“Thank you, Lawrence. It’s so beautiful.” I whispered, relaxed in his solace-providing embrace, desiring nothing but his arms to hold me.
“Nothing is beautiful before you.” He hummed, chuckling in my ears which made me shiver out of delight.
He pulled away and offered me a seat. I sit down as he took a seat beside me and said,
"What would you like to have first?" I am not a fan of appetizers so I said,
"Pasta." He nodded and picked the plate of the pasta and fed it to me.
"You know Evelyn. While I feed you. I'll tell you things about my beautiful wife." He said as he continued to feed me. I nodded in approval as he began to say,
"You know, She is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. Everything about her is possessing me in her charm.”
“The cutest thing about her when she is angry. She hangs my suit outside the closet, instead of putting it on the bed. She makes breakfast at a slow pace so that when I come, it will be ready and we can eat together. Instead of replying to my goodbye she says 'hmm'. I find that cute."
I blushed furiously at his words. He is noticing every little gesture of mine. I looked at him as a feeling of elation rushed through me. Feeling loved, immensely.
"You know, her demeanor shows that she has stopped talking to me, not loving me."
"I love it when she shows emotions made entirely for me. She is my salvation. The only thing is, she hides her real emotions but I felt fortunate because she shows me her real emotions and I am so grateful for it."
He continued as he fed me. He stopped for a second and said,"What do you want next, Evelyn?"
"Custard," I said as he nodded and picked it up and fed me. My happiness is beyond words. I am so glad.
"You know, It's just a few days of our marriage and I found myself falling for her. I was so fascinated by her. I have begun to think about her every time.”
I can’t believe this moment is a reality, his endearment never fails to intoxicate me.
I felt so heartbroken when she ignored me and talked to me rudely. As if my heart is being stabbed." He said sadly as I also felt guilty about it. He then gave me a last spoonful of custard and said,
"But I was happy that she loves me, isn't she?" He said with those shining green eyes that held the desire of hearing what his ears were expecting.
I looked away and tried to pick the napkin but he took it before me and wiped my lips with it.
We both stood up and Lawrence slowly cupped my cheeks and looked at me lovingly, "Evelyn, Ever since our marriage, I felt like there are some strings that are tangling me to you and I truly don't want those strings to be torn.”
“So will you help me to tangle them more and to allow me to submerge in those inexplicable feelings I felt about you? Because I want to bound myself forever to you. Will you?"
After hearing that, tears brimmed in my eyes because I never expected to have such a loving husband or such a beautiful life. Tears began to fall from my eyes and Lawrence quickly pulled his hands away.
"I-I am s-sorry, Evelyn. I don't want to touch you without your consent. I-It's just. P-"
I cut him off by crashing my lips on his. He was taken aback by my action but soon melted into the kiss.
We slowly parted away from the holy gratification we shared and stared at our eyes which held a feeling of adorn and affection.
"Yes, I do. I love you, Lawrence, before I knew it, I had already fallen in the pits of your love." I spoke in a soft tone and his face lit up with happiness.
His eyes show the undying love he has for me and that goes for my eyes as well. Our exhilaration is beyond any words.
The sacred bond which brought us so close to each other and evoked such inexplicable feelings in us that it became an eternal source of the divine for us.
"You have rights on me. You don't have to ask for my permission." I said shyly and looked down.
Lawrence stood still, I looked up and saw him staring at me with a hint of dark desires which are more fierce than I have imagined. He looked away and smiled.
I swallowed hard and hugged him.
"It's okay.." I whispered.
"No, it's not. I am afraid I might hurt you unintentionally. You.. were never touched before and I don’t know how I should caress you… I want to make it memorable but.. I don’t think-" He whispered back in a voice submerged in lust and desperation but still controlling itself.
I felt bad for him that he is stopping his unstoppable urges for me.
"I trust you," I said reassuringly but his apprehensions are far from any comfort.
"I don't." He said again in a tone regarded with fear.
I held his collar and looked at him with the same look of craving he is giving me. The look of addiction we have in our hearts. The desires we want to release.
The strong feeling of cravenness for each other.
We both glistened as the moonlight fell on our face making us more aroused than we already are.
Our eyes lost themselves in those mystifying clouds of lust and want. The yearning for each other took over as we both began to pant.
