Immense levels of Qi swirled around inside the Evil Cultivators Pill Cauldron. And while it steadily increased in intensity, Azmodeus sat in his usual cross-legged position, contemplating the profundities of the essence of Formations and Runes.
It was in this deep state of pondering that he realized that there was absolutely no way that the Evil Cultivator could put up such a complex and intricate rune formation.
To begin with, even the most talented of heavenly geniuses who put hundreds of years of effort into comprehending the two professions would find themselves hard pressed to even reach the Low-Sky Rank in both of the two very different professions.
However, this formation was definitely of the Peak-Sky Rank, if not infinitely close to the Earth Rank. And Azmodeus was one hundred percent sure that the Evil Cultivator was no Heavenly Genius and had likely acquired all of his cultivation through the evil actions that he committed over the years.
This was all veering toward the notion that this Formation was likely not even set up by the Evil Cultivator and was, in actuality, the result of him using some form of Formation Scroll or Rune Tablet.
Furthermore, considering that it had both Formations and Runes incorporated into it, there was a high chance that it was an extremely rare and sought after Rune Formation Stele!
Additionally, when you include the fact that it was at the very minimum of the Peak-Sky Rank, it was extremely probable that this particular Rune Formation Stele was comparable to the value of a high-level Qi Gathering formation array!
A Qi Gathering formation array was what one who was proficient in the arts of Formations and Arrays could make as long as their comprehensions were high enough.
However, that wasn't the point of it being mentioned; it was instead because, just like Rune Formation Stele's, Formation Arrays of decent quality were absurdly expensive!
In fact, they were so expensive that even the king of the Fire Nation would find himself and his kingdom in deep sh*t if he one day decided to splurge on one…
Azmodeus continued his comprehensions of the Formations and Runes that enveloped the Pill Cauldron.
Although he acquired enough understanding of the profundities of both abstruse concepts, he still wished to fully solidify not only his cultivation foundation and his Alchemy Foundation, but also his foundational understanding of both Formations and Runes.
To recount, it was on the half-year mark since his being trapped in the Pill Cauldron that he reached a state of perfect coalescence—a state that was hard to achieve even for the most talented of Heavenly Geniuses!
