ZEUS 'POV
It's been a week since I didn't hear anything from her. I checked her on the Luxury but the staff said that she did not come there even at once. I am always awake waiting for someone to ring the doorbell and that was her. Every night I waited for the door to open and she will come and talk to me properly so we will fix our problem.
I admit, I made the wrong decision and became hasty. I was too sent in the heat of that day. We can talk nicely without ending up separated but because of my annoyance, I became angry without thinking properly.
Fuck, for a week I miss her. I didn't mean this to happen, but I was carried away by my anger because she had changed. I feel ashamed of what she did in front of my friends.
They know that Yara and I are done and they also know what Dane and I talked about. They encourage me to find her. But how can I find the unwillingness to show up? I have no idea where she is because even her previous tenant said she hadn't shown up there for a long time.
"Isn't Yara still coming home, man?"
"Nope," I simply replied to Blaze without taking my eyes off the paper.
"So, nothing really, dumbass?" seconded by Phoenix.
"Yes,"
"Then go with Dane, go ahead with your deal," Jace said.
"Asshole," Dane and I once said to what Jace said. If Yara didn’t show up, or, if I didn't know that Yara is was just around. That deal has been going on for a long time.
"Did you look for her, man?"
"Why? she left, she can learn to come back."
"Pride," Blaze whispered. If they only knew that I almost explored all over Bulacan to find her.
“Ego,” Phoenix added.
"Let's not take the lead, it's like we haven't acted before. It's Zeus' moment so let's give it a go. Isn't it dude?"
"As much as you know, Jace," I answered.
"Why did you break up with her easily? You didn't fix it first." Phoenix's blame me. If I could just tell them that I was also shocked by my decision I would have said it. But fuck this fucking pride.
"Her jealousy is not in the right place."
"Why, she hasn't enough reason?"
"Is there, Blaze?"
"I don't know about you. It's just me, based on my observation of Maggie, my wife easy to gets doubt when she notices something wrong. I mean, woman's instinct, though sometimes I'm not aware. I'm not guilty because I'm faithful but fuck, sometimes I can say that they really have a reason to doubt. Even if you don't mean it, you make them jealous without your knowledge." He gave a long explanation.
"I agree with that because Margot is like that, sometimes. Being handsome is hard to deal with."
"Hailey, not vocal, I'll just be surprised that she will sleep in twins' room or in the triplets."
"Dane," I called. "What can you say?"
"I agree, as a woman I feel for Yara. Knowing that you told her before that you had a crush on me before and then we were together now? Probably even if I was in her position I would doubt you."
"Fuck you dude, we've been friends for a long time, you didn't tell us that you like Dane," Jace scolded.
"Why, don't tell you didn't like Dane when we were kids?"
"Crazy, Hailey is my first crush, my first love."
"Me? I don't think so, because Dane was even more manly than me back then," Jace said laughing.
"Nah, I really think of Dane as a sister because I'm excited to have one," Blaze was smiling too.
"You're the only malicious amongst the four, Zeus," Dane said.
"Yes, but I told her it was gone when I met her. Especially when she became my girlfriend and explain to her everything."
"But when you broke up, we're still together. Can you blame her if she thinks that during the times you separated it was possible that someone intervened between us because your feelings returned?"
"I agree with Dane." The three even looked at each other because they said that at the same time.
"And please Zeus, we're both guilty, because we already had a deal," Dane added.
"But we cut it and we didn't talk regarding that when she came back," I said.
"Do you love her, man?" I looked at Blaze.
"What?"
"Blaze asked you if you love Yara, dumbass?"
"What does love mean?"
"You're in denial, your answer is like we did before." The three laughed because of what Phoenix said.
"See, guys, I'm not in denial, it's just that I want to know what love really means. I like her, I want to fuck her, I took care of her of course because I can use her. But where is the love?"
"Find out," Jace replied. "So tired to explain."
"We have our own definition, man, not ours is the same as yours."
"Only you can say that, dumbass."
"Same that as I still love that stupid Wallace, and I still think of him every night even though he doesn't know that I love him," Dane replied.
"Just flirt with him, Dane. So he will know you've been loved him for a long time."
"Yeah, for Dylan to kill me, Phoenix."
"Just a moment and someone is calling," Jace said then answered. "Yow, Dylan, are you still alive? ---- No, not a loud-speaker, why?-Ow! Really?" Then he laughed out loud so we looked at him.
"Wait, just guys huh?" He got up and went into the kitchen of Dane's office.
"Wait, I'll get some ice," Blaze said.
"Let me, I'll wash my hands," I said then stood up. I caught up with Jace who is talking to someone.
"All right, I want that so I can get revenge on that beast ------- sure. K, bye."
"Is it Dylan still?" I asked when he dropped the call.
"How long have you've been here?"
"Just now."
"Ah, yes he is." Then he came out. I just washed my hands and took some ice. When I came back I immediately sat down while they were just quiet.
"Who doesn't have a meeting?" Jace asked.
"I have."
"I'm busy."
"I'm waiting for something."
They said at once.
"I'm busy too, you Zeus?" Jace asked me.
"Not so," I replied. "why?"
"Good, just get the paperwork that Dylan signs and bring to him."
"Why didn't he come here?"
"He said he had a visitor and he didn't want to leave. He said it's a gal."
"Tss,"
"What now? yes or no? So that we can finalize the budget for the bridge of this building and also comply with the BCC."
"Fine, what time should I go?"
"Now," he replied.
"What?"
"It's only now that they're not busy with his woman because later they'll have a night in bed."
"That woman is important and Dylan doesn't want to leave even for a moment," Blaze said. "Looks like he loves her."
"He said it was a dream come true so he will not exchange anything for her."
"Dylan was lucky that he was granted," Phoenix said.
"Gotta go to so I can come back right away." I had no choice but to go. The animal thinks that he is too important.
While on my way to Dylan's unit I thought about what they said. Do I really love Yara? But how can I say I love her? Yeah, I want her, but it's because I'm lusting her since then. Love and Lust? FUCK!
I just kept thinking until I reached Dylan's condo. I rang the doorbell and it opened for a moment.
"Yara?" I asked when I saw her and she also looked surprised.
"Zeus?"
"What are you doing here?"
"Sweetheart who is that?" Dylan asked topless and with only a towel wrapped underneath while rubbing his hair which was obviously a new bath. Then I noticed Yara who was also wearing a bathrobe and looked like a new bath.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
