An Alchemist.
To be an alchemist in Prometheus was to become a rare commodity, and also a commodity that held one of the highest authorities in the entirety of the planet!
However, to acquire such respect and reverence from all the people of Prometheus, one needed to first have the talent to grasp it.
In this case, it meant that one needed a natural affinity for Alchemy—an external method that gives one the appropriate amount of talent, or a natural-born physique that allots one said talent.
Furthermore, on top of fulfilling one or all three of these conditions, one also needed a Pill Flame. This will be used to best harness this talent in Alchemy.
On top of acquiring a Pill Flame that suits your nature, one will also need to have the appropriate alchemy manual or technique that will help one comprehend the essence of Alchemy at a faster pace than without any prior guidance.
On the topic of guidance, one can also look to Alchemy seniors in hopes of obtaining some modicum of assistance when it comes to comprehending the mystical and abstruse aspects of Alchemy.
And then there was, of course, the unlikely situation where one fulfilled all of these things to perfection, and it was only then that a true Alchemist could be born in the world of Prometheus!
"I managed to acquire that Alchemy Technique from that unusual stall a while back in Yellowcreek City, but I never got the chance to use it until now…"
Azmodeus looked inside his storage ring and saw a decrepit black book around two inches in thickness.
In hindsight, there was nothing special about this book. However, if one looked closer and really delved into the profundities contained within those few simple words that read 'Alchemy's Essence', then one would begin to see things not seen by those who simply glanced at the ordinary name and passed off the book as nothing but a sham.
I never figured out what it was about this book that interested me so greatly, but something beyond my understanding is definitely hidden within the crumbling pages of this frail thing…
He sat in a lotus position, attempting to comprehend anything he could from the cover before opening up the book and perusing the brittle black pages.
On them, he saw depictions of some sort of alchemist's silhouette, conducting some unorthodox way of processing and concocting multiple pills.

A few days later, a young crimson-haired man with extraordinarily handsome facial features sat on the ground with a hardened expression, seemingly deep in concentration.
He was trying to understand the entirety of the book known as 'Alchemy's Essence'.
Over the last few days, Azmodeus had managed to delve into the very fundamental essence of Alchemy, acquiring the knowledge he needed to begin his journey as an alchemist.
However, before he started refining pills himself, he felt that there was something truly beyond basic alchemy hidden within the confines of those brittle pages.
Azmodeus felt that all he needed to do was spend more time understanding what exactly it was that attracted his existence so greatly.
Nearly two weeks have passed since Azmodeus started progressing on his path of alchemy, which meant that over a month since being kidnapped had gone by in a flash!
It was on this particularly auspicious day that he finally comprehended what it was that he had been trying to understand this entire time. Namely, it was the ability to use anything in existence as a pill cultivation material.
Whether that be a herb, a rock, or even a human, nothing was out of bounds for Alchemy's Essence!
Everything would be concocted into a pill if the manual was followed to the letter!
This manual truly is something especially extraordinary—something that could potentially change everything that's commonly known about the art of Alchemy…
Following this thought, he wasted no time and started utilizing this alchemy technique with the help of his Fire God's Pill Flame and a Common Rank Pill Cauldron.
The cauldron was something he picked up from the Yellowcreek Auction House.

Azmodeus tried circulating the technique in conjunction with his Core and his Pill Flame, attempting to melt a plethora of herbs inside a large brown and black pill cauldron.
According to Alchemy's Essence, all I need to do to concoct a basic Strength Refining Pill used by those in the Strength Refining Realm is to put this moon grass, yang fruit, yin grass, and a few stalks of waterdragon grass in here, and then…

The air within the Evil Cultivators Pill cauldron started fluctuating a little as bright purple and red energies were swirling around with great intensity.
They embodied the essence of not only Azmodeus's existence but also the existence of the Fire God's Pill Flame.
After a few minutes passed by, in the midst of a maelstrom of elements inside a relatively ordinary Pill Cauldron, something appeared to have changed within it as some form of blueish gray pill was spat out from the pill cauldron!
The pill started to levitate as Azmodeus forced it to float in mid-air while getting a good look at the first pill he ever created.
Although the color was a little dull and the pill could be a bit larger and rounder, overall, it was a result beyond excellent for someone who just started to refine pills!
Even so, it was far from good enough for a boy who aimed to reach as far as he could go...!
"This one is fine, but I want more… I wish to see just how far I can take the art of Alchemy before that Evil Cultivator arrives wherever it is that he's going."
He wanted to continue and improve, so that's exactly what he did.
A few hours later, Azmodeus managed to obtain better control over his pill flame, and along with that control came far better outcomes when it involved the success or failure of any potential pills.
Furthermore, he had also managed to increase the quantity of each pill batch to over six!
All in all, he possessed a success rate of around 60% with a brighter shade for each individual pill and, subsequently, a far increased quality as opposed to what it was previously.
In addition, it wasn't only basic pills like Strength Refining and Flesh Refining pills that succeeded, as there were even a few successes among the Qi Condensation Pill recipes that came from 'Alchemy's Essence'.
Although the success rate for such high-ranking pills was extremely low and didn't even pass the 5% mark. With the ability to turn everything into the necessary pill material required, Azmodeus managed to use all of the miscellaneous materials inside his storage ring in order to concoct all these various pills in repeated succession!
