Evelyn POV:-
Feeling extremely gleeful that we are finally back, We went home. We entered as Uncle and Aunt came, "Finally, the light of our house is back." Uncle said and patted my head. I smiled widely and then Aunt kissed my forehead.
"Welcome back, we missed you a lot." She said and I replied, "Me too.."
"Where is Danielle?" I asked. "Oh, She went back, Uncle Ray and Aunt Camila were missing her a lot," Lawrence said.
"Lawrence, aren't you going to the office?" Uncle asked.
"No, Evelyn came back after such a long time, I want to spend time with her," He said and gave me a side hug.
Adrian walked in and looked at me rather afraid, feeling awkward.
I opened my mouth to say something but he spoke first, "Welcome back, Sister."
Not wanting to show Lawrence that I was taken aback by the word 'Sister', I remain stoic. I passed him my usual smile and excused myself.
That moment, It was clear to me that Lawrence has wreaked havoc and that look of Adrian is enough for me to know that Lawrence has warned him.
I thank God that he didn't make me face this. Just that moment of us made me shudder in dread and caused me to immerse in the pools of his apparitions, seeing that would have taken my life out of me.
Shaking off these thoughts, I walked inside the room. I smiled when I looked at it. Finally, it feels good to be back. The feeling is bliss.
As I was smiling, Someone took a hold of my hand and pinned me to the wall, I let out a soft gasp of shock and lifted my gaze only to see Lawrence smirking at me.
My heart began to beat faster as my face flushed.
I lowered my head and smiled a little. He held my chin and lifted it to make me look at him. I began to feel fluttering happiness inside me.
With a sly look, I stare deep into his compelling green eyes that made me feel blessed,
"My reason for living is you.." Lawrence said leaning in, he kissed my cheek and I opened my mouth but he put his index finger on my lips shushing me while his other hand was running through my raven locks.
His eyes flicker with an extreme look of fondness. A vast sea of love in which a devilishly dark desire resides.
But, the delicacy of his touch made me feel those yearnings as well. The tremendously great and barely controllable emotion was always seen in us whenever we got into an intimate relationship. He moved to my ears and whispered, "Can I say something?"
His voice sends an electric spark to my very core as I am lost in that heavenly feeling. His hot breath lingers on my skin as goosebumps are formed over it and my body which was on cloud-nine is unable to produce a sound as I gave him a nod.
"I am addicted to your love.." He said huskily.
My face turned scarlet as I turned my head away from him. He let out a dark chuckle and my heart skipped a beat. My very being lost its sense.
The feeling of ecstasy that was bestowed upon me is remarkable. The dedication of us for each other is clear. I closed my eyes and let myself lose in that holy euphoria…

Finally having a feeling of eminent solace filled me. I rested my chin on the hard chest of my husband as he continued to move his hand gently from my shoulder to my back then back again to my shoulder.
A feeling of intense affection and rapture is rushing in my veins. The freedom from every turmoil is giving me a sensation of sweet serenity. The state of content I am in is unexplainable.
"Lawrence.." I called his name sweetly as he hummed in response.
"I felt so elated when I called you my husband, like you are mine. My husband." I said.
"So do I, My wife.." He said. I closed my eyes and let the tenderness of his touch fill me up.
"Well... Evelyn... " He trailed off as I looked at him and blinked.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I was wondering... Of starting a family, you know?" He said with hesitation. I smiled and kissed his hand.
"I would love to." He smiled radiantly and hugged me.
"By the way, we are going to a party tonight." He said. I narrowed my eyes and asked,
"Party?" He nodded and said,
"I want you to come too. Myra requested that she wants to see you." He said.
I tilt my head in confusion, "Your business partner? Why would she want me?" He shrugged his shoulders and I was about to get up. Lawrence held me close and didn't let me.
"Let go," I said sternly.
"How about 'no'?" He said, kissing my head. I pinched his arm. He winced as I got away.
"You sure know how to ruin moments!" I heard him yelling. I entered the bathroom saying, "Thanks!"
... Myra... Why would she want to meet me?
Looking at my reflection and seeing a lady with beguiling looks, an elegant beauty one cannot resist. I smiled to myself. I have worn a backless burgundy line gown with a front adorn with black laces.
A little makeup as my raven locks are falling on my back. I smiled widely when Lawrence entered. He was looking handsome as ever. He is an embodiment of beauty, like an ancient Greek God. One can't stop itself from falling for him and I felt lucky that he is mine.
He walked closer and turned me around. His forehead rested against mine and I felt nothing but him exist.
"Even that star might not have that shine in it, that you have in your eyes for me.." He said as I blushed faintly and said,
"Never let that shine to fade."
"I won't." He said promisingly.
He kissed my forehead as we left for the party.
I and Lawrence reached the hall and Adrian was also there standing with Myra. They smiled and came to us.
"Good Evening," Myra said.
"Good Evening," I replied. Adrian avert his gaze and didn't look directly at me,
"Welcome, Brother, Sister," He said. Swallowing hard and intending to end this matter I replied, "Thanks, Brother." I said with my usual smile and left with Myra.
"How are you, Mrs Bayford?" She asked and I was so pleased with my surname.
"Fine. And you?" I asked decently.
"I am very fine." "I heard that you want to meet me," I said as she nodded.
"Yeah, Lawrence never brought you to any party, that's why." She said,
"I don't like them that much, you know," I said. "I see." She said and a guy joined the conversation. "Hello, Ladies." He said decently. He is blonde with black eyes.
"Evelyn, He is my brother, Tyron Kite." She introduced. I flashed him my usual smile and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you."
He smirked and bowed a little and offered his hand. I was about to take it but Lawrence came out of nowhere and held my waist and pulled me close to him.
A soft voice escaped my lips as I looked at him smiling at me. I smiled widely when I looked at him.
"Long time no see, Tyron," Lawrence said and my heart skipped a beat when I noticed that Lawrence was holding me possessively and a hint of jealousy that he tried to kiss my hand was clear in his eyes.
"Hey, Lawrence, Your wife is extremely beautiful." He complimented.
Lawrence let out a chuckle and said, "She is the most alluring woman I have seen and I felt proud at the fact that she is mine."
A shiver went down my spine when he emphasized the word 'mine'. I looked at Lawrence who was smiling but inside was boiling.
Tyron kept looking at me and being annoyed by that, Lawrence spoke again, "I'll much appreciate it if you stop looking at my wife."
The venom in his voice was clear. "Evelyn, Adrian is looking for you, go there," Lawrence said as I nodded and left.
I saw Adrian talking to someone and walked to him, "Hey, you are looking for me?" I asked. He excused himself and turned his attention towards me.
"No, Why?' He asked. "But, Lawrence said, you do," I pouted.
He smirked and looked at Lawrence, "Can't you see? He is jealous." He said amused.
I nodded and hesitantly asked, "Adrian... What happened when I left?"
"Don't ask about it and don't think about it." He said monotonously. I tentatively nod.
Then I talked with Adrian for a while and my phone rang, I excused myself to pick the call. I answered that call,
"Do as I say or else I will tell Lawrence everything."
Being perplexed that he already knew everything so why is he calling me.
"Then do it," I said and cut the call.
When my apprehensions have ended, why would I be afraid of it?
On the other hand, If he didn't tell Lawrence everything then who did? Why did he call me now? It's been two weeks since that incident ended.
To clear my doubts, I went to Adrian, "Adrian... " I called him. "Hmm?" He replied.
"Who told Lawrence about it? I am still receiving the threats. Who the hell is this person?" I said as he stared at me for a second, it looked like he was thinking of saying something but chose to stay quiet.
Adrian POV:-
Evelyn asked the question, I was afraid she would.
I think of something to say but nothing convincing comes to my mind as I remain stoic. I shudder when I remember when brother warned me before leaving,

I was getting ready to go to work. I have finally deleted those conversations that caused endless suffering to everyone. I felt bad for Evelyn, she has been living in her parent's home for almost a month and Danielle has also left. It felt like everything that has happened is a dream and my brother is still unmarried but it isn't because of the chaos I have witnessed, I can't let myself feel that. The door knocked and brother entered, we exchanged looks as he sat on the bed and began to say,
"I am going to confront Evelyn. I know you will never think of her more than your sister-in-law. And when she comes back, You'll call her Sister, Got it?" He said in a dire manner. I gave him a hesitant nod and said 'okay'. He walked towards me and said, "You'll never talk about this matter to anyone." He ordered and left. I exhaled, whenever he is angry, I have to reserve myself.

Now, I don't know whether I should talk about it to Evelyn or not? I possibly can't let anyone know that Danielle did that too.. What should I do?
