"Are you still didn't go home?" Jace asked when he caught me in the conference room. "Yesterday when we go home you're still here, now you're still here."
"Are you blind, you can't see the clothes I'm wearing?" I answer sarcastically.
"Oh, sorry," he replied then looked around. "Why does Dane want us in the conference?"
"We have a meeting."
"Ah, the bridge proposal with Dylan." It was as if my head wanted to explode in annoyance when I heard the name of the idiot. I want to kill him seriously.
A few days ago I found out about him and Yara. But for fuck sake, I am still hoping that Yara will change her mind and she will come back. I don't care about her and Dylan. Having sex with him is not an issue with me as long as she just comes back.
"Dylan isn't here yet?" Dane asked and sat down next to me.
"Nothing," Jace replied. Dane was also followed by Phoenix and Blaze.
"Man, are you ok?" Blaze asked me but I just stared at him.
"Yeah."
"You looked tired, dumbass." I leaned my back on the chair. Dane stood up and massages me on the shoulder.
"Chill, fucker, you'll be ok."
"She already lives with your brother," I replied.
"You know my brother, he's an ass and for sure he only wants to annoy you."
"I don't care."
"Lower your pride, dumbass," Phoenix said.
“Shallow the pride,” Blaze added.
"Sorry, we're late." We turned to see Dylan enter and with------ Yara. "Ow, Yara is my assistant." The four looked at me. I didn't say a word but my teeth wanted to break.
"So, you hired Yara in Dy Engineering, Dylan?" Dane asked and returned to her seat.
"No, not under the company, Dane. But, me as my personal assistants itself, like Wallace and Cluster. But she's more special than the two."
"Shall we start? Time is running and we have another job." I grabbed their attention.
Yara explained about the bridge. Everyone listened to her but I was just looking at her face and I didn't understand what she was saying. She looked even more beautiful, her face cleared, she looked abundant in the care of stupid Dylan.
Fuck, if I could just pick her up now and take her home I would have done it. If I could just get her back from Dylan that would have been done. Is Dylan planning to reconcile us or does he really like Yara?
"So, what do you think?" My thought was cut off when Dylan spoke.
"Impressive," Dane said. "Is that your idea?" he added.
"Our idea, Me and Yara," Dylan replied. "We agreed on that idea."
"Ow! Impressive, for me that's fine," Blaze agreed.
"You studied engineering before you disappeared, Yara. You finished it?"
"Only third year, Jace, but I didn't finish because I get in trouble."
"I see. Well, that idea is ok with me," Jace said.
"Me too," Phoenix agreed then looked at us. "You, Zeus?"
"That's fine," I answered simply.
"So, is this final? Also cost, designs, everything." Dylan put her hand on Yara's shoulder. I want to stand up and grab her and kick the asshole.
"Yeah," Dane replied.
"Are we done?" I ask.
"Are you in a hurry, Zeus?"
"Obviously, Phoenix." Then I stood up. "If there is anything that needs my approval just ask, Dane. She knows my answer."
"Is it because of our presence?"
"Dylan!" Dane scolded her brother.
"I don't care about the two of you."
"Well, your actions talk differently."
"Why, do you think I care about you?"
"Nothing? Aren't you really affected?" He pressed his body even closer to Yara. I smirked at him and came closer to them.
"Honestly, Dylan? Do everything you want to do to Yara because I don't care."
I left the conference room and headed to my own office. Instead of soaking up at work I took alcohol and drank. I just leaned back in my chair thinking about what had happened.
I want her back. For fuck sake, I want her. Can I still take her back? Fuck she should be mine alone. Just me. That idiot shouldn't allow to touch her.
I threw away the glass and laid my head on the table. Should I get her back? But what if she doesn't want to? What if she likes the performance of that idiot better than me? What if that idiot could really give what she wanted --- to have children.
Why of all she wanted to ask, she wanted a child? Why not a house, car, jewelry, luxury. Why a child? She is planning to get pregnant, why didn't she just get pregnant with me so that I would have no choice because we already have a baby. She just tortured me now for what she was doing.
WEEKS PAST and a lot had happened. Construction of the bridge has begun and Jace has also arranged for the expansion of the BCC. He confronts Dylan and Yara and then he just tells me. I just say yes to what Jace says even though I don't understand anything. He is also the owner so for sure he knows that for the good of BCC.
I went back to play a woman in bed. But I'm not happy. There is a lack of happiness, the pleasure that my partners give me. I'm looking for something and whether I admit it or not ---- it's Yara. I am not satisfied with my partner. I am craving her sweetness.
I'm going into Dane's office to bring a report. Just outside I could hear her loud voice.
"What the hell---I thought, you're going to fix them as you did with the three? Then now you will tell me you had a relationship?" I frowned at what Dane said.
"That was my intention at first, Dane, but when Yara talked to me I can't refuse her because I like her too." What is said? Is he like Yara?
"And you agreed? What are you going to marry?"
"Marriage? No. No wedding, she said she only needs a child for her life to be meaningful. So I gave it to her." It was as if my head exploded because of what I heard. Didn't he say that ------?
"Dylan, that's not a toy, that's a child. Child."
"Dane, I can raise the child and provide for the financial need. Yara will take care of how she shapes her child, our child according to what she wants. Why make it a big deal?"
"Yes, it is, the child's future is in question here."
"What's the future, Dane? I have money and I can give my son the luxury. Family? Yara and I can remain friends at the same time a mother and a father to our child. You're making life a big deal. Maybe I'll change because we already have a child."
"And what's the child's last name?"
"Dy, probably, my son"
"Is Yara pregnant?" I went in and entered the conversation. I saw the shock on their faces.
"Ow, eavesdropping isn't good, fucker," Dylan replied while Dane is silent.
"Is Yara pregnant?"
"You've heard it and yes."
"How do you make sure you're the father and it's not mine?" I don’t know where I got that word. It just came to my mind.
"I agree with Zeus, Dylan."
"She's two weeks pregnant. You've been separated for three weeks. That means I've been fuck her for a week before our baby is formed."
"How sure are you that she wasn't pregnant when she and Zeus broke up? It's only a week apart so it's not hard to hide," Dane insisted.
"Why don't you want my baby, Dane? If Zeus could have gotten Yara pregnant, it will happen before. The time they spent together but he didn't get Yara pregnant." He looked at me then walked in front of me. "If you insist it then you prove it." Then he walked out of Dane's office.
"Let's find out the truth, fucker, I don't believe in my brother." But I didn’t listen to Dane and I left the office. I will find out the truth.
