Nothing makes any sense…
What exactly is going on here??
No matter how Azmodeus thought about it, there were a few things that just didn't make even the slightest bit of sense…
After a few moments of deep thought, he decided that thinking any further from that point onward would only veer his thinking process in the wrong direction.
Sigh…
"Whatever, I will just ask this 'Ancestor' myself when I get the chance."
Following this thought, Azmodeus turned his apathetic gaze up to the approaching figures.
The loot bags had decided to offer themselves up on a golden platter!

Three months later, in the depths of the Outer Section of the enormous territory that made up the River Serpent Sect.
"This is where the Elder said that Weasel was, so why do I not see him anywhere in sight??"
An ancient, raspy voice resounded, as an old man with long gray hair, wearing a bright set of purple and golden robes, scanned the vibrant scenery around him with his divine sense.
This old man was well into the Peak Soul Transformation Realm, and he, along with three others in the same stage, had been hunting the intruder that blew up their Ancestor's Artifact for the past half a month.
However, every time they thought they had the slimy eel, he seemed to completely vanish from all radars!
At this point, it was becoming beyond annoying, as hundreds of Soul Transformation Realm Experts and thousands of Nascent Soul Realm Master's were feeling immense frustration at the man who always happened to get away from them.
Moreover, the weasel managed to escape while killing many of their own on his way to another segment of the Outer Sect!
However, today would be the day—it would be the day they finally caught the weasel!
With over fifty Soul Transformation Realm Deacons working in conjunction, they should be able to succeed without a hitch.
At least, that was what they originally thought…
Two days later, in the middle of a wide field on the Western side of the River Serpent's Outer Sect.
"I truly thought that you guys would put up more of a fight, but in the end, you all were worth no more than walking loot bags."
An apathetic voice resounded.
The owner of this voice was man with long, crimson black hair. Holding a sleek black and gold blade to his side, and wearing a similarly colored set of robes, he looked down at the fifty or so Soul Transformation Realm Experts.
He watched as they gasped for air on the cold, hard ground.
"Y-You bastard! Just wait until an Outer Elder comes out from seclusion! You shall understand just what sort of grave mistake you have made today!!" The leading Soul Transformation Realm Deacon roared out with an unwilling voice.
"Is that so…?" Azmodeus questioned with his fierce gaze locked onto this Deacon's figure.
"!!!" The Deacon realized something was up; however, it was already too late…
SHING!
A crimson-colored sword arc no larger than a centimeter in width was unleashed from a black blade.
The sword arc traveled at a speed that couldn't even be quantified by the various Soul Transformation Realm Elders, and before anybody knew the better, their leading Deacon was cleaved down the middle.
*Spurt!*
Blood gushed from both sides of his bisected body as all his internal organs spilled out onto the ground, leaving the entire group of Deacons in a state of utter shock.
"D-Do you know what you have just done!?" One of the Deacons exclaimed with a fearless demeanor.
However, just like the first Deacon that spoke up…

*Spurt!*
Another split body and another life was reaped by The Anomaly.
"Is there anyone else who wishes to speak up against their fates…? If so, then please voice your concerns right away," Azmodeus said with a cordial tone.
"..." "..." "..."
Considering that they would be dying either way, the rest of the Outer Deacons wanted to speak up against the unknown man. However, that look in his dazzling eyes steered them far away from that notion.
"Can you spare our lives-?" All of them asked in unison.
But before they even got out the rest of their question, a tiny sword tendril was unleashed. After which, it weaved in and out of the crowd a countless number of times.
After repeating this process for a few dozen cycles, the group of nearly fifty Soul Transformation Realm Experts turned into blood-mist puddles.
"I thought you all would be quiet, but since you all insisted on speaking, I was forced to cut you down and have your strength become my own."
After getting out these nonsensical words, Azmodeus walked away from the scene, but not before collecting all the Sky-Rank Storage Rings that he decided to 'borrow'.
"Thanks for the gifts; I will make sure to put them to good use as I work on becoming strong enough to take out every loot bag in your River Serpent Sect."
After all this time hiding out in the outer rims of the Sect, Azmodeus figured it was just about time that he headed deeper in.
And while he was doing just that, a number of system notifications rang out inside his head, informing him of all the delicious loot he had acquired from this murder fest.

Following all of the system notifications, Azmodeus felt an immense wave of power rush over him!
Thereafter, his cultivation was increased past the Peak Nascent Soul Realm, while his overall combat power had started to near the Half-Step Void Refining Realm!
