Flashback
Third POV
He adjusted his glasses as he walked into his Physics class. Like away ways, he was the first to come to class and so he can avoid being bullied, he took the front seat where he'll be under the teacher's eyes and settled in it waiting and praying that the physics teacher just like always would arrive before his bullies.
A few students entered and Mr Jefferson was nowhere to be found. He adjusted and shifting in his seat like it was starting to burn him. Contemplating whether to go to the restroom and wait there for a few minutes until Mr Jefferson would probably have entered. That's a great idea he thought to himself and got up, hurrying to get out of the room as fast as he could.
He regretted his action when he saw Pascal and Luke standing at the door. He took a quick breath and tried to act as composed as he could, but who was he kidding? His hands were already trembling from fear.
You'd think being the son of the richest man alive would make you invisible, but that the last thing he felt now that he was standing in front of the boy that was terrorising and making his high school years a misery.
"Well, well, well. Where's our little man going to?" Pascal asked, giving him a curious face then he turned at Luke to ask, "where's he going?"
Luke cluelessly shrugged with a stupid smug look Rory wanted nothing more than to punch off. "Where are you going to?" He asked, bending a little so he could stare face to face with his prey.
Rory didn't dare say anything, too afraid to say the wrong words. "Cat got your tongue?"
He blinked and shook his head. "No," he said barely loud for even him to hear.
A wicked grin settled in his face and he took a step forward towards where Rory was standing. Smartly enough, Rory moved back, gripping on to his bag so hard that he could ascertain that his nails were tearing the leather wool bag hanging around his shoulders.
"I j-just want to u- use the bathroom." He stuttered and he scowled at him like he just slapped him with a hot knife.
He pushed him roughly and he stumbled against the chairs in the classroom. "What do you say?" He snared.
"Thank you."

He closed his eyes and swallowed down the sob that tried to break out of his mouth, knowing that a sob would only make them hit him harder, but when the class began to chuckle and giggle, the helpless cry he was trying to hide broke forth and he covered his mouth, but it was too late. Pascal first slammed against his face, shattered his glasses and sent him stumbling on the floor. His hand broke at the force with which he had landed on the ground with. The whole class sprang to their feet trying to get a better view of what was taking place, but none took note that he had a bleeding cheek.
He groaned, not seeing what was happening before him, but through the dim light he saw some people fighting and he could hear the exchange of blows and punches and after a few minutes the whole class stilled and he feared what was happening as the dim light faded and it was replayed with utter darkness. He could still hear footsteps as they drew closer and tried to crawl away, but he was too weak to.
"Give me your hand, mate and we'll see you to the clinic." Came a deep strange Italian accented voice.
Weakly he lifted his hand and a pair of strong hands took it and yanked him up in one motion. Feeling weak and hurt, he leaned heavily on the stranger who held his right hand and had his shoulder with his left.
"Come on, buddy, the clinic, if this wretched school has one, shouldn't be hard to find. Yes?"
He nodded weakly. "It's a little hard to find and I can't see"
"What the f... Well, who amongst you losers would want to show a new kid and a poor blind kid the way to the clinic?" He asked and if Rory wasn't feeling like shit, he would have laughed because he knew how the students were towards him.
"Okay then." He began in a more cruel and harsh voice. "IF SOMEONE DOESN'T FUCKING SHOW ME THE CLINIC I CAN TAKE THIS POOR BLIND KID TO, THEN I SWEAR ON FUCKING JUDAS' GRAVE THAT WHAT JUST HAPPENED WITH THESE TWO LOSERS WOULD BE THE LEAST OF YOUR PROBLEM!"
"I'll show you." Came a guys voice from the front.
"No, I'll show you." Another countered.
"I'll show you."
The students began to walk towards them, but the stranger stopped them when he spoke. "I need one person." He saw a pretty brunette behind the throbbing students. "Hey pretty." He smiled at her. "Come show me the way to the clinic love, yes?"
The girl comes to them and they walk out of the classroom.
One hour later
A new pair of glasses were given to Rory for him to be able to see and his cut stitched. When Rory came out, he could finally see the one who had brought him in. He was new, that also was true and that's why the new boy had helped him.
On seeing him, the new boy got up and walked to him. "You're okay?"
Rory nodded. "You shouldn't have helped me, now you're gonna be in trouble."
"Fucking Judas! What are you saying? Those dick heads were going too far and the students were all watching."
"You curse a lot." He pointed out and the red-haired kid mouth shut.
"I'm Keenan Hilton, I'm new here because I just moved to a new state." He stretched his hand towards Rory for a shake.
"I'm Rory John Gate."
"Gate?" He repeated like he didn't hear it the first time.
Rory nodded a little.
"My dad and your dad are friends, you know? Anyway, nice to meet you."
