Tears creep into my eyes and I try to blink it back but I can't and my eyes blur up.
I can't believe he's saying this to me.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry." He says softly with sad eyes. "I just wanted you to know the truth."
I shake my head, wanting to stop, crying and making him feel guilty, but I can't seem to bring remorseful to. I pull off my glasses to wipe off the tear stain in my eyes, but a hand reaches there before mine and I look up to see Rory standing before me gently wiping off my tears before wearing back my glasses. His eyes linger in mine and compel me to do the same as he lowers his hand to my chin ad tilts it up before lowering his head.
My eyes close on their own accord as his hot breath hit my face and await what is to come.
"I wanna throw up hun." He mumbles suddenly and my eyes open and I step back as he quickly covers his hand. I glance around the room and see a door and praying that it's the bathroom, I take his hand and pull him along. I open the door and sees it's the bathroom and immediately I open the toilet seat and Rory kneels before it and begins to puke his guts into it.
"I'm sorry." He apologizes pathetically as he spits into the toilet.
I rub slowly over his back, which tenses up to this gesture. "It's okay. You don't have to apologize."
"I'm sorry." He says again.
"Shhh. You're done?" I ask and he nod and I help him to the basin and turn the tap on and he begins to wash his mouth and I take the time to flush the toilet. But when I come back on to Rory, I see him wet and dripping.
My eyes narrow in confusion and he looks up at my questioning look and pouts before saying. "My bad. I think I'll stink."
His voice sounds sober, which I think is a good thing considering the predicament I'm in now.
"Come on then take a quick bath in the shower and I'll get you new pair of clothes."
"Why do you have to be so sweet?"
The question takes me by surprise and I stay silent for a while for lack of the appropriate words. "'Cause right now you are so innocent and adorably." I mutter under my breath, hoping he does not hear though.
A wide grin ghost his beautiful face and I know he heard it. "That's why I love you." He whispers lowly and his cheek warms up as he begins to fumble with his t-shirt in an attempt to pull it off. I race out of the bathroom before the want I feel for him becomes unbearable and I decide to join him in the shower and I already know the outcome won't be so great.
I decide to call Keenan as he is the only one I can trust and count on now.
"Hello, Keenan? Where are you?" I nervously ask, pacing around the room restlessly.
"Where I am does not matter, but what I'm doing and you're interrupting does matter." I almost facepalm realising he's probably meeting his needs.
"I found Rory you perverted fool," I snap, not as angry as I want to be.
"Where did you find him?" He asks with a voice of interest as well as worry
I roll my eyes, "Well won't you want to know?" I found him in the hall, but he needs new clothes."
"Then why are you calling me?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"No, it's not, that's why I'm asking you."
"He's drunk, that means I can't leave him so you have to bring him clothes."
"I can't, I'm in the middle of a heated sex and to abandon it would be suicidal to my man-tool."
"Seriously?! You're putting sex over your best friend, I can't believe this!"
"I'm sorry, got to go."
"Keenan, don't you d-" the line goes off before I can complete my sentence.
I gasp in disbelief, staring at my phone in awe. Did he just hang up? How do I do this alone now?
"Something wrong?" I almost jump when hear Rory's concern voice from across the room and I turn to him with scrutiny eyes.
"No." I shake my head, quickly hiding the phone in my purse behind my back.
"You sure?" He raises a brow at me.
My answer runs out of my mouth when he shakes his head into a towel he's holding in his hand as his muscles flex perfectly. My eyes scan his wet hair that's dripping down to his chest which I notice is now bare. I swallow nervously as my eyes follow water that drops on his chest and travel down his flat, muscled stomach, down into his lean hips where he hangs his loosely worn jean trousers. My cheek glows red when I realise his gaze has been on me all the while I was staring at him.
I'm staring, but who can blame me? He's perfection on legs.
"Hun?" He draws me into the acknowledgement of his presence and the strength of his voice makes me realise he's soberer than the last time I saw him in the bathroom.
"N-no." I stutter in a shaky and uncertain voice.
"You sure?"
"Yes, how are you feeling?"
"Sober with a headache." He gives me a slight smile, exposing his sinful dimple. "Thanks, I don't want to know what would have happened if it was Paris who saw me."
I bark out hard unladylike laughter at the thought of Paris losing her last composure. "Well let's be glad that didn't happen."
"It's all thanks to you." A mischievous smirk dances to the corner of his lips as he asks. "What do you want in return? Ask and you shall have it."
You. It's that simple.
I open my mouth, but the words don't come out the way I intend them to. "I. I- want... I damn it!"
"Why don't you stop fighting what you want?" He says, sucking on his bottom lips like he normally does and like always it sets fire to my whole being. "We both want each other, Taylor, you don't have to deny what you feel 'cause I know the truth."
My hands clench to myself, digging my fingers into my arms and looking away because I begin to find it hard to look up in fear he'll see the fire he's started within me. "I'm not fighting you," I answer more to myself than to him.
"Prove it."
The next thing I know, my lips are locked in his and my arms are wrapped around his shoulder and he goes instantly around my waist, hauling me even closer to his hard form so that my body feels like his. His tongue works its way in my mouth briefly before he pulls away.
He breathes heavily, "What were you thinking Taylor?!" He exclaims dramatically and I raise a lost eye at him. "Dresses like this I consider temptation. It's also pure wickedness if you ask me." He mumbles.
I wiggle my eyebrow at him. "The temptation is meant for one man."
A longing groan erupts from his mouth before he crashes his lips on mine, our tongues wrapped together in a perfect pair and his hands wander from my waist down to my bottom with his large hands. He takes me up and I wrap my legs around him and he leads me to the sofa and lets me down before he kneels between my legs. My hand slowly begins to explore the body that has had me longing and wanting for a long time, up from his broad shoulder down over the v-line of his hip bone and up again only to stop where the healing scar of the gunshot is. I run a light caress over the skin and he reacts sensitively.
"Goodness, hun! It's so hard." He moans loudly. "I want you in ways I've never wanted anyone." The fire in his eyes as he says this can't be ignored, and neither can his hard heat that rest between my legs be put aside. His hands claim my legs, which the gown exposes to his eyes and dragging hungrily and exploring his territory, he deepens the kiss.
His hands go to the strap of my dress and pull it down, leaving me with nothing but my strapless bra. Instantly feel a sting of panic build up within me and I suddenly become self-conscious and begin to pull away from him.
He doesn't fight me, he just lets me go but his eyes show worry. "Did I do something wrong?"
"I can't do this. I'm sorry."
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks in a cool more composed and calm voice.
I don't know if I want to, but I don't want to make Rory pay for a wrong of Toby, or push him away because of my problem.
I tell him everything about the night Toby forced himself on me and the assault he'd inflicted on me and the look on Rory's face is murderous and angry and I fear I made a mistake telling him. "He threw me out the next day telling me how disappointed he was that I couldn't give a simple, good fuck. It's healing, but his voice is there, laughing and making jokes." I whimper and cover my face up with my hand unable to bear the look on his face.
"I'm sorry Taylor for what you had to go through, and I can't begin to imagine... That coward! will pay, I promise you." He apologises softly, even with bitterness his hands taking hold of mine and pulling them away. "You don't have to be afraid I'm not going to go against your wishes 'cause I love you and if anything is to happen between us, it would be because we love each other and want it to happen."
Feeling grateful I say, "Thank you." I kiss him on his red, swollen lips and he kisses back tenderly, coaxing me to relax against him. Slowly he lowers me on the sofa and his body hovering above mine. His lips swim down my neck and begin to trace small but powerful, intoxicating kisses there and then the door opens to our surprise.
