gave me the privilege of living with him because it was changing my life in ways I couldn’t have ever imagined.
As I looked at him and his eyes also lay on me, without any delay, I asked, “Why me?”
